Stand up to forced unionism‏

A very interesting post from http://www.westernpac.org/ about forced unionism. This follows this post about taxpayer money going to failing businesses. This follows this previous article about encouraging American energy independence. This is a key issue to prevent money from going to hostile countries such as Iran  and Venezuela. For more that you can do to get involved click HERE and you can read a very interesting book HERE!

Stand up to forced unionism‏

Dear Patriot,

Most of our supporters do not live in New Hampshire, and we know that it may not be obvious on the surface how important an upcoming vote to override a governor’s veto of right-to-work legislation is to every American. Several states are considering similar legislation, though, and the outcome in New Hampshire will either embolden these states to stand against forced unionism, or discourage them from taking control of the future.

Forced unionism does not create jobs nor does it save jobs. The only beneficiaries are the union bosses and the liberal politicians they support through the forced collection of union dues. The only way we can return our nation to the greatness we all know we can achieve is to remove the shackles that modern unionism places on the marketplace and allow workers to decide if they are receiving value from union membership. It will also force unions to provide a real value to their members to survive.

In states that require union membership as a condition of employment, a worker can be fired for not joining the union. Workers are forced to support issues and candidates they do not agree with because once the union has their money, the worker has no right to dissent regarding the agenda of the union bosses.

With a strong Republican majority, this fight should be a no-brainer for the New Hampshire legislature. Unfortunately, there are a few who fear that voting against the unions will hurt their chances of reelection, and they are afraid to do what is best for their constituents. We need to help them find the courage to do the right thing and are working with several local groups to ramp up the pressure.

If you have already contributed, we thank you for your support and understanding of this important issue. With nearly 200,000 supporters, if those of you that can afford to give just $5, $10 or more, we will be able to raise the rest of the funds we need to reign in union corruption and help our fellow Americans in New Hampshire say no to forced unionism. Together, we will send the message to other states that they can do the same. You can make a stand against forced unionism by making a contribution –HERE--

Sincerely,
