Five Flakes: The Treasonous GOP Senators Voting For Lynch—And Amnesty

AG Nominee Lynch is not the real problem. The problem is the collection of Flakes in the GOP leadership.
It appears the GOP Congressional Leadership has finally caved on Loretta Lynch. The party bosses have resolved a dispute over abortion holding up a human trafficking bill that was being used to delay a vote on Lynch. After being accused of being opposed to “women” for the last few weeks, Senate Majority Mitch McConnell has reportedly cracked (again) and will now allow a confirmation vote [Senate reaches deal to vote on AG nominee Loretta Lynch, by Alexander Bolton, The Hill, April 21, 2015].
But the responsibility doesn’t lie solely with McConnell. Even though Lynch’s record on race is exactly what one would expect from Eric Holder’s hand-picked successor and she will continue Obama’s unlawful Amnesty, several Republican Senators have already declared they will vote for Loretta Lynch. And as you might expect, the same Senators who won’t vote against Lynch are the same Senators who won’t do anything about Amnesty.
The five openly declared Lynch supporters in the Republican Party include:

• Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

Graham may be running for President but despite that, he is still openly defending Amnesty [Lindsey Graham on 2016, Immigration and Israel, by Beth Reinhard, Wall Street Journal, April 20, 2015]. A Gang of Eight co-sponsor, it’s not surprising he is eager to support Lynch. Graham’s strategy to confront Obama’s unilateral Amnesty was to fully fund it and leave it to the courts figure it out [Sen. Lindsey Graham is the White House’s favorite Republican for funding Amnesty, by Conn Carroll, Townhall, February 23, 2015].
Graham made his priorities quite clear during Lynch’s confirmation hearings. While America’s Senator, Jeff Sessions grilled Lynch on her willingness to back Obama’s executive Amnesty orders, Graham led a line of questioning about… online gambling, which his megabillionaire backer and casino mogul Sheldon Adelson strongly opposes. (Adelson, needless to say, also supports Amnesty.)

• Illinois Senator Mark Kirk

Kirk is a member of the liberal “Main Street Republicans” group and has a poor record on immigration, with a lifetime C rating from NumbersUSA. Kirk claimed to oppose Obama’s executive Amnesty—but only because it robbed Republicans of a chance to pass a “bipartisan” bill doing more or less the same thing. He then voted to fund it anyway [Sen. Mark Kirk: Opposed Obama’s Amnesty before voting for it, Numbers USA, January 22, 2015]

• Utah Senator Orrin Hatch

Incredibly, Hatch says that he is supporting Lynch because the Justice Department “needs new leadership” [Hatch Moves to Support Lynch, Hatch Senate Website, Accessed April 21, 2015]. This is par for the course for Hatch, who has a record of announcing support for far-Left Democrats and then acting surprised when they predictably attack Republicans. “I start with the premise that the president deserves the benefit of the doubt. I don’t think politics should be played with the attorney general,” he told The Hill in 2009. Just as Hatch is now supporting Lynch, he supported Eric Holder in the interest of “comity,” even though Holder’s future anti-White activities as Attorney General were easy to predict.
Not surprisingly, Hatch, who has a C lifetime rating from Numbers USA, also claimed to oppose Obama’s unilateral Amnesty before voting to support it [Sen. Orrin Hatch: Opposed Obama’s Amnesty Before Voting for it, Numbers USA, January 19, 2015].

• Arizona Senator Jeff Flake

The appropriately-named Jeff Flake is a long-standing immigration enthusiast back to when he was co-sponsoring legislation alongside Luis Gutierrez in order to bring in more immigrants. Not long ago, there were even suspicions that he was preparing to switch parties. A member of the Gang of Eight, Flake muttered some dissent about the legality of Obama’s unilateral Amnesty, before voting in support of it [Sen: Jeff Flake: Opposed Obama’s Amnesty before voting for it, Numbers USA, January 12, 2015]

