Illegal Aliens Win Big Over Americans Round 1 in Illinois: CALL THE IL HOUSE!!

A very interesting post from www.Alipac.US  about drivers licenses for illegals in Illinois. This follows this post about the amnesty decoy by Sentors Hutchinson and Kyl.  This follows this post about how to Report Illegal Immigrants! Illegal Aliens Win Big Over Americans Round 1 in Illinois

by

ALIPAC

Friends of ALIPAC,

Those of us representing the American majority, the 77% of US citizens who oppose licenses for illegal aliens were defeated by the invaders in Illinois yesterday.

Many thanks to those of you who worked so hard making the calls.

Unfortunately, not enough Americans out of the over 80,000 in our communications network decided to respond to our request and the invasion supporters have just won round 1 in Illinois.

All ALIPAC activists who stand with us against illegal immigration please be advised. If they pass this bill in the IL state house, IL will be the first state to pass legislation for licenses for illegal aliens. This will reverse our hard fought 8 year trend of shutting down licenses for illegals in all states except for Washington, New Mexico, and Utah!

A full win for the illegals in Illinois will be used to pass licenses for illegals in more states, perhaps even your own. An historic win by illegals in Illinois will likely be used as a template in Washington DC to pass Amnesty for illegals and flood your neighborhood with so many 3rd world aliens you will be too busy boarding your windows or packing your bags to fight back anymore.

GOP lawmakers in Illinois caved. The biased media and Associated Press are using two major lies to advance the invasion. They are making the false claim that most Americans support a path to citizenship for illegals to justify giving illegals licenses. We know from accurate polling data that at least 66% of Americans wisely oppose a path to citizenship for illegals and more than 77% oppose licenses for illegal aliens.

Illegal alien supporters win major victory with licenses for illegals in Illinois!

The other thing that is allowing the invasion to succeed is American apathy and those who failed to take just a few minutes to call the Illinois Senate yesterday despite the best efforts of those of us who were fighting contributed to the loss.

We need all of you to pick up the nearest phone RIGHT NOW and click on this link to pull up the contact numbers for the IL State House...

IL State House phone numbers and emails....

Illinois General Assembly - House Members

Illinois House Republicans(Once in, click on Members, scroll down to your legislator, click on their link to the website and if they have an email address it will be to the right under Contacts).

Welcome to The Illinois House Democratic Website(At the top click on Legislators, select the legislator you need and it will give you their contact information).

Make a commitment to call a minimum of 5 numbers at random. Call more if you can spare the time.

Call and tell staff or leave voice messages modeled after our sample message....

"I just heard the ridiculous news that the IL Senate is trying to give licenses to illegal aliens even though 77% of your constituents oppose such a measure. Please argue against and defeat this bill to give licenses to illegal aliens. Giving licenses to illegal aliens will help them to break other laws, take American jobs, take taxpayer resources all to remain in the US unlawfully. Don't let Illinois become the first state in America to grant licenses to illegal aliens when 46 other states have all acted to STOP illegals from getting licenses!"

There are now over 80,000 of you on the ALIPAC Social Media accounts and email alerts at www.alipac.us

You have the power to stop the illegal alien advance in Illinois if we can persuade enough of you to spare an hour on calls.

If you have questions, need help, or suggestions, please post to our activism tracking thread here....

Ignore the Amnesty Decoy, real fight is in the states

Ignore the Amnesty Decoy, real fight is in the states

by

ALIPAC

 Friends of ALIPAC,

After intensive review, many of us believe that the current amnesty bill that has been filed by retiring sellout senators Hutchinson and Kyle is a decoy designed to test our responses.

The amnesty supporters have an orchestrated plan in place. They are not likely to try to pass the amnesty bill in the lame duck session and risk a loss to our side.

The current amnesty bill filed is likely designed to A. pull our attention away from the states where they are rushing to implement licenses and in-state tuition for illegal aliens and B. to analyze our strategic responses and communications abilities so they can fine tune their major amnesty push coming early in 2013!

Thus, we are advising our core activists and allied organizations not engage in full deployment against the current amnesty bill. We feel the current amnesty bill is a feigned left jab and we do not want our movement to step into the enemy's right hook!

Instead, please focus all of your calls and energies on these important state battles found at this link. This week IL will consider a bill to give licenses to illegals, if they get it they will use that win to establish momentum in other states.

While our team may even have a chance to turn back in-state tuition for illegal aliens in Texas where so many ALIPACers live!

We need your calls and emails in large volumes this week in these states to stall the illegal alien advance.

List of state campaigns at this link...

http://www.alipac.us/f8/amnesty-red-...states-267877/

We made some great ground fighting tyrant Harry Reid's plans to take more power for himself in the US Senate last week. If you have not responded to this important call, please get on the horns to the US Senate to fight the rule change that could pass many Republic destroying provisions....

http://www.alipac.us/f8/stop-harry-r...legals-267730/

ALIPAC has proven adept at providing our supporters, the media, and allied organizations with solid strategies and analysis of the national battle against the elites facilitating the illegal alien invasion of our American homeland.

