Ask your Representative to take a minute to read the letter and pledge their support for the investigation and defunding of Planned Parenthood.

An interesting story from http://www.sba-list.org/  about Planned Parenthood. This follows this post about Nancy Pelosi bashing her fellow Catholics.  For more that you can do to get involved click  HERE and you can also get a very interesting book HERE!

Ask your Representative to take a minute to read the letter and pledge their support for the investigation and defunding of Planned Parenthood.

Few testimonies are as effective at exposing the lies of the abortion industry then those given by former abortion industry employees themselves. From former abortionist (and founder of NARAL) Bernard Nathanson to former Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson, the witness of a former abortion industry employee is powerful.

That’s why I’m so excited to share the news with you that seven converts to the cause— all former employees of Planned Parenthood— have signed a letter to Congress in support of the investigation of their former employer launched by Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL).

I need your help to make sure the letter has the biggest possible impact as possible on Capitol Hill.

Simply ask your Representative to take a minute to read the letter and pledge their support for the investigation and defunding of Planned Parenthood.

By now, most of us have heard the incredible conversion story of pro-life activist, Abby Johnson. Abby had already begun to question her work at Planned Parenthood, but it was after watching an ultrasound-guided abortion and seeing the murder of an innocent human being with her own eyes that she quit her job at Planned Parenthood and began to speak out for Life.

The testimony of Abby and others inspired more former Planned Parenthood employees to come out from the shadows. Catherine Adair, who used to work for Planned Parenthood in Boston is also now an outspoken advocate for unborn children and their mothers. And Dr. Patti Giebink, a former abortionist at Planned Parenthood, now proudly works to protect innocent human life in her home state of South Dakota.

These brave women know the truth: Planned Parenthood is an abortion-centered, profit-driven business that sees only dollar signs when vulnerable women walk through their doors. They know it’s time to stop taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood and get taxpayers out of the abortion business, which is why they are eager to support the investigation launched by Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL).

Stand with them and Take Action: Urge your Representative to read the letter signed by former employees of Planned Parenthood and tell them to support the investigation.

In the letter, the seven former employees say that one or more of them are prepared to testify to incidents they have witnessed in which an employee or affiliate of Planned Parenthood failed to:

Properly account for and maintain separation between government funds prohibited from use for elective abortions and those funds derived from other sources that are not subject to such limitations;

Notify parents when a vulnerable girl is seeking an abortion, including instances when the minor girl is the victim of an act of statutory rape under applicable state law;

Provide a woman undergoing an abortion with accurate and relevant information regarding the stage of her pregnancy, including the opportunity to view ultrasound imagery that may have made a profound impact on her decision to undergo an abortion;

Detect and act upon instances where a girl or woman was brought to the clinic under some degree of coercion, up to and including instances where the girl or woman was subjected to human trafficking and was a victim of crime;

Engage in appropriate financial controls and billing practices to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws.

as you can see, the investigation of Planned Parenthood is long overdue.

We must do everything we can to use this appropriate step in congressional oversight to expose Planned Parenthood for what it is: a business centered on abortion and a willing ally to those who seek to exploit vulnerable women.

 Urge your Representative to read the letter signed by former employees of Planned Parenthood and tell them to support the investigation.

I look forward to keeping you updated with the investigation and can’t thank you enough for everything you do to protect Life.
