Editorial: The Middle East as a distraction?

The case can be made that the news focus on the Middle East is a distraction from the domestic problems from uncontrolled immigration and religious liberty for Christians. The Middle East is a problem region, and there is martyrdom happening there. However, there are also domestic issues including immigration from Muslim countries which is also causing a restriciton of religious liberties for Christians in the U.S.
