Number of mosques in U.S. nearly doubles since 9/11

A very interesting post from http://www.jihadwatch.or/ about the dramatic increase in mosques in the United States. This follows this post about the Al-Qaeda presence in Syria, which is Iran's ally. This follows this post about Ray LaHood's son being detained in Egypt. This follows this article about American energy independence and preventing money from going to hostile countries such as Iran and Venezuela. Number of mosques in U.S. nearly doubles since 9/11

Judging from the mainstream media coverage and the hysterical "Islamophobia" propaganda that the Left and Islamic supremacists are pumping out by the pound, one would think that the number of mosques in the U.S. had actually decreased since 9/11, that mosque builders were routinely confronted by peasants with pitchforks, that pious and soft-spoken Muslims were herded onto the back of the bus, forced to eat at segregated lunch counters, etc.

In reality, Muslims in the U.S. are flourishing. 9/11 was a great victory for Islamic supremacists, because they were able to use it to portray all opposition to Muslim Brotherhood mosques and Sharia initiatives in the U.S. as "backlash" and "Islamophobia," and clueless dhimmis who were anxious to show they weren't "racist" or "bigoted" fell into line. Free people in a few cities opposed Muslim Brotherhood mosques, as well they should have. But they were demonized and marginalized, and mosque construction proceeded apace.

And what could go wrong? In recent years we have seen mosques used to preach hatred; to spread exhortations to terrorist activity; to house a bomb factory; to store weapons; to disseminate messages from bin Laden; to demand (in the U.S.) that non-Muslims conform to Islamic dietary restrictions; to fire on American troops; to fire upon Indian troops; to train jihadists; and so we know they're places of peace, and anyone who suggests otherwise is a greasy Islamophobe.

And meanwhile: "A random survey of 100 representative mosques in the U.S. was conducted to measure the correlation between Sharia adherence and dogma calling for violence against non-believers. Of the 100 mosques surveyed, 51% had texts on site rated as severely advocating violence; 30% had texts rated as moderately advocating violence; and 19% had no violent texts at all. Mosques that presented as Sharia adherent were more likely to feature violence-positive texts on site than were their non-Sharia-adherent counterparts. In 84.5% of the mosques, the imam recommended studying violence-positive texts. The leadership at Sharia-adherent mosques was more likely to recommend that a worshiper study violence-positive texts than leadership at non-Sharia-adherent mosques. Fifty-eight percent of the mosques invited guest imams known to promote violent jihad. The leadership of mosques that featured violence-positive literature was more likely to invite guest imams who were known to promote violent jihad than was the leadership of mosques that did not feature violence-positive literature on mosque premises."

That means that around 1,700 mosques in the U.S. are preaching hatred of infidels and justifying violence against them. As Pamela Geller asks: "You think there will never be any consequences of that?"

"US Muslim study finds jump in American mosques," from Associated Press, February 29 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

NEW YORK — The number of American mosques has increased dramatically in the last decade despite post 9/11 protests aimed at Muslim houses of worship, according to a new study. The new Islamic centers serve Muslims who moved into the suburbs and newer immigrants from Africa, Iraq and elsewhere.

Researchers conducting the national count found a total of 2,106 Islamic centers, compared to 1,209 in 2000 and 962 in 1994. About one-quarter of the centers were built between 2000-2011, as the community faced intense scrutiny by government officials and a suspicious public. In 2010, protest against an Islamic center near ground zero erupted into a national debate over Islam, extremism and religious freedom. Anti-mosque demonstrations spread to Tennessee, California and other states.

Ihsan Bagby, a professor at the University of Kentucky and lead author of the study, said the findings show Muslims are carving out a place for themselves despite the backlash....

What backlash?

Informed rational freedom loving people have all the reasons in the world to fear islam. The twin fogs of political correctness & ignorance must be dispersed before western society better understands this menace. Even a brief review of islamic theology & history quickly exposes the deadly roots of this evil ideology.

More mosques = more trouble. Muslims do not assimilate into western society because islam is a theocracy and demands supremacy. There is no radical, moderate, hijacked or any other nuanced semanticism type of islam. there is only islam which is based on the life of a murdering 7th century warlord.

Mohamhead was a 7th century murdering warlord who rose to power on a river of blood surrounded by thugs and gangsters using intimidation, violence, deception and trickery to expand their criminal empire while mercilessly suppressing and killing their opponents and enriching themselves on stolen booty.

The evil koran is a collection of sayings and speeches by this diabolical madman claiming divine guidance from some mythical sky-god which has inspired generations of crazed fanatics to abhorrent behavior resulting in historys worst ever crimes against humanity starting 1400 years ago and still continuing even today.

Islam is just another fascist totalitarian ideology used by power hungry fanatics on yet another quest for worldwide domination and includes all the usual human rights abuses & suppression of freedoms.
