The past week has been an active one in the House and Senate. Interestingly, this was also the same week that the president took a state trip vacation in Europe and to Saudi Arabia, while his wife and daughters went to China for vacation!
In the House, the minority party is attempting to do a Discharge Petition to force an immigration amnesty vote. This was also after the House, including the Speaker and his deputy Steve Womack, snuck a bill to offset the affects of Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act.
The Senate is now attempting to rush the Doc Fix bill that the House snuck by. We shall see how this all goes!