This week we advise you all to ignore the Senate decoy bill and focus all resources on the important state battles!

AMNESTY RED ALERT: Bill Filed and Illegals Move for Licenses and tuition in 3 states!

Amnesty Red Alert: Bill Filed and Illegals Move for Licenses and tuition in 3 states!

by

ALIPAC

The invasion supporters are trying to bum rush us and use the election results to gain more power over Americans. It is clear that their plans were made with elite support long before the votes were counted.

If you have not made your important calls (click here) to stop Harry Reid's power grab please do these quickly. Those of you who did call on Monday are having an impact as you can see in this article here where Mitch McConnell is fighting back with your encouragement.

Two traitors in the US Senate that are retiring, Republicans Jon Kyl and Kay Bailey Hutchison, have just filed an Amnesty bill for illegal aliens. We will move on this next Monday.

For today and the remainder of this week we need a full and rapid deployment to attempt to stop the illegal alien advance in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Illinois! WE NEED ALL ALIPAC ACTIVISTS FROM ALL STATES TO CONVERGE ON THESE THREE STATE EFFORTS!

Step 1: Dictatorship in Massachusetts establishes in-state tuition for illegals.

That's right folks, the Governor of Massachusetts is imitating dictator Obama and is exceeding his constitutional authority to give illegal aliens your child's seat in college while making you pay for it despite the fact that ALIPAC activists helped defeat that bill twice in his state already! He has done so by decree without legislation having passed. The citizens of Massachusetts are currently the first citizens to endure in-state tuition for illegal aliens by royal order.

Swing in to action.

Read and circulate this article

Then craft your own version of our sample message below

"I'm calling/writing to demand that the Massachusetts legislature take immediate action to stop and reprimand Governor Patrick Duval who seems to think he is some kind of dictator who can give our tax money to illegal aliens to put them through college without authorization by our elected officials in the legislature. I want lawmakers to act now to stop Deval's in-state tuition for illegal aliens and his abuse of power immediately!"

Remember to call in with your distinct and personalized message to as many of these targets as possible.

"I'm calling/writing to ask _____ to oppose licenses for illegal aliens in Rhode Island as 77% of Americans do according to a national Rasmussen poll conducted in November of 2007. Illegal aliens should not receive any non-emergency taxpayer benefits including licenses. Forty Eight American states have intentionally stopped illegal aliens from receiving licenses and Governor Chafee does not need to reverse that progress by giving licenses to illegals without legislation that authorizes such a move."

Step 3: Illegals push for licenses in their Illinois stronghold.

From their power base in corrupt Chicago, illegals are pushing for licenses in Illinois hoping to gain traction. You can block their aggression with a large wave of calls and emails to the Illinois legislature.

Read and circulate

It gets harder for us to make the impact we need when we are forced to address multiple targets with limited time and resources.

But we are playing deep defense right now and we do not always get to pick the timing or scale of our battles.

We can push back the illegal alien advance in each of these states if enough of you care enough to put in a few hours of volunteer work to stop them as we have before. If not enough of you respond to this email, the illegals may prevail and score another win giving them momentum for what they want next!

Stop Harry Reid From Changing Senate Rules To Pass Amnesty for Illegals

A very interesting post from www.Alipac.US about Harry Reid and the GOP Senators' amnesty attempt. This follows this post about the House GOP chair's amnesty position. This follows this post about amnesty Republicans, such as John Boener and Lindsey Graham.  This follows this post about how to Report Illegal Immigrants! Stop Harry Reid From Changing Senate Rules To Pass Amnesty for Illegals

by

ALIPAC

Friends of ALIPAC,

We hope that you are rested and recharged after the Thanksgiving break.

We have a window of about three weeks where our activism can have an impact in our efforts to stop both legislative Amnesty and Obama's dictatorial Amnesty for illegal aliens.

We need a strong response from you. We need to move as a group of many thousands with the same voice, at the same time, for maximum impact. We need a massive wave of calls to the US Senate right away to stop Harry Reid's and John McCain's rules changes and Amnesty plans!

The first threat we need to address is the traitorous US Senator Harry Reid who plans to change the Senate rules. He owes his entire political existence in the Senate to the illegal aliens who committed numbers of felonies by voting for him in Las Vegas.

The filibuster and cloture rules in the US Senate are time honored traditions put in place to make sure that no legislation that is potentially damaging to America or highly unpopular with the American public can pass even if one particular party has a majority in the Senate.

Senator Reid wants to remove this safeguard with what is politically called, "The Nuclear Option." Changing the rules of the US Senate to remove a filibuster would drop the threshold on votes to "proceed" with bills or to invoke "cloture."

In 2006, 2007, and 2010, ALIPAC helped defeat Amnesty for illegal immigrants in the US Senate because the filibuster rules said the Amnesty supporters needed 60 votes out of 100 in the Senate to pass the Amnesty legislation opposed by over 66% of Americans instead of just 51 votes.

Here are more details in this article...

