An interesting post from www.NumbersUSA.com about a company undermining a law against ILLEGAL immigration in Indiana. This follows this post about two states that are having immigration battles and this post which shows that there are 30,000 openly illegal immigrants in the border town of El Paso. On a related note, you can read about Miss Kentucky Latina here, an interesting article about Jessica Alba here or another article about Salma Hayek here. Tell Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals to Stop the Pro-Illegal Worker Rhetoric
You can find this fax by proceeding to

You are receiving this special fax opportunity because you indicated on your interests survey that you believe "unfair job competition / wage depression" increases immigration numbers.
Eli Lilly, a major pharmaceuticals company headquartered in Indianapolis, had the following to say about SB 590, piece of legislation in Indiana that would require employers to use E-Verify and make it difficult for illegal aliens to continue to take Indiana jobs:
Our ability to thrive in Indiana is dependent on an environment that is welcoming, and that is now threatened.... Anti-immigration and English-only legislation make it difficult to recruit new and educated workers and retain current employees in our Indiana communities, who simply will not move to and live in a state that is seen as unwelcoming
However, the bill's sponsor, Indiana State Sen. Mike Delph, said the following:
Those businesses that violate the law and benefit from cheap labor need to stop it, or we're going to come after them.... I don't understand why a state that enforces the rule of law is going to hurt legitimate business interests.
Please send a fax to Eli Lilly and let the company know you do not appreciate the way they are opposing the rule of law and standing on the side of illegal aliens.
