Does The Constitution Still Matter Today?‏

A very interesting post from http://www.redstate.com/ about Constituion Day, September 17, when you should fly the AMERICAN flag. This follows this post about the special election in NY-9, Anthony Weiner's old seat.  This follows this post about the House GOP's communication problem and this article about  the recent news about ending the ban on offshore drilling which would encourage American energy independence This is a key issue to prevent money from going to hostile countries such as Iran  and Venezuela. For more that you can do to get involved click HERE and you can read the very interesting book that is shown HERE!

Does the Constitution still matter today?

For years, liberals have benefited from Americans’ limited knowledge of the Constitution– and now is the time to put a stop to it and restore respect now.

Take this short quiz and see if you can answer questions about what is written in the Founding Document. Then pass it on to your friends and family.

As President Ronald Reagan's Attorney General, I have seen how activist judges, the mainstream media and even elected officials attempt to make our Founding Document irrelevant in order to usher in their big government social welfare state.

Constitution Day is this Saturday. It’s the perfect time to remind our fellow citizens that one of the surest ways to protect our freedoms is to restore respect for one of the most important documents ever written. Let’s send a message loud and clear that the Constitution still matters in America.

It’s time to stop the Left’s assault on the Constitution and our freedoms. Take the quiz now.

I hope you will stand with me and help restore respect now for the Constitution.

Thank You.

Sincerely,

The Honorable Edwin Meese, III

Former United States Attorney General,

Ronald Reagan Distinguished Fellow in Public Policy,

Chairman of the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies,
