Obama Budget Plan Steals Veterans' Pensions

| This budget scam raises federal spending for the next two years and allows Obama to keep increasing the deficit. One of the only things that they did manage to cut in the plan is the cost-of-living increase that was promised to our retired vets - the very people who have already sacrificed the most for this country! According to the Daily Mail, the plan cuts the cost-of-living increase for vets by a full percentage point. That may not sound like much, but in the disastrous Obama economy where many of our older vets and seniors are living hand to mouth, it is a tremendous amount. They didn't cut a single dime from Obamacare or the IRS, or from any of the pork-barrel projects that the incumbents love so much. They decided to steal from our veterans instead, and then House Speaker John Boehner and Rep. Paul Ryan looked the American people in the eye and told us this was a "conservative" budget plan as they passed it! The Obama regime even treats illegal aliens, especially those from Muslim countries, better than he treats our veterans! In fact, the estimates for the cost of illegal aliens leaching off our taxpayer welfare benefits has now been revised UPWARD by The Heritage Foundation and is now expected to cost $9.3 trillion over the next 50 years. Obama will gladly spend your tax dollars on illegal aliens while at the same time stealing directly from the benefits that were promised to our vets! Tell the Senate Republicans to REJECT this plan and force the House to go back to the drawing board! You must send your FaxGrams immediately, because the Senate is planning to vote on Tuesday to rip off military veterans' pensions! And remember, our vets were promised those payments. Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:37, "But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one." In other words, keep your promises. | |||

"Thou shall not steal" (Exodus 20:15) applies to governments as well as to men and women. We can't let the politicians get away with stealing from our veterans like this!
The Senate needs to reject this plan and tell the House to start over. They have another month to pass the budget, so there's plenty of time.