Power Grab: Senator Harry Reid Goes for "Nuclear Option" to pass unpopular legislation like Amnesty

http://www.alipac.us/content/power-g...-amnesty-1132/

As you can see in this article, that old traitor Senator John McCain is back in action pushing for Amnesty for illegal aliens even though he campaigned in the GOP Primary of 2010 claiming he had dropped his support for Amnesty. Looks like the Arizona Republicans who were gullible enough to reelect McCain just got screwed. So, if we don't act, Harry Reid is going to have sellout senators like John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and a few others to join with him to alter the rules and rifle through lots of unpopular legislation that will greatly harm America.

McCain to GOP: Embrace ‘bigger tent' and pass immigration reform amnesty for illegal aliens!

http://www.alipac.us/f12/mccain-gop-...one%92-267712/

Please read the articles above and swing into action with ALIPAC today.

Step 1:

Contact both US Senators for your state regardless of the probability they will respond favorably.

Send in your own distinct version of this sample message by phone and follow that call with a written version sent by email, fax, letter, or all three.

Remember that calls followed by personalized and distinctive messages from you will have the greatest impact and that emails alone or template messages will have the least impact.

When you have contacted both of your senators by phone and in writing, then proceed to contact as many other US Senate offices as possible.

Sample Message

"I'm calling/writing today to ask Senator _______ to oppose Senator Harry Reid's despicable plans to alter the US Senate rules to remove the minority party's ability to filibuster. The filibuster, cloture vote threshold, and motion to proceed rules should not be touched! These rules are in place so that highly contentious, unpopular, or nationally destructive laws cannot be passed even if one party has a narrow majority in the Senate. I am aware that Reid wants the rules changed so he can pass Amnesty for illegal aliens who have been committing election fraud in Nevada to support his candidacy. Please stand up to Harry Reid and any member of the US Senate who would try to grab more power and abuse the time honored rules designed to stop bad legislation from passing."

ALIPAC's Contact List for the US Senate

http://www.alipac.us/f31/congression...3/#post1256792

Step 2:

Contact US Senator Mitch McConnell (202) 224-2541 Louisville, KY 40202

Contact Form - Contact - U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell

to say

"I am calling/writing to ask Senator McConnell to speak out against and fully oppose Senator Harry Reid's attempt to change the Senate's filibuster rules so he can pass Amnesty for illegal aliens along with other unpopular legislation Americans don't want!"

Step 3:

Waste some more breath on John McCain to let him know you disapprove of both Amnesty and his lies to Arizona voters.

Contact Senator John McCain (202) 224-2235 Prescott, AZ 86301

http://mccain.senate.gov/public/inde...ct.ContactForm

"I am calling to express my disgust with both Senator McCain's support for immigration reform Amnesty for illegal aliens and his lies to Arizona voters (be prepared for his staff to lie and argue he does not support Amnesty)! John McCain lied to Arizona voters in 2010 claiming he would not support Amnesty anymore but now rushes to help Democrats like Harry Reid pass Amnesty as soon as the Democrats pick up a few more seats in the Senate. John McCain is an illegal alien Amnesty supporter and a liar who has worked to deceive Arizona voters and the entire American public."

Step 4:

Put pressure on Harry Reid's office (202) 224-3542 Carson City, NV 89701

Contact Senator Reid

"I am calling/writing to complain that I do not approve of Senator Reid's attempt to alter the time honored filibuster rules of the US Senate so that he can have more power and pass unpopular legislation. If Reid can't get 60% support for a bill then it need not pass. I find it unscrupulous and underhanded that Harry Reid would seek to change the long standing rules of the Senate to pursue his agenda instead of appealing to the public and other senators on the merits of his bills. I know that Harry Reid wants to change the Senate rules to pass Amnesty for illegal aliens along with many other bills that are opposed by most Americans, and he needs to stop."

Let's get those phone lines in Washington hot today with special pressure on John McCain, Harry Reid, and Mitch McConnell!

By turning a bright light on with thousands of calls to senate offices, you could derail their Amnesty plans. Let them know you are informed and that you stand ready to fight their rule change and Amnesty plans!

Let's roll!

BLAST the Chairwoman for the House Republican Conference during the next Congress for supporting AMNESTY!

https://www.numbersusa.com/faxes?ID=14287

Last week, Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers said on CNN that on the issue of immigration Republicans are "for comprehensive reform". Comprehensive reform is code word for amnesty for illegal aliens.

This statement was especially concerning coming from Rep. McMorris Rodgers who will serve as the Chairwoman for the House Republican Conference during the next Congress. In that role, McMorris Rodgers will represent the full GOP House contingent.

During her three previous terms in Congress, Rep. McMorris Rodgers has consistently supported immigration enforcement measures while opposing amnesty. She rejected the DREAM Act amnesty in 2010 and rejected a smaller amnesty in 2006. Her most recent statement, however, seems to indicate that she may be wavering on her prior positions, which would also put her out of step with the majority of the Republlican Caucus who she is supposed to represent.

Send a fax to Rep. McMorris Rodgers telling her that her statement on CNN was alarming and urging her to represent the wishes of her full caucus.

