FBI can’t confirm that hate letters sent to mosques actually came from outside Muslim community

A timely post about from www.jihadwatch.org about "hate crimes" against Muslims. This follows this post about Steve Bannon and Keith Ellison. This follows this post about Hillary Clinton's loss. This follows this article about American energy independence and preventing money from going to hostile countries. FBI can’t confirm that hate letters sent to mosques actually came from outside Muslim community

“The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) could not, however, confirm that the letters actually came from outside the community, or that they were not a prank.”
As I explained here, there is plenty of reason to doubt that these letters are genuine. They are much more likely to be part of Muslim groups’ in the U.S. never-ending quest for protected victim status.
fbi-hate-letter-press-conf
“FBI, LAPD Cannot Confirm Anti-Muslim Letters as ‘Hate Crime,’” by Joel B. Pollak, Breitbart, November 28, 2016:
LOS ANGELES — Law enforcement officials gathered with local Muslim leaders at the Islamic Center of Southern California to respond to threatening letters that had been sent to several mosques in the state.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) could not, however, confirm that the letters actually came from outside the community, or that they were not a prank. And the Los Angeles Police Department said that the letters were being investigated as a “hate incident,” not a “hate crime,” because there was no specific, immediate threat.
Stephen Woolery, FBI Special Agent in Charge of the Counterterrorism Division in Los Angeles, said that at least five letters were received by Islamic institutions in California. Letters were received in San Jose, Northridge, Claremont, Signal Hill, and Los Angeles. He added that there was possibly one more letter that had been received outside the state, possibly in Georgia.
One letter, widely circulated in the media, read, in part: “You Muslims are a vile and filthy people … There’s a new sheriff in town — President Donald Trump. He’s going to cleanse America … He’s going to do to you Muslims what Hitler did to the Jews.”
The language of each of the letters was similar, officials said. They did not contain a specific threat of violence….
Local Muslim leaders at the press conference, which involved both local and international media, invited the author or authors of the letter to have a frank discussion about faith. “We want this to be out in the open, in broad daylight. Bullies feel emboldened in dark alleys.
Dr. Sayed Moustafa al-Qazwini, the president of the Shia Muslim Council of Southern California, said: “We stand against hate crime and against terrorism.” He advised members of the community to go about their normal activities.
Another Muslim leader responded to a suspected terror attack earlier in the day at Ohio State, where several people were injured in an attack, apparently carried out by a Muslim immigrant from Somalia, involving a car and knives.
“The problem comes when we politicize one incident over others … when the reality is, it’s just violence,” he said….
In other words, ignore the motivating ideology behind jihad terror attacks.
[Woolery] said that the FBI had wanted to participate in the press conference, despite the lack of an investigation, “to be visible, strong partners with our community. Our role is to monitor the situation … making sure there is no threat.”
“It was important for us to be here to demonstrate that partnership, because I think that’s important to the community.”

Clock Boy Ahmed Mohamed files defamation suit against conservative media

A timely post about from www.jihadwatch.org about "Clock Boy." This follows this post about Islamophobia. This follows this article about American energy independence and preventing money from going to hostile countries. For more, you can read two very interesting books HERE.You can follow me here.

Clock Boy Ahmed Mohamed files defamation suit against conservative media

As the Washington Post noted at the height of the controversy over his “clock,” Ahmed was showered with support from “Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton and Google co-founder Sergey Brin,” while “Tweets, think pieces and daytime TV segments were dedicated to dissecting how Ahmed’s situation typified racism and Islamaphobia [sic] in America,” and he “visited the Google Science Fair, met with Sudan’s President Omar al Bashir, posed with the queen of Jordan at a United Nations Summit, appeared on the ‘Doctor Oz’ show and last night, made it to the White House.”
Ahmed Mohamed became the darling of the political and media elites and met Obama. He was celebrated everywhere as an innocent victim of “Islamophobia.”
He became an international hero. Yet now he claims to have been “defamed,” and has filed suit. This lawsuit is a naked attempt to continue the intimidation efforts that his clock represented. His clock, which looked like a suitcase bomb, was a strike against the dictum “If you see something, say something”: after Ahmed’s clock, school officials and others will think twice before committing career suicide by questioning suspicious behavior by Muslims. And now Ahmed and his family are moving in for the kill, trying to intimidate people into not even daring to criticize Muslims who engage in these intimidation tactics, for fear of being slapped with a lawsuit.
Mohamed Elhassan Ahmed Mohamed
“Clock Kid Ahmed Mohamed Files Defamation Suit Against Conservative Media,” Huffington Post, September 27, 2016 (thanks to Pamela Geller):
The father of Ahmed Mohamed, the Muslim American teenager from Irving, Texas, who was arrested last year after officials thought the homemade clock he brought to school was a bomb, is suing the city’s mayor and a host of media outlets for defamation, local media reported.
A lawsuit filed Monday in Dallas County Court by Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed, obtained by the NBC affiliate, names as defendants Mayor Beth Van Duyne and an array of conservative media outlets and personalities, including The Blaze; Glenn Beck; the Center for Security Policy; Jim Hanson, Fox Television Stations; Ben Ferguson; and Ben Shapiro.
The 21-page suit cites incidents involving news personalities making what it contends are false or defamatory statements about the teen.
Mohamed, a robotics fan, modified a pencil case to function as a clock and brought it to school last year with hopes of impressing his teacher. School officials accused him of trying “to make a bomb,” pulled him out of class, sent him to the principal’s office, threatened him with expulsion and had him escorted out of the school in handcuffs.
Among the incidents mentioned in the lawsuit is a segment that aired on The Blaze last September featuring host Beck discussing the teen’s arrest with guests Van Duyne and Hanson, the executive vice president of the Center for Security Policy. Beck and Hanson theorized that Islamist extremists or the Mohamed family may have directed the teen to bring the clock to school as a stunt. Van Duyne, the suit adds, did not object to or correct those comments and has continued to refer to the clock as a “hoax bomb.”
The suit references similar incidents with Fox News hosts Ferguson and Shapiro. It demands that all defendants retract their comments and apologize on the air.
Mohamed’s family filed another lawsuit last month against the the school district, the principal of the high school and the city of Irving, alleging that his civil rights were violated….

