Phone now to stop DREAM amnesty‏

An interesting post from http://www.numbersusa.com/ about Nancy Pelosi's amnesty bill. This follows this previous post about it and this post which shows that there are 30,000 openly illegal immigrants in the border town of El Paso. For more that you can do to get involved click HERE!

Phone now to stop DREAM amnesty‏

WITH ALL THAT OUR VETERANS DID FOR OUR FREEDOM,

SURELY WE CAN MAKE ONE OR TWO PHONE CALLS TO PROTECT OUR COUNTRY FROM ANOTHER AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL-ALIEN WORKERS?

Veterans Day is over, and the congressional staffs began returning to their Capitol Hill offices about an hour ago.

Their phones need to ring off the hook all day today, letting them know that the American electorate is outraged at congressional leaders' announcements that they intend to hold votes on the massive DREAM Act amnesty during the lame duck session.

ACTION: Click here to see your Phone Action Note on your customized NumbersUSA Action Board.

You will find a Phone Action Note for each of your 3 Members of Congress. On each note, you'll find the name and phone number.

For each, you will also find easy talking points about what to say when you make the phone call. We make it incredibly easy to make a very quick call.

Our Action Board Team has provided customized talking points for each Member based on whether he/she is a Democrat or Republican, was defeated last week, re-elected or is retiring, and whether he/she is in a competitive district or safe district.

If you've never made one of these phone calls before, you can pull up the phone note and simply call and say nothing more than, "My name is xmxmx xmxmxm and I think it is an insult to all voters that Congress would even consider a massive amnesty just after an election and before the people elected take office. Thank you." Or some other short statement.

What counts more than anything is the NUMBER of calls Congress gets today, the first day after Speaker of the House Pelosi said she is considering an amnesty vote next week.

OUR SACRIFICE COMPARED TO THAT OF OUR VETERANS

On my guest appearances on radio shows yesterday, hosts expressed concern that U.S. citizens are exhausted from the campaigns and elections and may feel like they just don't have the energy to fight another political battle so soon.

This was my basic response:

For all of you on this Veterans Day who never served in our country's military . . .

For all of you like myself who DID serve but never saw combat . . .

Please think about the courage, the sacrifice and the pain that our combat veterans have had answering the call of service to their national community.

Folks, we are talking about PHONES, not FOX HOLES here.

Surely, we, too, can serve our national community with the minor effort of picking up a phone and telling our Members of Congress that illegal foreign workers should not be allowed to keep their jobs permanently while 22 million American members of our national community who want a job can't find one.

If you haven't sent your new faxes on this amnesty threat, please click here and send them. Our machines are processing tens of thousands of faxes into congressional offices at this very minute. Keep them coming.

THANKS FOR MAKING A PHONE CALL TODAY