ALIPAC: Pro-amnesty Republicans “on way out,” says group

by

ALIPAC

A pro-enforcement immigration political action committee is targeting two Republican lawmakers who are advocating amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants.

Recently, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told CBS's Face the Nation that he believes it

is time for "comprehensive immigration reform" -- labeled otherwise by some as "amnesty."

One of those is William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC). He believes Graham needs to go.

"He is up for re-election in 2014," he notes. "And we are going to launch an activist effort in South Carolina to find a very strong Republican candidate to defeat Lindsey Graham in the Republican primary."

Gheen says he also believes it is time to replace House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), who in the wake of the Republican election defeats also said it was time to address immigration policy.

"We are calling on our 140 endorsed members of Congress to oppose Boehner as speaker," he tells OneNewsNow. "We need a new speaker who will meet with his caucus and represent the majority wishes, opposing the amnesty, instead of doing things as John Boehner has done."

Gheen believes amnesty will be one of the issues that will result in a huge backlash against Obama during the 2014 mid-term elections.

Blast La. Gov. Bobby Jindal for Saying America Needs MORE Immigration‏

A very interesting post from www.NumbersUSA.com about action to oppose Governor Bobby Jindal about his immigration stance. Blast La. Gov. Bobby Jindal for Saying America Needs MORE Immigration‏

You can find this fax request by proceeding to

https://www.numbersusa.com/faxes?ID=14273

On Thursday, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal gave an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer. At the end of the interview, Blitzer asked Gov. Jindal if he was in favor of a comprehensive approach to immigration reform. Unfortunately, Gov. Jindal told CNN's viewers what he really believes:

I am for a comprehensive approach.... We in the Republican Party need to be clear that we welcome folks who want to come to this country, who want to follow the rules, make this a better, stronger country. Our legal immigration system is broken. We need to dramatically increase the number of people we allow into this country legally. It's good for them, it's good for our country. Right now, our immigration policies aren't good for our country. They're not good for our families. We have folks that come here, we educate them, we kick them out of our country. As a Republican Party, we need to be very clear, we welcome those folks that want to come here, make this a better, stronger country. It takes a lot of entrepreneurial spirit and risk to move your family here, to take those chances, to want to get good-paying jobs, to work very hard. Those are the kind of people that have made this a great country.

Obviously, Gov. Jindal is not aware (or, worse, he does not care) that 23 million Americans can't find a full-time job. Please send him a fax and tell him that importing even more foreign workers is not a policy that is good for the Republican Party or a policy that's good for unemployed Americans.

Things to do instead of (or after) getting mad

A very interesting post from www.backwoodshome.com/blogs/ClaireWolfe about things you can do if you don't like the way politics is going. This follows this post about Northern whites voting against Mitt Romney.   This follows this post about a race hoax at U.T. Austin.  This follows this post about Emmit Till. In the meantime, you can read a very interesting book HERE.

Things to do instead of (or after) getting mad

BLOGGER'S NOTE: THIS WAS ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED AFTER THE SUPREME COURT UPHELD OBAMACARE, BUT IS APPLICABLE ANY TIME!

Anyhow, it’s time once again to visit the “things to do until the revolution, which may never happen but I’m going to be free anyhow, damnit” department.

Yes, it’s nuts to live in a country where one compromising, authoritarian weasel with a brain only a law school could love can decree the fate of millions. (And not for one second do I believe all the happy spin about how Roberts secretly sabotaged the Dems. Ha ha! They won’t be able to use the commerce clause to make us eat broccoli now! They have to tax us for not eating broccoli instead! We won!!!)

Yes, we’re going to hell in a handbasket. Or without the handbasket.

Yes, the Obamanable decision joins the NDAA, the USA-UnPatriot Act, secret surveillance, drone-murders, and all the other paving stones on that road to hell.

Yes, I feel for you guys who are a lot younger than I who are going to have to pay and pay and pay and pay for a soon-to-be third-world medical system when any moron (that is, any person above the mental capacity of the average politician) can see that real reforms and real health lie in the opposite direction.

But there it is.

So, if you have no cedar shingles waiting to be hammered, no rocks that need removing from the garden or moving into the garden, no punching bags to thwack away at, what next?

In no particular order, some thoughts:

1. Go shoot something. Something inert, of course. But you can use your imagination.

1A. Your television remains a good choice of target.

2. It’s the first day of the second half of the year; time to check your grab & go kit.

3. Play Scrooge McDuck and go revel in your little stash of gold and silver coins. Then make sure they’re well stashed and blessedly there for you afterwards.

4.  Re-read “And Then There Were None.” Or Atlas Shrugged. Or The Hunger Games trilogy. Or The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress. Or whatever else lifts your spirit.

4A. Re-watch Firefly. Or The Matrix. Or V for Vendetta. Or just something goofy that makes you feel good. Like GalaxyQuest. Or Danny Deckchair. Or The Incredibles.