Does the Koran Promote Peace and Cooperation?

An interesting article from http://www.ucg.org/ about the Koran (Quran). This follows this post about Apple Computers. This follows this post about Zika. For a free magazine subscription or to get the books recommended for free click HERE! or call 1-888-886- 8632.

All are quoted from the Dawood translation of the Koran.
• “Fight against them until idolatry [worship of any god other than Allah] is no more and [Allah's] religion [Islam] reigns supreme” (Sura 2:193).
• “Let those who would exchange the life of this world for the hereafter, fight for the cause of [Allah]; whoever fights for the cause of [Allah], whether he dies or triumphs, on him we shall bestow a rich recompense . . . The true believers fight for the cause of [Allah], but the infidels fight for the devil. Fight then against the friends of Satan” (Sura 4:74-76).
• “Those that make war against Allah and His apostle [Muhammad] and spread disorder in the land shall be slain or crucified or have their hands and feet cut off on alternate sides, or be banished from the land. They shall be held up to shame in this world and sternly punished in the hereafter” (Sura 5:33).
• “Believers, take neither Jews nor the Christians for your friends. They are friends with one another. Whoever of you seeks their friendship becomes one of their number. [Allah] does not guide the wrongdoers” (Sura 5:51).
• “[Allah] revealed His will to the angels, saying: 'I shall be with you. Give courage to the believers. I shall cast terror into the hearts of the infidels. Strike off their heads, strike off the very tips of their fingers!' That was because they defied [Allah] and His apostle [Muhammad]. He that defies [Allah] and His apostle shall be sternly punished by [Allah]” (Sura 8:12-13).
• “[Allah] will separate the wicked from the just. He will heap all the wicked [i.e. non-Muslims] one upon another and cast them into Hell. These will surely be the losers” (Sura 8:37).
• “Let not the unbelievers [non-Muslims] think that they will ever get away. Muster against them all the men and cavalry at your command, so that you may strike terror into the enemy of [Allah] and your enemy, and others besides them who are unknown to you but known to [Allah]” (Sura 8:59-60).
• “Prophet, rouse the faithful to arms. If there are twenty steadfast men among you, they shall vanquish two hundred; and if there are a hundred, they shall rout a thousand unbelievers, for they are devoid of understanding” (Sura 8:65).
• “A prophet may not take captives until he has fought and triumphed in the land” (Sura 8:67).
• “Make war on them. [Allah] will chastise them at your hands and humble them” (Sura 9:14).
• “Believers, why is it that when you are told: 'March in the cause of [Allah],' you linger slothfully in the land? Are you content with this life in preference to the life to come? Few indeed are the blessings of this life, compared with those of the life to come. If you do not go to war, He will punish you sternly, and will replace you by other men . . . March on and fight for the cause of [Allah], with your wealth and with your persons” (Sura 9:38-41).
• “Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home: an evil fate” (Sura 9:73).
• “They [faithful Muslims] will fight for the cause of [Allah], they will slay and be slain” (Sura 9:111).
• “Believers, make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Deal firmly with them. Know that [Allah] is with the righteous” (Sura 9:123).
• “When We resolve to raze a city, We first give warning to those of its people who live in comfort. If they persist in sin, judgment is irrevocably passed, and We destroy it utterly” (Sura 17:16).
• “We have destroyed many a sinful nation and replaced them by other men. And when they felt Our might they took to their heels and fled. They were told: 'Do not run away. Return to your comforts and to your dwellings. You shall be questioned all.' 'Woe betide us, we have done wrong' was their reply. And this they kept repeating until We mowed them down and put out their light” (Sura 21:11-15).
• “When you meet the unbelievers on the battlefield strike off their heads and, when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly. Then grant them their freedom or take a ransom from them, until war shall lay down her burdens” (Sura 47:4).
• “Mohammed is [Allah's] apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another” (Sura 48:29).
• “It is He [Allah] who has sent forth His apostle [Muhammad] with guidance and the True Faith [Islam], so that he may exalt it above all religions, much as the idolaters [those who worship gods other than Allah] may dislike it” (Sura 61:9).