• Maine Senator Susan Collins

Susan Collins said she found Lynch to be “very impressive and I think she deserves to be confirmed.” Of course, Collins also tried to frame this as a way to get rid of Holder more quickly [Lynch nomination to replace Holder coming up in Senate next week, by Kathleen Hunter, Bloomberg, March 10, 2015].
But Collins also voted to end debate on the Gang of Eight’s Amnesty bill in 2013, which helped push the bill toward passage. She did rhetorically condemn Obama’s unilateral Amnesty because it “is undermining our constitutional separation of powers.” However, when the time came to vote in support of Ted Cruz’s point of order which would have opposed Obama’s action on constitutional grounds, Collins voted against Cruz and in support of Obama. Senator Collins has a lifetime C- record according to Numbers USA, and she’s getting worse with each passing year.
What’s particularly disgusting about all of this is that even “respectable” conservatives have plenty of cover. The Heritage Foundation says that the Senate must vote “No” especially “when a nominee supports actions that go beyond the executive’s constitutional authority,” as Lynch does. [“No” on the Confirmation of Loretta Lynch for Attorney General, Heritage Action for America, March 2, 2015]. Even National Review has editorialized against the Lynch nomination [Resist the Lynch nomination, National Review, January 29, 2015].
And the Main Stream Media has highlighted other important reasons to oppose Lynch becoming the Attorney General. U.S. News & World Report noted: “There are serious allegations that prosecutors in her office – the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York – made use of secret dockets, denied the victims of crime the opportunity to pursue restitution as required by federal law, and committed other abuses.” [Block Loretta Lynch’s Confirmation, by Peter Roff, February 5, 2015].
Lynch was also heavily implicated in the massive money -laundering scandal involving banking giant HSBC. As U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Lynch agreed to drop charges against HSBC officials in return for its paying a fine [HSBC Whistleblower spills Lynch Evidence To Senate, by Jerome Corsi, WND, February 18, 2015]. Testimony on all of this was presented to the Senate Judiciary Committee. Politically, it’s hard to see the downside of opposing an Obama nominee because she allegedly protected corrupt bankers.
But Lynch would be the country’s first black female Attorney General. Not many Republicans want to vote against that. Lynch also comes from a humble family background, which gives her a narrative that can be eagerly promoted if this battle is drawn out any further [After forging her path from N.C. to Brooklyn, Lynch is poised to become attorney general, by Sari Horwitz, Washington Post, January 26, 2015].
And while the MSM is largely shying away from her role in banking scandals, it celebrates how she helped prosecute the Lufthansa heist immortalized in the movie “Goodfellas” [Loretta Lynch Versus the Goodfellas, by James Oliphant, National Journal, December 12, 2014].
What all of this shows is how talk of a Republican “majority” is deeply misleading when it comes to immigration. While the Democrats remain utterly united and fanatically dedicated to the goal of importing more Third World immigrants, the GOP cannot keep its caucus on the same side even when it comes to voting against Eric Holder’s chosen heir in the very office that will be used to administer Obama’s unilateral Amnesty.
Instead of a two-party system, we really have a “one and a half” party system, where monolithic Democrats and a rump of the Republicans can always be counted on to go along with more immigration.
And Republicans are so intimidated of being regarded as “racist” or “sexist” that they insist on acting like gentlemen even as Democrats ceaselessly campaign against them as vile bigots.
The solution: either purge the Republican party of immigration supporters—or starting a new party altogether. But both of these ambitious goals share the same prerequisite—stopping immigration must be at the center of any reconstituted American Right. Anything less is just preparation for more failure.
After all, as the Lynch vote clearly shows, a “majority” composed of Flakes isn’t worth much of anything at all.

An upcoming vote on pro-abortion President Barack Obama’s Attorney General nominee Loretta Lynch that was once thought to be a runaway vote for the nominee appears as if it will be incredibly close.

 

 

 

According to a new Politico report, its projection is that Lynch will win nomination on a 50-50 tie with pro-abortion Vice President Joe Biden casting the deciding vote. With that in mind, pro-life advocates may have a chance to swing another vote or two into the no column and derail her nomination.
The report mentions swing votes, including Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio).

