If the GOP DOESN'T shut down the government over atrocities like Planned Parenthood organ harvesting and executive orders, or only shuts it down for a few weeks, this could be an existential threat to the GOP itself and could lead to its ultimate downfall since the GOP would be perceived as not having any prinicples, thus leading to the rise of a new party, and one candidate has positioned himself well for this possibility.