Clinton Removes The Mask—Goes Full Merkel On Immigration

An interesting article from http://www.vdare.com about Hillary Clinton's immigration position. This follows this post about the H-2B Visas in the Appropriations Budget. Remember, “Amnesty” means ANY non-enforcement of existing immigration laws! This follows this comment and this post about how to Report Illegal Immigrants! Clinton Removes The Mask—Goes Full Merkel On Immigration

VDARE.com Editor Peter Brimelow recently gave a talk entitled It Will Only Take One Election”—The Trump Tsunami vs. Clinton’s Coming Merkel-Style Immigration Surge. That Hillary Clinton is indeed planning a Merkel-type surge has just been confirmed by her latest op-ed on the topic “Immigration needs reform, not Trump’s bigotry [Arizona Republic, June 24, 2016]. Here, Clinton has removed the mask, not even pretending to care about the interests of Americans.  Even for Democrats, this is a, an ominous, new development.
Until recently, most Democratic politicians at least feigned interest in border security and the interests of Americans when discussing immigration.  Thus just three years ago, Barack Obama’s principles on immigration principles included “Continue to Strengthen Our Borders” and “Crackdown on Employers who Hire Undocumented Workers.”  Obama even described Amnesty with euphemisms, claiming it meant “that everyone play by the same rules, including passing a background check, and paying taxes and a penalty”. [Comprehensive Immigration Reform, Organizing for America]
And that was nothing compared to Hillary Clinton a decade ago. The she said “I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants” and “[p]eople have to stop employing illegal immigrants…I mean, come up to Westchester, go to Suffolk and Nassau counties, stand on the street corners in Brooklyn or the Bronx. You’re going to see loads of people waiting to get picked up to go do yard work and construction work and domestic work.” [Hillary goes conservative on immigration, Washington Times, December 13, 2004].
Clinton and Obama obviously were never serious about border security or cracking down on employers. But it’s significant that they felt it was politically expedient to pretend they were.
Much of Clinton’s latest op-ed is open borders boilerplate.  It opens with an anecdote about a seemingly sympathetic illegal alien family with an Anchor Baby afraid of her mother being deported.  It uses cliches like “instead of building walls, we ought to be breaking down barriers” and “we have always been a nation of immigrants.” It accuses of Donald Trump of “scapegoat[ing],” “bigotry,” and “fear mongering.”
However, what is remarkable is what Clinton does not include.  Beyond a short paragraph claiming that “immigration reform” a.k.a. Amnesty would help the economy, she does not make any claim about immigration even remotely benefiting Americans.  Nor does she mention border security or enforcement once—not even to say that the border is already secure or that amnesty will enable the ICE to focus on the gang members and terrorists.
Typical Democratic platforms call for increased enforcement and border security tied to conditional amnesty and vague legal immigration reform. But Hillary Clinton’s three steps are–all of which she plans to do unilaterally—are:
  • Let’s focus on families.” Clinton makes clear this means reducing enforcement, specifically “ending large-scale raids, ending the practice of family detention and shutting down private detention facilities.”
  • “Increase our focus on integration.” This, of course, does not mean ending bilingualism and cutting immigration to give those here a chance to assimilate.  Rather she vows to create an “Office of Immigrant Affairs,” which she will no doubt staff with La Raza ethnic activists.
  • Help the 9 million people in our country who are currently eligible for naturalization become full citizens. This means granting fee waivers and outreach to ensure the permanent residents who have not filed for citizenship, because “no one should miss out on the chance to be a citizen.”
Of course, anyone who is “currently eligible” for naturalization already has “the chance to be a citizen.”  It’s just that these supposedly patriotic immigrants have no interest in becoming Americans: permanent residency status already gives them access to welfare and/or legal employment.  It costs just $585-680 to apply for citizenship. Furthermore, there are (unfortunately) already fee waivers for those on welfare or 150% below the poverty line). Anyone who is too poor to afford this will be a further drain on our resources. Anyone who is unwilling to pay it does not value citizenship.
In addition, Clinton calls for “a path to full and equal citizenship.”  Of particular note, she does not stipulate that criminals or terrorists should not get citizenship.  (Serious crimes are a bar to citizenship, and terrorists can’t even be admitted to the US. )
Perhaps because she focused on her unilateral actions, Clinton did not mention legal immigration. (Some immigration attorneys suggested Obama could increase legal immigration through Executive Order, and the Obama administration hinted at this idea, but this proved to be even a political and/or legal bridge too far for the creative minds in the Obama Administration.  [See Why We Can’t Wait: How President Obama Can Erase Immigrant Visa Backlogs with the Stroke of A Pen, by Gary Endelman and Cyrus Mehta, Immigration Daily, 2012; and  W.H. meets big biz on immigration, by Anna Palmer, Politico, August 19, 2014]).  However, Clinton has a long record of supporting massive increases in legal immigration.
Clinton’s Arizona Republic Op-ed is largely consistent with her campaign platform, which highlights that she will
  • “Enact comprehensive immigration reform to create a pathway to citizenship, keep families together, and enable millions of workers to come out of the shadows.”
  • “Defend President Obama’s executive actions to provide deportation relief for DREAMers and parents of Americans and lawful residents, and extend those actions to additional persons with sympathetic cases if Congress refuses to act.”
  • “Promote naturalization and support immigrant integration.”
  • “End family detention and close private immigrant detention centers.”
But Clinton’s platform at least gives brief lip service to an Amnesty that “upholds the rule of law, protects our borders and national security” [Immigration reform, Hillary for America]
When Hillary Clinton began preparing for her first presidential run, the New York Times noted her conservative posturing on immigration led “Republicans to predict that she would position herself to the right of even President Bush on illegal immigration. The conservative commentator Tony Blankley called her remarks ‘Pat Buchanan-esque’” [The Evolution of Hillary Clinton, by Raymond Hernandez & Patrick Healy, July 13, 2005]
What a difference a decade makes.  With Donald Trump’s hardline on immigration and Bernie defeated, Clinton could easily take relatively restrictionist positions on immigration without worrying about losing the La Raza crowd.
But what this op-ed reinforces is that Clinton is either ideologically dedicated to open borders and/or has written off ordinary white Americans and is doubling down on turning out Hispanics.
One thing is certain: the American people will finally get to choose between two competing visions on immigration this November.