Just days before her nomination as attorney general goes to the Senate floor, Loretta Lynch is stubbornly stuck right around 50 votes — suggesting a confirmation fight the Obama administration once seemed certain to win with relative ease will go down to the wire.
Barring an 11th-hour surprise, Lynch is likely to be confirmed. But with four GOP senators currently backing her along with unanimous support from Senate Democrats, Lynch would secure the bare minimum required to be installed as the nation’s top cop – as long as senators hauled in Vice President Joe Biden to break a tie.
Several Republican senators who could have been potential “yes” votes are signaling ahead of the confirmation vote that that they will instead vote against her…. Republican Sen. Dean Heller said in an interview that he is “leaning no” on the confirmation vote expected next week.
The confirmation showdown is set for next week. Senate Majority Leader McConnell hasn’t indicated how he will vote, though two members of his leadership team – Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn of Texas and Missouri Sen. Roy Blunt, the fifth-ranking Republican – are confirmed “no” votes.
Senate Republicans who are backing her are Orrin Hatch of Utah, Jeff Flake of Arizona, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Susan Collins of Maine.

ACTION: Contact members of the Senate and urge a NO vote on Loretta Lynch’s nomination.

Lynch is the nominee to replace pro-abortion Attorney General Eric Holder. Holder, who is pro-abortion and who used his post in the Obama administration to target pro-life people, announced in September he would step down from his position when a replacement has been confirmed.
During her confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Lynch admitted to pro-life Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina that she once signed onto a brief the Planned Parenthood abortion business submitted in its legal battle to overturn the Congressional ban on partial-birth abortions. The Supreme Court eventually sided against Planned Parenthood and upheld the ban on the gruesome abortion procedure.

Lynch signed on to an amicus brief in the Partial Birth Abortion case before the Supreme Court where she served as an amici in favor of Planned Parenthood. She argued that the ban against the killing of partially born children was “unconstitutionally vague and threatens the integrity of the criminal justice system.”
On April 18, 2007, the Supreme Court announced its opinion in Gonzales v. Carhart, holding that the federal Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act was constitutional. The ban has stopped as many as 15,000 such abortions.
Casey Mattox of Alliance Defending Freedom,previously wrote at LifeNews that “The Gonzales decision held that the federal ban on partial-birth abortions, except where necessary to save a woman’s life, was facially constitutional – meaning that generally speaking the ban was constitutionally sound. Opponents of the ban, including Planned Parenthood and their allies, had argued strenuously that the law was unconstitutional because it lacked a “health” exception.”

“Hours after the decision, Planned Parenthood was still warning of its imminent negative impact on women’s health,” he said. “Over five years later, Justice Ginsburg and the nation still wait. Although women’s health was allegedly immediately harmed by the decision, we have not yet seen an as-applied challenge on behalf of one of these women, nor have we seen even one documented story of a woman whose health was impacted by the unavailability of a partial-birth abortion.”
Lynch, the U.S. attorney in Brooklyn, is in her second stint as U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of New York, appointed by President Obama in 2010 and also serving in the same post from 1999 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton. She will face full confirmation in the Senate, where Republicans are in control.
Lynch would be the second woman to serve as attorney general and the second African-American to hold the post.

Texas Middle School Principal Fired for Telling Students to Speak English so they don't feel bullied when they are talked about in Spanish!

Texas Middle School Principal Fired for Telling Students to Speak English March 20, 2014

Yesterday, the news broke that a middle school principal in Hempstead, Texas had been fired.  Her transgression?  Announcing over the loudspeaker that students in the school should not speak Spanish while on campus.

Hempstead Middle School Principal Amy Lacey was placed on administrative leave back in December for her announcement.  At the time, ProEnglish covered the story in the “English in the News” section on our website.  Three months later, we learned that the school board will not renew her contract.

In a press release from last evening, ProEnglish Executive Director Robert Vandervoort called it “an outrage” that the school board “caved in to vocal multilingual pressure groups and fired a well-meaning principal.”  He also noted that Hempstead Middle School is a taxpayer-supported institution.  In addition, Vandervoort referenced the federal court of appeals case Silva v. Catholic Diocese of Wichita, which ruled that schools have a right to require that English be spoken by students.

ProEnglish is in the process of contacting Ms. Lacey, and we intend to assist her in any way possible.  Ms. Lacey’s predicament bears some resemblance to another case ProEnglish is currently involved with.  As many of you have heard, Arizona nursing student Terri Bennett was suspended from her college and viciously insulted by administrators for simply requesting that English be the language spoken in her classes. 

We are continuing to provide significant support to Terri as her case makes its way through the legal process.  The cases of Ms. Bennett and Ms. Lacey show the importance of making English our official language.