5. Go have wild sex with someone you love. Extra points if it involves edible underwear.

6. Say to heck with some mere old budget. Buy a new gun. Or 500 rounds of ammo for one of your favorites.

7. Go monkeywrench something. Don’t leave such an excellent tool only to the left.

8. Talk to a friendly doctor about a potentially Obamacareless future. Check out medical tourism — U.S.-trained doctors and a tropical vacation for less than the cost of the hospital stay here in the Land of the Free. Get cozy with your veterinarian; you may need him or her someday for more than pet care.

9. Shrug. Or if you’ve already shrugged, pat yourself on the back, then ask how you can do it deeper, harder, better.

10. Pledge to learn a new skill this week. Or take on one of the preparedness projects in M.D. Creekmore’s 31 Days to Survival: A Complete Plan for Emergency Preparedness.

11. Kick ass. Take names. Take no prisoners.

11A.  Sing! (H/T. Jim B.)

11B.  Act with Attitude. Be the smart doggie.

12. Live with insouciance.

12A. Not to mention panache and savoir faire. And as much laissez faire as you can muster.

Help Your U.S. Representative Tell Boehner He/She OPPOSES AMNESTY

A very interesting post from www.NumbersUSA.com about action to oppose John Boehner's postelection amnesty attempt. This follows this post about what to do with the government now!  This follows this post about political violence.  This follows this post about how to Report Illegal Immigrants! For more about what is happening in the nation now click here and you can read a very interesting book HERE!

Help Your U.S. Representative Tell Boehner He/She OPPOSES AMNESTY

Your current  U.S. Representative is just back at the Capitol today and considering whether to join or block Speaker Boehner in moving toward a mass amnesty -- YOUR FAX TODAY IS CRUCIAL

Regardless of your own party affiliation, I need your help with your  Rep. who has a crucial role to play this week in stopping the Republican leadership from promising to move an amnesty next year.

Help Your U.S. Representative Tell Boehner He/She OPPOSES AMNESTY

Speaker Boehner created a media frenzy last week by saying he was open to moving a mass amnesty in order to supposedly gain more Hispanic votes in the future.

Several of his House Republicans immediately said Boehner was wrong to say anything because he hasn't even talked with his Members yet.

Well, everybody is back today after a month of campaigning, and Boehner will hear this week whether the Republican House majority wants to remain the steadfast bulwark it has been for a decade against rewarding millions of immigration lawbreakers with jobs and citizenship.

Don't let your Representative think there is any reason to switch to a pro-amnesty position now.

View & Send Free Fax

or click https://www.numbersusa.com/actionbuffet

(When you click on the red button, you will see more background information if you need it. And you can keep clicking for many different text options for your fax. As always, you can modify and add to your message as much as you want. BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO GET A FAX INTO THAT CONGRESSIONAL OFFICE SO IT CAN BE COUNTED.)

Chances are that your Rep. has always stood against amnesties to reward immigration lawbreaking. However, many previous anti-amnesty stalwarts are vulnerable at the moment because of the chorus of false claims that the elections last week were a mandate for an amnesty if Republicans ever hope to have power again.

Our NumbersUSA Hill Team is saying this morning that our closest Republican allies in Congress have every intention of standing firm, but they need your help in convincing other Republicans that they have no reason to be stampeded by an incredibly biased news media into violating their principles on amnesty.

If you bolster your Representative's confidence, that can help reassure Speaker Boehner and other GOP leaders that they don't need to make any concessions at this moment. Let's slow everything down and give people time to think.

Nearly all  Representatives were re-elected from districts that strongly oppose amnesty. Only a handful of those districts pose any threat to an incumbent based on his/her immigration positions.

Your only real influence over the powerful Speaker Boehner is through your own Representative. Thanks for sending this fax, as you have sent others the last few months.

Hitler's Revenge: Why Romney Failed With Northern Whites

By Patrick Cleburne

NB - The Pacific North West was originally settled by Yankee migrants.

Over at Occidental Dissent, Hunter Wallace has expanded on John Derbyshire’s observation

Barack Obama wasn't re-elected by blacks, Hispanics, or Asians, though they helped at the margins; he was re-elected by Yankees.

to assemble the facts in detail, complete with skilful illustration. The Blinding Light of White Nationalism: The American Nations and the 2012 Election  is worth spending some time on.

Here’s the percentage of the White vote won by John Kerry and Barack Obama in the 2004, 2008, and 2012 presidential elections:

Northeast

New York: 49% (2004), 52% (2008), 49% (2012)

Massachusetts: 59% (2004), 59% (2008), 57% (2008)

Connecticut: 51% (2004), 51% (2004), 51% (2012)

New Hampshire: 50% (2004), 54% (2008), 51% (2012)

New Jersey: 49% (2008), 43% (2012)

Pennsylvania: 45% (2004), 48% (2008), 42% (2012)

Vermont: 65% (2008), 66% (2012)

Maine: 58% (2008), 57% (2012)

Rhode Island: 57% (2008)

Maryland: 56% (2008), 43% (2012)

Delaware: 55% (2008)

Here’s the percentage of the White vote won by John Kerry and Barack Obama in Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida in 2004, 2008, and 2012 presidential elections:

Weakening South

Florida: 42% (2004), 42% (2008), 37% (2012)

North Carolina: 27% (2004) 35% (2008), 31% (2012)

Virginia: 32% (2004), 39% (2008), 37% (2012)

How does the White vote for Barack Obama compare with the other Southern states?