LONDON: Appeasement in the Face of Danger Deadly Parallels

An interesting article from http://www.ucg.org/ about London's Muslim terror. This follows this post about gun contests among jihadists. This follows this post about the reasons for the Brexit from the European Union.  For a free magazine subscription or to get the books recommended for free click HERE! or call 1-888-886- 8632.

After the July 7 terror bombings on three London Underground (subway) trains and one of the city’s famous double-decker buses, Western leaders were quick to recount memories of the resolve of Londoners during the World War II blitz on the city by the German Luftwaffe. The blitz isn’t the only comparison one can draw with the Second World War. Another is the matter of appeasement. For much of the decade preceding the September 1939 German invasion of Poland that precipitated World War II, Winston Churchill was warning of impending calamity. He was largely ignored, criticized as a warmonger and kept out of government. This period came to be known as the famous statesman’s “wilderness years.” But he was right. Just one year before the outbreak of war, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain sat down and talked with Adolf Hitler in Munich, purportedly receiving his assurances that he would stop his aggression. Returning to Britain, waving a piece of paper in his hand as he came down the steps of his airplane, Chamberlain proclaimed “peace in our time.” He had appeased Hitler by giving in to Germany’s annexation of Czechoslovakia, trusting things would end there. But all he did was buy time while Hitler grew stronger. The apostle Paul warned of such delusion: “For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them …” (1 Thessalonians 5:3). While this prophecy specifically applies to the global state of deception just preceding the coming Day of the Lord, the principle is always at work: The subtle spirit of appeasement blinds people to the truth, leading to serious, often fatal, misjudgments. For some time now too many Western leaders today have been making similar mistakes in the war on terrorism. As the threat to Western civilization has mounted, they have often been in the dark, blinded by political correctness, unable to see the stark threat that faces us all. Occasionally there’s a voice like Churchill’s crying in the wilderness, but too often it’s been quickly smothered by the politically correct mantra that all religions and cultures are essentially equal and can live peaceably side by side. Attitudes leading up to and in the immediate aftermath of the London bombings are a case in point. “Islam and terrorism don’t go together” Two days after the London bombings, Charles Moore, former editor of London’s Daily Telegraph, wrote an article for the paper July 9 in which he asked the question: “Where is the Gandhi of Islam?” He commended Londoners for their stoicism and the emergency services for their magnificent work, but then wrote the following astute paragraph: “Yet there seems to me to be a radical disjunction between our heroic capacity to deal with the immediate effects of terrorism and our collective refusal to confront what lies behind it. The effects of this disjunction are, literally, fatal.” Mr. Moore quoted the deputy assistant commissioner of the London metropolitan police, Brian Paddick, who, when asked about the nature of the terrorists, said: “Islam and terrorism don’t go together.” Mr. Moore comments on this statement: “It is true that the vast majority of Muslims are not terrorists, or involved in terrorism, and this needs to be said strongly if people assert otherwise. But if the Metropolitan Police really believe what Brian Paddick says, if they really, truly think that the words ‘Islam’ and ‘terrorism’ must not be linked, then we have little hope of catching the killers, of understanding how the terrorism works, or of preventing new atrocities.” Mr. Moore adds a very perceptive thought: “What strikes one again and again about the reaction of the public authorities, of commentators, of the media, is the terrible lethargy about studying what it is we are up against. We are dealing with an extreme interpretation of one of the great religions of the world. “We flap around, looking for moderates and giving them knighthoods, making placatory noises, putting bits of Islam on to the multi-faith menu in schools, banishing Bibles from hospital beds, trying to criminalise the expression of ‘religious hatred,’ blaming George Bush and Tony Blair.” In other words, we have practiced appeasement as a previous generation did in the years leading up to World War II. He continues: “But if we do not know the way the faith in question works, its history, its quarrels, its laws and demands, we will not have the faintest chance of distinguishing the true moderate from the fellow-traveller or of bearing down on the fanaticism.” Dangerous ignorance of religion and history It’s not surprising that the British people are ignorant of Islam. The average citizen today is almost as ignorant about Christianity. After two devastating world wars, Britons abandoned practicing Christianity in droves, holding onto it in name only. Church attendance plummeted. Having rejected the Bible as the standard for religious and moral absolutes, people rapidly accepted a new standard—that of multi-culturalism and political correctness. According to this standard, all religions, cultures, creeds and ideas are morally equal and not to be criticized. There is no absolute right or wrong; no one can judge another’s beliefs and actions. After decades of swimming in this sea of political correctness and multiculturalism, most people today genuinely believe that there is little or no difference between various religions. They have become spiritual appeasers, no longer able to discern right from wrong, truth from error, safety from danger. They know little or nothing about the Bible or the Koran. This was not the case with previous generations of Englishmen. American historian Benson Bobrick wrote about the incredible enthusiasm the English people had for the Word of God in past centuries. “Englishmen carried their Bible with them—as the rock and foundation of their lives—overseas,” wherever they went (Wide as the Waters, 2001, p. 12). Canadian historian Jacques Barzun wrote that this enthusiasm for the Bible “did not cease for 350 years. 