Senate floor. While a few champions have emerged in opposition to this bill, most Senators are sitting back and waiting to take a position on this bill until they absolutely have to. That time is near. As soon as

The 82 Senators who are not part of the Judiciary Committee are paying close attention to the level of noise that is created over this week's vote. The Senate Judiciary Committee will begin deliberating the border and nation destroying illegal alien Amnesty bill S. 744 this Thursday. While we are likely to lose the vote in this committee, we must fight them every inch of the way!



The illegal aliens have their paid phone banks pretending to be real callers to lawmakers today, so you must rise up to flood these offices with calls from real Americans taking a stand!

The Amnesty faction has this committee stacked with people they believe they can count on to pass the bill out to the full senate. Please use every bit of time you can to lobby lawmakers against this bill and to warn other members of the public what this bill will do and what it means.



After the next 50+ million people are pumped into America as Senator Sessions' office reports this bill will do, it will be too late and all of us and our families will be under far too much duress to have time for lobbying anymore.

Are your Senators holding a town hall before they vote on the immigration bill?‏

Call your Senators' offices and demand that they hold a town hall to discuss the bill

Dear Activist,



This Friday, the US Senate will adjourn business in Washington and go home for a "State Work Period" of 9 days. This is the last scheduled return home for Senators before a massive amnesty bill is scheduled for markup in the Judiciary Committee.



The 844-page bill is a very complex piece of legislation that will overhaul almost every part of our immigration system. If passed, each person in this country would feel its effects including the fiscal costs of an amnesty for most of the 11 million illegal aliens and massive increases in the number of people that will compete with unemployed Americans for jobs on every skill level.



The Senate Judiciary Committee is in charge of the bill's process. Committee Chairman, Patrick Leahy of Vermont, wants this bill to get to the Senate floor ASAP. His committee has held only two hearings this week on the massive bill, cramming in witnesses and only giving a small amount of time to the bill's opponents to voice their concerns. Leahy has scheduled the Committee markup for May 9.



Despite Leahy's impatience, Senator Jeff Sessions has put the mark up process on hold for one week- all the time that is allowed. Since the Senate won't be in session next week, we can expect the mark up to happen Thursday, May 9th.



That means the Senate is likely to vote on the bill before summer!



Have you seen Washington work this quickly EVER? What is in the bill that these Senators want to hide? Why are they so determined to get this bill on the floor without a public discussion?



DEMAND YOUR SENATOR HOLD A TOWN HALL TO DISCUSS THE BIGGEST OVERHAUL OUR IMMIGRATION SYSTEM HAS SEEN IN NEARLY THREE DECADES.



Call you Senators TODAY, TOMORROW, AND FRIDAY until they schedule a town hall or similar public event! Take 5 minutes out of your day so America can get what it deserves - a transparent and open discussion on immigration reform.



Although you may not personally be interested in attending a town hall, there are thousands of other NumbersUSA members in your state who are interested. We need to work together to pressure Senators to hold events and to find out when these town halls are so we can get our voices heard! This is CRUCIAL!!



Do not let your Senators vote for this bill without having to explain it or get your opinion.



The best way to go about requesting a town hall meeting:



1. Call the Capitol Switchboard here: (202) 224-3121 and ask for your Senators.







2. Once on the line with a staffer ask them this: "Does the Senator plan to hold a town hall or similar public forum to hear the opinions of the people in our state on S 744 (the massive immigration reform bill)?"







3. If the answer is yes: Write down the details and send them to me as soon as you can.







4. If the answer is no: "Thank you, I want to officially request for the Senator to have a town hall to discuss the biggest immigration overhaul in almost three decades. I will call back tomorrow to see if he/she puts a town hall on his/her schedule. I will continue to call everyday until the Senator schedules a town hall or similar public event."

Pointers: Don't let the staffers give you the run-around. They are probably going to tell you this: "Whenever the Senator schedules a town hall, it will be up on his/her website." They may also say that "the Senator will send out a press release or an email about the town hall once it is schedule." Senators RARELY do either of these, or they do it hours before the scheduled event. I recommend you nicely thank them for the information but you will still continue to call back everyday until town hall information is given to you.