Solid South

Mississippi: 11% (2008), 11% (2012)

Alabama: 10% (2008), 15% (2012)

Wallace notes

…it turns out that there is a much bigger black and Hispanic electorate in Mississippi than either Florida, Virginia, or North Carolina. The problem in these three states is simply that 11% of Whites in Mississippi voted for Barack Obama whereas 31% to 37% are voting for him in Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia.

He then turns to the immediately key GOP problem

Let’s do some more fun comparisons of the White vote for Barack Obama:

Texas: 28% (2008)

California: 53% (2008), 45% (2012)

Kentucky: 36% (2008)

Wisconsin: 54% (2008), 48% (2012)

West Virginia: 93% all White, all red

Vermont: 94% White,  all  blue

West Virginia are Vermont are the two whitest states in America. In Vermont, every county voted for Barack Obama. In West Virginia, every county voted for Mitt Romney. California and Texas are two of the most Hispanic states in America. Yet California is a solid blue state and Texas is a solid red state.

The VDARE.com view of the longer term GOP/Generic American Party problem is of course that excessive immigration is allowing the Democrats to elect a new people.

But that is not actually the 20012 problem. 20012 has parallels with the 1964 Goldwater debacle: weak performance amongst non-Southern whites, particularly in areas initially peopled by Yankees. This of course was beautifully documented in the Kevin Phillips classic The Emerging Republican Majority.

That these people would not rise up in rage against a candidate whose entire agenda is racial spoils-gathering at their expense of course reflects their deep naivety on matters of ethnicity – a long tradition.

But more particularly it is another case of the effectiveness of Hitler’s Revenge. As I said discussing the Obamaphone row

This election can be formulated as a referendum on whether Americans like rich white men. Or it can be formulated as a referendum on racial socialism – do Americans as a whole approve of the use of Federal power to expropriate resources from Whites and transfer them to people of color. There is no middle way.

The latter course would mean the GOP behaving as the Generic American Party.

For that, Team Romney and its Consultants lacked the stomach.

And failed theNation

Slippery Six” Mid-West States Doom Romney—Because Of Low White Share

Slippery Six” Mid-West States Doom Romney—Because Of Low White Share

By Steve Sailer

What can we learn from the 2012 Presidential election?

How about this? In politics (as we might have occasionally mentioned over the dozen years of VDARE.com’s existence) demography is destiny.

Mainstream Republicans appear to be waking up to a reality that they’ve gone out of their way to not think about in the 15 years since Peter Brimelow and Ed Rubenstein pointed out that immigration-driven demographic change was bad for the GOP.

But, not having exercised their intellects about demographics over the intervening years, the first reaction of the Republican brain trust has been to grab the helpful advice of their Democratic colleagues: capitulate on Amnesty!!!

Nothing generates respect more than weakness and surrender, right?

The Democrats, these GOP strategists apparently reckon, have outsmarted us on demographics. So, being smart, they must know what is good for us, right?

After all, the only alternative would be to think for ourselves. And thinking makes our heads overheat.

However, for those of us who do think about demographics, here are two fairly good sources of data. One has gotten close to zero attention.

Here’s a chart you won’t see elsewhere:

Chart By Steve Sailer; Exit Polling By Reuters-Ipsos, Sample Size 40,000.

Before the election, I presented demographic data on 7,500 likely voters collected in October by Reuters in conjunction with the French polling firm Ipsos. What I now present above are some of their new November election numbers, using their huge sample of 41,227 actual voters. My bar chart is arranged in rank order of each group’s share of the vote going to Romney—from black single women at 2.4 percent to Mormons at 85.9 percent.

As you can see, although Obama claimed to be a uniter in 2008, in fact his 2012 campaign was scientifically divisive. The Obama coalition of fringe elements in American society is united by one main driving force: resentment of the core groups in American society—such as married white people. Hence the vitriol from the victors since Tuesday, with much chest pounding about the long-hoped for death of white America.

My bar chart was created with the help of Reuters’ superb website at American Mosaic Polling Explorer, which lets let you crosstab their data any way you like. The existence of this resource appears to be the best kept secret in the Main Stream Media. Nobody except Reuters is talking about it.

Instead, the MSM is going with the Edison exit poll, which has a sample size of 26,565. This is understandable, because the MSM paid for Edison. But it means we’re getting the same old prefab crosstabs that don’t answer the truly interesting questions.

The Edison sample size used to be enormous (almost 88,000 in 2004). Recently, however, it’s been scaled back to save money. For example, Edison didn’t release any exit polls on the voting in Texas, the country’s second biggest state, without whose 34 Electoral Votes no Republican seems likely to ever be elected President again, because its sampling was so sparse in that Republican state.