1900 was the first year in which religious works (at least in England) did not outnumber all other publications” (From Dawn to Decadence, 2000, p. 10). The same enthusiasm could be found in the United States at the time. The July 10 Lansing State Journal noted that at the Michigan State University campus in East Lansing, excavations are taking place at the site of one of the first student dormitories, called “Saints Rest,” which was “named by students after a popular Christian devotional of the time” in 1856. Less than 150 years later our most prestigious universities reject the Word of God and teach secular values to our young people. They have lost their spiritual moorings in a world floundering spiritually because it has discarded biblical standards. The Old Testament prophet Hosea wrote to modern-day Ephraim, the British people who formed the “multitude of nations” foretold in Genesis 48:19. Through Hosea, God tells us, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6, emphasis added throughout). This is not knowledge of the physical universe, but knowledge of who we are, why we are here, and God’s eternal standards that show us how to succeed in relationships, both individually and at the national level. How well that describes so much of the Western world today. Rejecting the timeless truths and standards of the Bible has set our peoples up for destruction. Not understanding the truths of God only causes spiritual confusion and leads to acceptance of false religions and philosophies which, in turn, lead to ever-increasing problems, conflicts and dangers. Hosea 7:8-9 adds: “Ephraim has mixed himself among the peoples [embraced other cultures and religions as equally valid with the true faith of the Word of God] … Aliens [people who worship other gods] have devoured his strength, but he does not know it.” Ancient Ephraim had the same problem modern Britain and other Western countries have today without knowing it. They have been blinded, thinking that accepting all religions and cultures as equal is a strength when too often it sows the seeds of social and cultural disintegration. The enemy within Imagine if, in World War II, one in eight Londoners was a German. This would have complicated the situation alarmingly. Today, one in eight Londoners is Muslim, many of whom are second-generation British residents. It is becoming increasingly evident that some have been recruited for terrorism from their number, especially from militant mosque congregations. Three of the four London suicide bombers were second-generation Britons born to Pakistani parents (the fourth was a Jamaican-born immigrant to Britain and a Muslim convert). The first of the men arrested for the unsuccessful July 21 bombings had immigrated to Britain from Eritrea with his parents at age 14. In spite of a prison sentence for knifepoint muggings as a teenager, he had been granted British citizenship and given some $60,000 in welfare payments over recent years. Another of the suspects arrested for the failed bombings had also been on welfare and lived in government housing. All four suspects had moved to Britain as children or teenagers and apparently were radicalized and moved to terrorist acts after moving there. Richard Reid, who in December 2001 attempted to blow up a transatlantic American Airlines flight with explosives hidden in his shoe, was born in a London suburb to an English mother and a Jamaican father. He had converted to Islam while in prison. Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, sentenced to death in Pakistan for the 2002 kidnapping and beheading of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl there, was a London native and former student at the London School of Economics, born in Britain to Pakistani immigrant parents. In April 2003, two British citizens, Asif Mohammed Hanif and Omar Khan Sharif, carried out a suicide-bomb attack in Mike’s Place, a Tel Aviv nightspot frequented by many Americans. Sons of Muslim immigrants, the bombers had been recruited by the terror group Hamas in Britain and entered Israel using their British passports. Recent articles on terrorism in Iraq highlight that many of the insurgents are second-generation Muslims recruited from Western Europe—their parents were immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa, but they were born in Europe. Iraq and Britain aren’t the only places where Western-born converts to violence have emerged. Mohammed Bouyeri, convicted of shooting Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh on an Amsterdam street before nearly beheading him, had lived all his life in Holland since his birth there to Moroccan-immigrant parents. “What moved me to do what I did was purely my faith,” Bouyeri explained in confessing the killing. “… I was motivated by the law that commands me to cut off the head of anyone who insults Allah and his prophet.” Some Muslim leaders have spoken out and strongly condemned such acts, particularly in the wake of the London bombings. Yet these realities raise serious questions about the ideals of multiculturalism, including the widely held conviction that second-generation immigrants are fully assimilated and identify with their new country. Two days after the second round of London bombings failed, London’s Telegraph published results of a survey of attitudes among Britain’s Muslims illustrating the magnitude of the problem. “The sheer scale of Muslim alienation from British society that the survey reveals is remarkable,” stated the article’s author, Anthony King, professor of government at Essex University. “Although a large majority of British Muslims are more than content to make their home in this country, a significant minority are not,” he continued. He explained that almost of third of those surveyed believe that “Western society is decadent and immoral and that Muslims should seek to bring it to an end.” He further found that “nearly one British Muslim in five, 18 per cent, feels little loyalty towards this country or none at all.” In terms of numbers, this means that “well over 100,000 British Muslims feel no loyalty whatsoever” toward Britain. Perhaps most ominously, he reported that “one per cent, about 16,000 individuals, declare themselves willing, possibly even eager, to embrace violence” (“One in Four Muslims Sympathises With Motives of Terrorists,” July 23). Western leaders in denial While Prime Minister Blair and President Bush express their commitment to advance democracy in the Middle East, they should take note of the threat at home to Western ideals of democracy. Charles Moore, the former Daily Telegraph editor cited earlier, continued in his piece: “I have beside me an article that appeared during our recent [May] election campaign in Muslim Weekly [London]. By Sheikh Dr Abdalqadir as-Sufi, it calls for the replacement of British parliamentary democracy with ‘a new civilization based on the worship of Allah,’ attacks the Conservatives for being ‘in the hands of an illegal Jewish immigrant from Romania’ and speaks of the ‘near-demented judaic banking elite.’ “… Last year, [London mayor Ken] Livingstone extended a warm welcome in London to Yusuf al-Qaradawi, a mainstream, world-famous spiritual leader based in Qatar. Qaradawi has supported suicide bombing against Israelis, the treatment of all Jews as legitimate targets, the whipping of homosexuals and the killing of all Americans—civilian and military—in Iraq.” There’s little wonder that the same mayor was in denial over the perpetrators of the London bombings. “This isn’t an ideology, it isn’t even a perverted faith, it’s mass murder,” Mr. Livingstone was quoted as saying in London’s Financial Times July 8. The bombings were unquestionably mass murder, but the perpetrators certainly appear to have been motivated by both religious ideology and perverted faith. When a terrorist isn’t a terrorist Even the word “terrorist” became controversial in Britain, when it became clear that the BBC would not use the word to describe the bombers, apparently because the broadcaster might lose some of its international audience. According to the organization’s editorial guidelines, “the word ‘terrorist’ itself can be a barrier rather than aid to understanding” (Tom Leonard, “BBC Language That Labour Loves to Hear,” Daily Telegraph, July 13). The BBC also canceled a dramatization of a patriotic British classic from World War I, Greenmantle by John Buchan, a follow-up to the classic 39 Steps. The novel’s heroes thwart a German plan to unite Islamic peoples against the British, a very real threat at the time. The BBC’s decision to cancel was in stark contrast to their refusal to be pressured last year when Christians protested over the showing of the blasphemous London stage play Jerry Springer—the Opera. There’s clearly a double standard of continuing contempt for Christianity and its values, coupled with fear of Islam and a growing inability to say anything critical of this religion, its history or its followers. In the United States, the Public Broad-casting Service (PBS) follows the same philosophy, fearful of critiquing Islam in a documentary special made for the Empires series while being dismissive of Christian beliefs in other documentaries. Failing to see the danger Those of us who are older know that the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, on New York and Washington, D.C., of March 11, 2004, in Madrid and of July 7 and 21 in London this year would not have happened 50 years ago. Massive immigration from the Third World, prompted by politically correct government policies, has significantly changed the demographics of Western nations in the last four decades. Britain has long welcomed many immigrants from the Third World, as have many other European countries. Likewise the United States, once a haven for white European immigrants, in recent decades changed its policies to bring in more poor, culturally alien peoples from Asia, Africa and the Middle East who are far less likely to successfully assimilate. Many observers are now—too late—questioning the wisdom of those moves. After the London bombings, a cry immediately arose to change Britain’s practice of granting asylum even to some convicted of or wanted by authorities for religious extremism in their own countries and to expel those who, taking advantage of Britain’s free-speech protections, have argued for the overthrow of Britain’s democracy and the establishment of an Islamic state. For four decades politicians, intellectuals and academic institutions on both sides of the Atlantic have espoused political correctness and multiculturalism, reversing the biblically based beliefs and ideals held by our ancestors since the Reformation. Instead of being thankful for the blessings Almighty God bestowed on the British and American peoples, they blame Western leaders for virtually all the world’s problems. Continually heard on the BBC following the London bombings were questions about how four young men born and brought up in Britain could take the lives of so many, about what made them feel so “alienated” and asking how can Britain and other countries do better in assimilating Muslims. Nobody even considered the possibility that perhaps Islamic and Western values are inherently incompatible, a fact that Islamic nations themselves acknowledge by their refusal to allow non-Muslims to immigrate into their countries. The Dutch politician Pym Fortuyn was one of the first to realize this, pointing out that Islamic values threaten liberal Dutch society. Assassinated in 2002, he paid with his life for the comment. So did Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh, mentioned earlier. Perhaps it’s not surprising that BBC employees are careful about criticizing Islam! Do we have the will and wisdom? Clearly the London suicide bombings have caused some Western leaders to awaken to the serious threat that confronts their nations. Hopefully it’s not too late. Rejection of biblical standards and absolutes has had many unforeseen consequences. Lack of discernment—characterized by appeasement in the face of growing danger—has been only one sad result of trying to live apart from the Word of God. In an age of religious confusion, exacerbated by the new ideology of multiculturalism, does the Western world have the will and the wisdom to face up to the real threat that ideological terrorism poses? If not, we can only expect more attacks in the future. While many Western leaders and intellectuals flounder about spiritually, unable to discern the danger, terrorists remain single-minded in their deadly purpose. The prophet Isaiah’s words from more than 2,500 years ago seem so relevant today: “Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. So truth fails, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey [or, as some references render it, ‘he who departs from evil is accounted mad’]” (Isaiah 59:14-15). Christians, meanwhile, must seek the discernment that can only come from God’s Word and continue to pray fervently for God’s Kingdom to come. Only then will the suffering and violence that plagues our world finally come to an end. GN

