Tell Governor to Call Another Special Session on Anti-Sanctuary/In-State Tuition Legislation

An urgent post from http://www.numbersusa.com/ about immigration enforcement in Texas that could make Rick Perry a much better candidate. This follows this post about E-Verify and why the GOP needs to support it. This follows this post about immigration amnesty laws in California. This follows this post about how to Report Illegal Immigrants such as the 30,000 openly illegal immigrants in the border town of El Paso, where President Barack Obama recently bashed immigration enforcement! For more that you can do to get involved click HERE and you can read a very interesting book HERE!

And Remember when contacting public officials to please be firm but respectful. Any over the top messages could result in law enforcement action against you. Just let these politicians know that you are aware of what they have done and that you intend to remove them from office in the 2012 elections.

Tell Governor to Call Another Special Session on Anti-Sanctuary/In-State Tuition Legislation

Dear activist,

The Immigration Reform Coalition of Texas in conjunction with Texas Tea Party groups is calling on Gov. Rick Perry to hold another special legislative session on immigration enforcement. In particular, they want the governor to call up the anti-sanctuary legislation he deemed an emergency earlier this year. A student organization at Perry’s alma mater, Texas A&M University, also wants a special session to end in-state tuition rates for illegal aliens.

Although Gov. Perry is running for president, that does not mean he can ignore the needs of Texans. In addition, putting pressure on him at home could prompt him to adopt a stronger pro-enforcement stance in his campaign.

Please ask Gov. Perry to call another special session to pass anti-sanctuary legislation and a bill repealing in-state tuition access for illegal aliens.

Please call and email him with the message:

“I support recent calls for another special legislative session on immigration enforcement. We need to pass the anti-sanctuary legislation you deemed an emergency and repeal in-state tuition subsidies for illegal aliens.

You can’t ignore the needs of Texans while you run for president. In fact, showing leadership at the state level can only help your campaign.”