Please remember to call your Senators at (202) 224-3121 today, tomorrow, and Friday. Continuing to call everyday is the only way we will pressure them.

Conservatism Inc. snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in the 2012 election. And it is even now hastening to make sure the movement it preys upon, and the US, completes slow-motion suicide.

But immigration patriots should take heart from unreported news around the country showing that common sense on mass immigration is emerging as a winning political issue.



In Arizona, despite a brutal Main Stream Media assault, Sheriff Joe Arpaio once again cruised to a re-election victory. Amidst the wailing and lamentations from the likes of the Phoenix New Times (the kind of “independent publication” that reads the same no matter where you are in the country), Arpaio won with 53% of the vote.

Liberal Republican Jeff Flake managed to reinvent himself as a restrictionist, backing Arizona’s SB 1070 law and thereby securing his own election. Of course, John McCain also did the same thing in Arizona in 2010. Immigration patriots will have to watch Flake very closely. But hypocrisy is, proverbially, the homage that vice pays to virtue.

While not a victory in its own right, state Senator Jerry Lewis, the turncoat Republican who provided the essential “respectable conservative” cover for the recall of Russell Pearce, was easily defeated. His Democratic opponent, Ed Ableser, smeared Lewis as a “tea party puppet”-- showing that, even when Republicans stick to MSM-approved issues and attack their own side, they receive no credit.

Other top Treason Lobby targets also survived:



In Iowa, Congressman Steve King overcame a redistricting process that weakened the traditional conservative majority of his Iowa district, and managed to secure reelection with almost 53% of the vote. Liberals smeared Congressman King continuously as a white nationalist for holding such “extreme” positions as questioning diversity and believing English should be the official language. MSM reportorials have already focused on King as an unreconstructed holdout against the conventional wisdom that the GOP should immediately surrender on illegal immigration. King’s solid victory in the face of difficult circumstances strengthens his position in the upcoming amnesty battle. (Note: in perhaps his most disgraceful performance, Romney lost Iowa 52-46, receiving only a 51% white share).

In Pennsylvania, Congressman Lou Barletta cruised to re-election in a former Democratic stronghold that redistricting painted a deeper shade of red.

Significantly, Barletta shows the effectiveness of the “inreach” that could save the GOP, and the historic American nation…if Conservatism Inc. would allow it. Congressional districts do not neatly follow county lines so it is difficult to make a perfect comparison, but Barletta won a greater share of the vote than Mitt Romney in all but one county in his district. The exception: Perry County, where Congressman Barletta took 67.6% of a smaller voting pool, compared to Romney’s 68.6%.

Romney lost Pennsylvania 52-47, receiving only a 42% white share. But in this critical swing state, where Democrats have a one million registered voter advantage, Barletta proves that the Republicans have a potential blue-collar path to victory--if they will take it.



As former Congressman Tom Tancredo has noted, Reps. Matt Salmon of Arizona and Tom Cotton of Arkansas have both been elected. Both candidates used immigration as a centerpiece of their campaigns. Tancredo informed patriots in an email: “Remember those names—I promise you, they are all rising stars.”

Salmon is a former Congressman who has reclaimed now Senator Jeff Flake’s old seat. Cotton is a young Harvard-educated former Army Ranger heavily promoted by the Establishment conservative movement. (NRO's Jay Nordlinger did a four-part series of columns on him.) He has been endorsed by Tancredo and Team America PAC and is saying the right things--but it will be interesting to see how this rookie Congressman will react to the push for amnesty by both Establishment Republicans and Conservatism Inc.



Almost unremarked in the MSM, the South continued its transition to a one-party Republican stronghold. Arkansas is now Republican territory for the first time since Reconstruction: the GOP captured the state Senate and installed a Republican speaker in the House. Republicans also won a supermajority in Tennessee in both chambers of the legislature. And Republicans won another decisive victory in the swing state of North Carolina, where they expanded their majority in the general assembly and won the governor’s race.

In Kansas, Secretary of State Kris Kobach’s endorsed candidates won over half of their races, as the state GOP maintained its majorities and pushed further to the right. Even the Treason Lobby mouthpiece Imagine2050, which sneered that Kobach was somehow hurt by the election, conceded that general view in Kansas was that the patriotic immigration reform community’s rising star had his hand strengthened in the state.