Koran contest kids get guns, grenades

An interesting article from http://www.ucg.org/ about gun contests among jihadists. This follows this post about the reasons for the Brexit from the European Union. This follows this post about the Gay Agenda Blueprint. For a free magazine subscription or to get the books recommended for free click HERE! or call 1-888-886- 8632.

The prizes in this year's contest? Assault rifles and live grenades!
The station, based near the capital, Mogadishu, awarded an AK-47 assault rifle and the equivalent of $700 to the first-place group. The second-place group received an AK-47 and the equivalent of $500, while those who placed third received two live hand grenades and $400.
The al-Shabab group is linked to al-Qaeda and was recently forced out of Mogadishu, though it still controls much of central and southern Somalia.
“Youths should use one hand for education and the other for a gun to defend Islam,” said al-Shabab official Mukhtar Robow at the prize awards ceremony, held not far from Mogadishu. Pictures of the awards ceremony appeared on a website affiliated with the group.
Winners also received Islamic religious books. Prizes in previous years included a rocket-propelled grenade launcher and anti-tank mines. Somalia has been in the news in recent years due to the twin plagues of drought and piracy, with Muslim pirates preying on shipping and pleasure boats in the Indian Ocean. Editorial: Orlando - A Gun problem? A Muslim problem? A Gay problem? A Hispanic problem?

Editorial

As the causes of the Orlando shooting are analyzed, the mainstream media is primarily making this into a gun problem, however, most Americans do acquire their guns in a law abiding method and will continue to do so, while law-breakers will continue to find other means to acquire them.

Is it a homophobic problem? Well, that was one of the stated reasons of the shooter. His Muslim faith was also a stated reason.

Now one of the latest causes is if it was an anti-Latino problem? Most of the victims were Latino and ISIS had recently said they were targeting Latinos

