Anti-amnesty phone campaign starts NOW‏

An interesting article from www.NumbersUSA.com about stopping Lame Duck amnesty. This follows this post about defunding executive amnesty.  Remember, “Amnesty” means ANY non-enforcement of existing immigration laws! This follows this comment and this post about how to Report Illegal Immigrants! Also, you can read two very interesting books HERE.
I am leaving TWITTER SOON. Please continue to follow me here.

Anti-amnesty phone campaign starts NOW‏

Massive phone calling into the U.S. Senate needs to start right now to pressure Minority Leader McConnell to move a short-term -- and NOT a long-term -- must-pass spending bill before Christmas.
Yesterday in an alert to you, Roy laid out in great detail why that has to happen during the lame-duck session if we are to stop Pres. Obama's promised executive amnesty before it can be implemented. Simply put, Congress needs to protect its ability to use its power of the purse to defund the President's action.

Call your GOP Senator
We've set up a toll-free number that will connect you to the Capitol Switchboard. When the operator answers, simply ask for your GOP Senator's office (see list below).
Once connected to the Senate office, use one or more of the following talking points.
Tell the staffer on the phone to tell your GOP Senator:

  • Don't give away your power of the purse to defund Obama's amnesty.
  • Insist on a SHORT-TERM SPENDING BILL.
  • Reject any long-term spending bill that takes away your ability to stop an executive amnesty early next year.

CALL TOLL-FREE -- 888-995-1975

Tell the staffer on the phone that you want your Senator to make those same demands on Minority Leader McConnell.
Your call can be that simple and that quick.

Unfortunately, as I write this, GOP Leaders like Speaker Boehner and Senate Minority Leader McConnell are working behind the scenes on a long-term spending bill that would fund the government through September of next year. If we don't stop them, Pres. Obama will be able to move unabated with his plan to give work permits to millions of illegal aliens, with Congress unable to defund until next October.
Even many previous supporters of comprehensive amnesty are agreeing with the things we are asking you to say to your Representative.
After last week's midterm elections, GOP consultant, Karl Rove, who has personally pushed for amnesty in the past, said the Party needs to put "riders on appropriations bills that say no money shall be spent to execute this policy." Even RNC Chairman, Reince Priebus said, "we will do everything we can to make sure it doesn't happen."
It's time for the Republican Party to make good on its campaign promises and protect American wage-earners by setting up the next Congress to stop Pres. Obama's executive amnesty!
we need you to take action today! Please call your GOP Senator and tell him/her to oppose a long-term spending bill and, instead, support a short-term bill, so the new Congress can defund Pres. Obama's executive amnesty.
Thank you for your activism!
