The Occupy Wall Street movement gets a second life today. But what's it all about?

[Darris McNeely] If you’ve been confused about the Occupy Wall Street Movement, so have I and so have a lot of other people. It reminds of being snake bit—seeing all of these protests across the United States and other world capitals against the world economic financial condition.

[Steve Myers] Well, it certainly reminds you of how do we fix our problems? You know, people come up with all kinds of solutions and the latest one is protesting and violence in many cases. So, is that what solves our problems? Is that really where it’s at?

[Darris McNeely] Well, you know, Steve, they drove them out of Zuccotti Park in New York earlier this week and today they’re threatening to come back in by the tens of thousands and maybe getting a second life it seems with this protest movement. And, again, are they…There’s even confusion about the goals that they have and what they actually want to do…some want to bring down the whole economic system, whole system of capitalism.

[Steve Myers] It’s interesting, some of the goals, are they good? Some of the things I’ve heard, yeah. Is man's system working in some ways? Yeah.

[Darris McNeely] There are problems.

[Steve Myers] But in other ways there are problems.

[Darris McNeely] And we know now this has come three years after the near collapse of Wall Street and the entire American and world financial system that has been tried to be put back on track, yet there has been recessions that have kept it from really operating and coming back with all engines operating. And we’re still in the middle of a mess and that seems to be fueling this. This seems to be a symptom of larger problems.

[Steve Myers] Boy, is it ever. Absolutely.

[Darris McNeely] It reminds me of the story you told in a Beyond Today program recently that we did of the canary in the coal mine that starts to sing when the gases get a little bit too high. This is a symptom of something bigger. That, um, just won’t go away.

[Steve Myers] And where do you look? Are we looking to Wall Street to solve our problems or do you take down Wall Street so we can solve our problems. Or is there a different place that we need to look?

[Darris McNeely] Well, the problem is in leadership. The problem is in some workable solutions. It reminds me of a scripture in the book of Amos, where the prophet Amos talks about conditions at the time of the end. People are told there that they will flee from a lion, and run into a bear. They will run into a house and put their hand against a wall and get bit by a snake (Amos 5:18-20 [18] Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

[19] As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

[20] Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

See All...). Everywhere they turn, they don’t find solutions, they find bigger problems.

[Steve Myers] That’s right

[Darris McNeely] And I think that’s where we are right now.

[Steve Myers] Are we solving our own problems? I think that scripture points it out. As long as we keep looking to ourselves we’re going to be snake bit. We’re going to run into a bear. We’re going to run into a lion. So are we looking to God for the solution? Proverbs says that we look to God. He knows how to direct our steps (Proverbs 3:5-8 [5] Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

[6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

[7] Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

[8] It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

See All...).

DEBUNKING OBAMA’S TAX DEMAGOGERY

A very interesting post from http://www.dickmorris.com/ about the Taxes in the Jobs Bill. This follows this post about Occupy Wall Street.  This follows this previous article about it to encourage American energy independence. This is a key issue to prevent money from going to hostile countries such as Iran  and Venezuela. For more that you can do to get involved click HERE and you can read a very interesting book  HERE!

DEBUNKING OBAMA’S TAX DEMAGOGERY

When President Obama says that the rich don’t pay their share of taxes, he is lying, distorting, and demagoging.

Here are the facts according to the IRS:

• Those making more than $1 million pay 24% of income in taxes

• Those making $200,000 to $300,000 pay 17.5%

• Those making $100,000 to $125,000 pay 9.9%

• Those making $50,000 to $60,000 pay 6.3%

• Those making $20,000 to $30,000 pay 2.5%

And what of millionaires who pay no taxes?

There are 1,470 of them. They represent six-tenths of one percent of all those with million dollar incomes in the U.S. If we assume that they make an average income of $2 million a year each, taxing them at the same rate as other millionaires (24.4%) would yield $367 million, which would increase Treasury income tax revenues by 30 one-hundredths of one percent or one-third of one-tenth of one percent!

Overall, the IRS reports that the revenues from the income tax are sharply skewed toward taxes on the rich:

• The top 1% pays 39%

• The top 5% pays 60%

• The top 10% pays 72%

• The bottom half pays 3%

So who does Obama think he is kidding?

Van Jones Should Not Get a Pass With an Apology. Barack Obama Should Not Get A Pass by Throwing Him Under the Bus

A timely tip from www.redstate.com about the Van Jones resignation!

Van Jones Should Not Get a Pass With an Apology. Barack Obama Should Not Get A Pass by Throwing Him Under the Bus

It is objectively clear that Van Jones is a 9/11 Truther.
I’m also hearing that many in D.C. expect Jones is on his way out and it might come as soon as 5:00 p.m. today — the start of a 3 day weekend with the President out of town so it can all blow over.
Despite Van Jones’ name appearing on a 9/11 Truther petition in 2004, Jones denies any knowledge of the events.
Even though Jones denies any knowledge of the events and failed to demand a retraction, he apologized for the same events.
However, the organization that put together the petition says this is nonsense. Van Jones gave permission to be the petition.
Mike Berger, a spokesman for 911Truth.org, told the Washington Times over the phone that all of the signers had been verified by their group. He said 9/11Truth.org board members “spoke with each person on the list by phone or through email to individually confirm they had added their name to that list.”
The White House, backing off, now says Jones did not “carefully review” the 9/11 truther petition. This is just like Jones not carefully reviewing the fact that he was giving prisoners green jobs with taxpayer dollars.
But there is more to it.
On January 8, 2002, Van Jones participated in a March to demand the truth about 9/11. The march was heavily connected with people who believe 9/11 was an inside job.
There is, however, a greater question: who signed off on a 9/11 truther to work in the White House? Given that he made office statements as recently as a month or two before he started his job, you’d think someone had to give him a pass despite what the vetters found out.

Who did that?
