Last week, the government's General Accounting Office reported that 56% of the U.S.-Mexican border is OUT OF CONTROL!






Considering the billions Congress has spent on border security since 9/11, results like this show a lack of will in the Administration.






When Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano testified before Congress last week, she refused to say when the border would be under "operational control," or that she would do anything differently to improve security in light of the new GAO study. Napolitano did not even seem displeased with having 56% of the border OUT OF CONTROL.






Please sign the petition to DHS Secretary Napolitano, asking her to get the border under control. We will also send the petition to Pres. Obama. We need hundreds of thousands of signers to bring attention to this petition.

One of your primary duties is to protect America's borders.






In early March, the government's General Accounting Office reported that only 44 percent of the 2,000 mile border with Mexico is under the "operational control" of the Border Patrol. In other words, 56 percent of the Southern border is OUT OF CONTROL. Hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens continue to sneak across the border each year. This is in addition to the countless number of firearms and kilos of narcotics that flow freely across our porous Southern border.






Meanwhile, you recently testified to Congress that efforts to secure the border are on the "right path."






Ms. Napolitano, we the undersigned urgently request that do your job and gain 100 percent control of the U.S.-Mexico border.