Which ought to raise a red flag about the headline news from Edison: Hispanics cast ten percent of the national vote in 2012. But how can you be so sure about the Latino vote if you barely sampled in Texas?

Overall, exit polls are not well suited for measuring turnout. The pollsters have to decide ahead of time which precincts to hire workers to cover, so they need a model of whom they expect will vote in what numbers. Not surprisingly, they tend to get back roughly the results they anticipated.

Another dirty secret: exit poll data of whatever origin typically gets massaged by the firm immediately after the election to make it match up better with actual vote totals. I can recall, for instance, Edison’s demographics shifting dramatically on my screen in the wee hours of Election Night 2004, as all evidence of their initial report of the triumph of President-Elect Kerry had to be crammed down the memory hole.

It took a couple of months of Michelle Malkin, myself and others pointing out that Edison’s celebrated report of Bush taking 44 percent of the Hispanic vote didn’t jibe with the actual votes before Edison finally retracted that guesstimate in early 2005. By then, it had become an apparently unkillable myth.

Indeed, Edison’s exit polling has had a track record of overestimating the size of the Hispanic vote. It usually reports a dramatic number deceptively higher than the big, carefully controlled Census Bureau survey reports that appear several months after the election—when nobody in the MSM pays attention. Edison’s attitude seems to be: If we’re off by four or eight or twelve years, it’s no biggie.

I’m not going to make a big deal about this either. I don’t have any more idea than Edison does what percentage of the vote was Hispanic. But I do know it ought to go through the formality of becoming true.

The Edison poll is a mixture of in-person interviews at voting locations and phone calls, whereas the Reuters poll is mostly an online panel. Cyberspace makes it cheap to sample all over. Thus in Texas, Reuters is able to report that Romney won only 37 percent of the growing Hispanic vote. That’s quite a bit better than Romney did nationally. But of course it is still ominous for the long-term future of the Republican Party. Texas follows California from red to blue, it’s Game Over in the Electoral College.

Nevertheless, unless the Republican Big Boys cave in to putting illegal aliens on the “path to citizenship,” it’s not a near-term threat—because Romney won a stunning 76 percent of the white vote in Texas, to canter to an easy victory.

White solidarity in Texas is likely to keep the Republicans viable in the White House hunt for a few more elections.

Of course, the Republicans can’t win more than 100 percent of the white vote in Texas. The distant future does look dire for them…unless they DO something about immigration.

Note that, in 2008, the GOP nominated John McCain, sponsor of the 2006 amnesty bill with Ted Kennedy. According to the conventional wisdom that Hispanic voters only care about immigration, McCain should have been a great choice. Instead, he only earned 31 percent of the Latino vote—not significantly better than Romney’s 28.3%, according to Reuters.

Note also, for the record, that Reuters/ Ipsos shows Romney’s overall white share as just 58.1% vs. Edison’s 59%. This makes it clearer that Romney’s white share remained stuck at the high end of the mediocre post-Reagan range. (More comparisons here).

Having a second opinion from Reuters is particularly helpful for small sample size groups. For example, both Edison and Reuters report that Jewish support for Romney rose from the Obamamania depths of 2008. Edison has Romney’s 2012 Jewish vote at 30 percent and Reuters at 34 percent. If you assume Jewish opinion tends to be out in front of the rest of the public, that bodes a modest amount of ill for Obama’s second term.

And what about the Asian vote, which Edison reported as an unprecedentedly low 26 percent for the Republican candidate? Is that a trend? Or a small sample size fluke? (In contrast, Edison says the enigmatic “Other” racial category gave 38 percent to Romney.)

Unfortunately, Reuters just lumps Asians in with all “Other Minorities.” Of that group, 38 percent voted for Romney.

So I would say the jury remains out on the interesting question: Is legal immigration from Asia disastrous for the GOP—or just bad?

Thanks again, Wall Street Journal Edit Page!

Finally, there’s another finding from the Reuters data that’s not widely comprehended yet.

Romney could have won the Electoral College in what can be called the Big Ten states (after the college football conference of the Great Lakes and Upper Midwest). He did win Indiana, and he lost Obama’s home state of Illinois badly. The other six states in this region, however, all slipped through his fingers: Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

In each of these Slippery Six states, Romney won at least 45 percent of the vote. But he still wound up a cumulative 0 for 80 in Electoral Votes. If Romney, rather than Obama, had won all six, he’d be President.

The Slippery Six are states with old-fashioned white and black voting demographics, still with a smattering of old time unionized factory workers. Hispanics, much less Asians, are, for the moment, still a minor matter politically.

According to Reuters, Romney lost the Slippery Six states because (exactly as VDARE.com warned repeatedly while digging white share data out of reluctant tracking polls, see here and here and here), he did badly there among white voters—winning only 52 percent, six points worse than nationally.

Most notably, Romney did terribly among the white working class in these six states. Thus he did only two points worse among whites with college degrees in the Slippery Six than he did nationally. But among the white “some college” component, he came in six points worse than nationally. And among the white “no college” voters, he performed 11 points worse than across the country—finishing tied with Obama.

