Urge your Member of Congress to Co-Sponsor H.R. 3611

A very interesting post from www.FairUS.org about a good immigration bill. This follows this post about John Boehner's Immigration Administrator. REMEMBER, “Amnesty” means ANY non-enforcement of existing immigration laws! This follows this comment and this post about how to Report Illegal Immigrants! For more about what you can do click here and you can read two very interesting books HERE.

Urge your Member of Congress to Co-Sponsor H.R. 3611

Since taking office in 2009, President Barack Obama has used the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to systematically dismantle and undermine federal immigration law. By issuing a series of memos in the name of so-called "prosecutorial discretion," President Obama's DHS has eroded immigration enforcement and forced federal agents to selectively apply our immigration laws only against those the Administration deems a "priority." Consequently, the vast majority of illegal aliens are simply ignored when encountered by Homeland Security.
As a result of these prosecutorial discretion memos (a.k.a. the "Morton Memos"), including President Obama's 2012 DREAM Act amnesty, hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens have been granted the ability to stay in the country and work! In doing so, the Administration has completely circumvented Congress, enforcing immigration laws as President Obama and his special interests would like them to be—not as they actually are written.
To bring transparency to the Administration's abuse of power and help end the President's governance by executive fiat, Congressman Scott Perry (R-PA) has introduced H.R. 3611. This legislation, appropriately titled the "DHS Immigration Accountability and Transparency Act of 2013", would require the DHS Secretary to submit an annual report to Congress on the effects of the Obama Administration's immigration policy memos. Among other things, the report would require DHS to make public statistics regarding the number of illegal aliens allowed to stay and work in the U.S., as well as information regarding the cost of these initiatives to the American people. Moreover, the legislation takes the important step of requiring that any future changes the Administration would like to make to our immigration laws be made through the formal regulatory process, as opposed to little publicized memos quietly placed on DHS' website.
This legislation is more important than ever! The Obama Administration issued two additional memos just last month that would grant even more subsets of the illegal alien population green cards and put them on a path to citizenship.
Several true immigration reformers have already signed on to Rep. Perry's legislation as co-sponsors, including Reps. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Lou Barletta (R-PA), Tom Cotton (R-AK), Phil Gingrey (R-GA), and Lamar Smith (R-TX). Ask your Member in the House of Representatives to join them by co-sponsoring H.R. 3611, the "DHS Immigration Accountability and Transparency Act of 2013" TODAY!