Around the country, most members of State Legislators for Legal Immigration (SLLI), a group of state legislators opposed to illegal immigration, won re-election. Thus Daryl Metcalfe, the current leader of the group, was elected with 100% of the vote, running unopposed.

Another example: Kieran Michael Lalor, an immigration patriot who attracted VDARE.com’s attention particularly because of his eloquent denunciation of New York State Democrats’ use of taxpayer money to help undocumented Democrats through the Obama Administrative Amnesty process (undenounced, needless to say, by Mitt Romney), was elected in New York’s 105^th State Assembly district. Wikipedia’s entry on Lalor (which, curiously, had not been updated at presstime to reflect his election) does report that he published a book, This Recruit, about his experiences going through U.S. Marine Corps basic training in Parris Island.

There was other positive news in referendums from the states.



In Oklahoma, anti-white racial preferences took a hit, with voters approving a ban on Affirmative Action in state government hiring, education, and contracting. The ban passed by 59%-41%.

In Montana, patriotic immigration reformers won a crushing victory when Referendum 121 dramatically restricted certain state services from illegal immigrants, including the ability to acquire state licenses, employment, welfare, or aid for university students.

The Montana ACLU predictably opposed the measure, using the “no human being is illegal” slogan (in Spanish). Some state legislators were also opposed, claiming that referendum 121 somehow was an expansion of government bureaucracy, even though it was an attempt to limit the use of government programs. Montana’s own low-rent $PLC, the “Montana Human Rights Network,” also condemned the measure as a “right wing legislative referenda undermines our shared values of dignity, security, and fairness.”

But Referendum 121 passed with a greater measure of support than any other initiative in the state. Almost 80% of voters in the state voted for it.

Significantly, this far surpassed the less than 55% of voters who supported Mitt Romney--in a state that is supposedly solid red.

Generally, because of the donor-driven decision of the Romney campaign consultants to dial down primary themes like “self-deportation,” immigration played little role in the 2012 general election.

But immigration patriots certainly suffered painful defeats in this election cycle. One of the worst: the referendum passage of the so-called DREAM Act in Maryland, guaranteeing discounted tuition for illegal immigrants while denying it to actual Americans from out of state. (Needless to say, this referendum was a grass-roots initiative, the state GOP having run away).

But the DREAM Act’s margin in the occupied Old Line State was less than President Obama’s margin--only 58% of voters supported the DREAM Act, while Obama won 61.7%. (It should also be noted, amidst the cries for “moderation,” that same -ex marriage only squeaked to victory in Maryland by 4%.)

Immigration patriots should draw three lessons from the 2012 elections.



First, Peter Brimelow and Edwin S. Rubenstein’s 1997 prediction of “electing a new people” is coming true--but it has not taken over the entire country (yet). Conservatism Inc. is rushing to surrender, but some conservative writers are recognizing what patriotic activists have been trying to tell them for decades. This opens up intellectual space for patriotic immigration reformers.

Second, regardless of what the Beltway Right tries this cycle or next, the immigration battle will continue in the states.

Patriotic immigration reformers are winning at the state level and are performing better than the national party as a whole. Unlike tax cuts for billionaires, common-sense immigration reform has the ability to draw Reagan Democrats and split the “progressive” coalition. Regardless of the party line, state legislators want to win. They will continue to pursue this issue as long as they continue to receive pressure (and votes) from their constituents.



Third, and perhaps most important: the transformation of the GOP into the “Generic American Party” is continuing--regardless of what the Beltway Right has to say about it.

In areas of Republican strength, notably the South, the GOP has become the “white party.” There are entire states where every white state elected official is a Republican and every black is a Democrat. [Southern White Democrats Face End of Era in Congress, By Naftali Bendavid, WSJ, August 8, 2012]

Even if the Beltway GOP completely switches sides on amnesty, there is no evidence to suggest that their surrender will do anything to win over minority voters---and it will simply hasten Republican decline.

The good news for patriotic immigration reformers: it is now clear that the only way to create a Republican Party that “can win again” is to focus on “inreach” to the white base, work hard to court working class voters, stand for economic fairness and protection of American jobs, and boldly proclaim an immigration moratorium.

The bad news: Conservatism Inc. would rather lose than be accused of being Politically Incorrect.