In fact (although sample sizes are getting small), Romney even appears to have suffered the ignominy of a reverse gender gap among no-college whites in the Slippery Six—winning 51.4 percent of the women, but only 48 percent of the white working class men.

So the hidden story of the 2012 election just might come down to Romney not appealing to blue collar white guys in this swing region. Or you could attribute it to the immensely rich Obama campaign’s relentless negative advertising all summer depicting Romney as an outsourcing zillionaire.

But, how much did Romney offer working class whites in this swing region? Did they have much cause for hope that he’d take a strong stand against legal and illegal immigration? Affirmative Action? How about some public sympathy about their difficulties with influxes of Section 8 renters, whom rich liberals have been evicting from Chicago lakefront housing projects? Is that fair?

No—but mentioning it is divisive!

It’s much less controversial for Republicans just to stick to “economism”…and lose.

Is the GOP Headed for the Boneyard?

http://www.vdare.com/articles/is-the-gop-headed-for-the-boneyard

By Patrick J. Buchanan
After its second defeat at the hands of Barack Obama, under whom unemployment has never been lower than the day George W. Bush left office, the Republican Party has at last awakened to its existential crisis.

Eighteen states have voted Democratic in six straight elections. Among the six are four of our most populous: New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois and California. And Obama has now won two of the three remaining mega-states, Ohio and Florida, twice.

Only Texas remains secure—for now.

At the presidential level, the Republican Party is at death's door.

Yet one already sees the same physicians writing prescriptions for the same drugs that have been killing the GOP since W's dad got the smallest share of the vote by a Republican candidate since William Howard Taft in 1912.

In ascertaining the cause of the GOP's critical condition, let us use Occam's razor—the principle that the simplest explanation is often the right one.

Would the GOP wipeout in those heavily Catholic, ethnic, socially conservative, blue-collar bastions of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio and Illinois, which Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan swept, have anything to do with the fact that the United States since 2000 has lost 6 million manufacturing jobs and 55,000 factories?

Where did all those jobs and factories go? We know where.

They were outsourced. And in the deindustrialization of America, the Republican Party has been a culpable co-conspirator.

Unlike family patriarch Sen. Prescott Bush, who voted with Barry Goldwater and Strom Thurmond against JFK's free-trade deal, Bush I and II pumped for NAFTA, GATT, the WTO and opening America's borders to all goods made by our new friends in the People's Republic of China.

Swiftly, U.S. multinationals shut factories here, laid off workers, outsourced production to Asia and China, and brought their finished goods back, tax-free, to sell in the U.S.A.

Profits soared, as did the salaries of the outsourcing executives.

And their former workers? They headed for the service sector, along with their wives, to keep up on the mortgage payment, keep the kids in Catholic school and pay for the health insurance the family had lost.

Tuesday, these ex-Reagan Democrats came out to vote against some guy from Bain Capital they had been told in ads all summer was a big-time outsourcer who wrote in 2008, "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt!"

Yes, the simplest explanation is often the right one.

Republicans are also falling all over one another to express a love of Hispanics, after Mitt won only 27 percent of a Hispanic vote that is now 10 percent of the national vote.

We face demographic disaster, they are wailing. We must win a larger share of the Hispanic vote or we are doomed.

And what is the proposed solution to the GOP's Hispanic problem, coming even from those supposedly on the realistic right?

Amnesty for the illegals! Stop talking about a border fence and self-deportation. Drop the employer sanctions. Make the GOP a welcoming party.
And what might be problematic about following this advice?

First, it will enrage populist conservatives who supported the GOP because they believed the party's pledges to oppose amnesty, secure the border and stop illegals from taking jobs from Americans.

And in return for double-crossing these folks and losing their votes, what would be gained by amnesty for, say, 10 million illegal aliens?

Assume in a decade all 10 million became citizens and voted like the Hispanics, black folks and Asians already here. The best the GOP could expect—the Bush share in 2004—would be 40 percent, or 4 million of those votes.

But if Tuesday's percentages held, Democrats would get not just 6 million, but 7 million new votes to the GOP's less than 3 million.

Thus, if we assume the percentages of the last three elections hold, the Democratic Party would eventually gain from an amnesty a net of between 2 and 4 million new voters.

Easy to understand why Democrats are for this. But why would a Republican Party that is not suicidally inclined favor it?

Still, the GOP crisis is not so much illegal as legal immigration. Forty million legal immigrants have arrived in recent decades. Some 85 percent come from Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. Most arrived lacking the academic, language and labor skills to compete for high-paying jobs.

What does government do for them?

Subsidizes their housing and provides free education for their kids from Head Start through K-12, plus food stamps and school lunches, Pell Grants and student loans for college, Medicaid if they are sick, earned income tax credits if they work and 99 weeks of unemployment checks if they lose their job.

These are people who depend upon government.

Why would they vote for a party that is going to cut taxes they do not pay, but take away government benefits they do receive?

Again it needs be said. When the country looks like California demographically, it will look like California politically. Republicans are not whistling past the graveyard. They are right at the entrance.