Obama's CVE Program Is an Outrage -- and the Republicans Are Funding It

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: If there's anything approaching on today's program a... I kind of hate to use the word "bombshell," but this is close.
If you are wondering, "Okay, how is a guy named Omar Siddiqui Mateen, with his family history and other things obviously clear, not learned about...? How does he pass a background check?"  Well, we have to thank the Obama administration for that.  I have a series  of stories here that are gonna boggle your the mind.  The first is from the French News Agency.  The headline: "Threats Against Muslims Must Stop After Orlando Attack: US Authorities."  Threats against Muslims must stop now.
"US authorities on Wednesday warned that threats against Muslims would not be tolerated, and possibly prosecuted, after alleged incidents in the wake of the Orlando gay club massacre, which was carried out by a Muslim gunman.  ...  'Civil rights violations are a priority for the FBI,' assistant special agent Ron Hopper told reporters. 'We will investigate reported incidents against individuals based upon any class, any protected class, to include race, religion, and sexual orientation.'"
So the focus of the United States government, the FBI right now, is trying to find people who might be threatening or saying negative things about Muslims, targeting them, finding them, and exploring ways to punish them.  That's just the tip of the iceberg.  Have you heard about the Obama counterterrorism strategy called Countering Violent Extremism?  It's actually... That's what it's called: CVE.  Have you heard of that?  Well, let me tell you about it.
Because the Republican leadership in the House is preparing now to meet Obama's request for $40 million of additional funding for the Countering Violent Extremism program.  The FBI is trying to investigate these terror threats, and you just heard that threats against Muslims must stop, and FBI says, "We're vigilant! We're looking out for this."  Are you also looking out for threats against America by Muslims?  Well, we presume so, but no. You would be wrong.  We're not allowed to!  That's what the CVE is.  You're not gonna believe this.
The FBI is trying to investigate terrorist threats but is hamstrung by this Countering Violent Extremism program.  The name, Countering Violent Extremism, was carefully chosen in order to suggest that there is no particular ideology causing the threat.  "Countering Violent Extremism" could require investigators to focus on extremist right-wingers -- and, in fact, does.  "Countering Violent Extremism" is carefully chosen in order to suggest that no particular ideology is causing the threat.  Any kind of "extremism" (such as in right-wing groups) that could lead to violence, will be investigated.
The theory behind Countering Violent Extremism -- the theory of the strategy -- is that, number one, Muslim communities have uniformly rejected terrorism so we don't need to investigate them. We don't need to, because they're a religion of peace.  Remember now, you think it's a joke, but Obama and the Democrats, when they say, "Terrorism has nothing to do with Islam; it's a bastardization; Islam is a religion of peace.  All these people out there, ISIS, ISIL, claiming to do what they're doing for Islam? They are not Islamists! They are extremists; they are not Muslim."
The acting belief, philosophy, policy of the United States government is Muslim communities have uniformly rejected terrorism; therefore, they don't need to be monitored or investigated.  Number two.  Instead of aggressively collecting intelligence with radical Islamic communities and suspects who could cause a threat, the FBI... Are you sitting down? The FBI is required to partner with "Muslim community leaders," who are essentially members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The FBI, according to the Countering Violent Extremism initiative, should partner with Muslim community leaders like the Muslim Brotherhood, who will serve as our eyes and ears to let us know if there's a problem.  So the FBI cannot monitor -- by virtue of this program, law, whatever, we cannot monitor -- Muslim communities.  We are not supposed to!  We are to rely on Muslim community leaders within those communities to tell the FBI if there's something we need to be worried about.
Now, when you see this, all of this focus on Christians and all this focus on the NRA and all this focus on other extremist groups kind of makes sense.  I mean, it doesn't make sense.  But the fact that Mateen's a Muslim?  "No, no! No, no! He couldn't have been because Islam's a religion of peace.  They don't do this."  That's Obama's story, and he's sticking with it, and since it's Obama's story, it's the story of the federal government. It's the story of our investigative agencies.  The FBI is reportedly highly frustrated over this.
They cannot, day in and day out... There are exceptions, obviously. But day in and day out, they cannot investigate Muslim neighborhoods, communities, mosques.  They have to rely on "outreach to Muslim community leaders" in those mosques and neighborhoods to tell them if there's something going on in there that they need to be worried about.  And that's why it's called Countering Violent Extremism, not Countering Violent Islamic Terrorism, for example.  "Islamic" and "Muslim" is specifically left out of the title.  Now, this is insane, folks.
Not only is it commonsenseless; it's insane.  It's tying both hands behind our back, and we see the result.  You wonder how this gets equates gun, how does this guy pass a background check?  Hello, Countering Violent Extremism!  We're not allowed to find out.  We cannot use anything... "Okay, we've got a guy. We can find out what his put on the internet. We can find he's predisposed to violence. He's not happy with America. His father was an Islamist sympathizer." Can't use any of that!
We can't use it, because we're not allowed to Hoover up that kind of information unless Muslim outreach partners inform us.  So when a guy goes to get a gun, he passes our background checks, and that's it! You wonder how? This is how.  This is why things like Orlando happen.  We're not allowed, by virtue of Obama's legislation... Well, it is legislation, because this is the icing on the cake.  It's about to run out of money.  I mean, the FBI's trying to investigate, but they are limited by these guidelines -- Countering Violent Extremism -- that do not allow them.
Here's the bottom line or the upshot of this: Countering Violent Extremism does not permit the FBI to factor radical beliefs when determining whether there's a criminal threat.  We're not allowed to go there.  We're not... Call it a variation of profiling.  Not allowed.  But this is not profiling; this is hard, cold evidence we are to ignore it.  We're not allowed to use it because of Countering Violent Extremism limitations on investigating Muslim communities.  So why is Paul Ryan pushing to fund this program an additional $40 million in the next budget?

RUSH:  Look, there is much more on this CVE and the related items.  I have a short amount of time left in this segment, so I'm gonna wait until the segment following the next break commences to get into more detail on it.  And you can continue to digest it.  And it's inexplicable.  It's in utter defiance of common sense.  It's so outrageous, I'm sure many people don't believe it.  "Rush, that can't be true.  You're either having fun with us or you're just wrong.  It can't be true."  Folks, it's true and there's more.
It's even worse than what you've heard so far.
The practical application of CVE and its implications just have some more earth-shattering details to share with you.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Okay.  Look.  In addition to this Countering Violent Extremism, tell you what's coming up.  We've got the CIA director.  He admitted... He just totally pulled the rug out from under Obama yesterday, admits that ISIS is coming into the country via refugees.  They're coming in, sneaking in via the immigration program.  He said that ISIS is bigger than ever, cutting... Obama said, "We've got them on the run. They're in smaller numbers than they've been in 7-1/2 years."  John Brennan just painted an entirely different picture what Obama said yesterday.
The difference is, nobody's gonna hear what Brennan said because he was in congressional testimony on C-SPAN, maybe a couple news networks for 20 minutes, and Obama had a national address that everybody in the Drive-Bys covered.  So nobody's gonna hear Brennan.  They're gonna hear us talking about Brennan and they're gonna think, "Well, Limbaugh and the conservatives, they don't like Obama so they're probably making it up."  So you can't get through to people 'cause they can't critically think anymore.
People don't know the difference between fact and opinion. And I'm getting off the beaten path.  I want to stick with this, because so many people say, "Why can't we stop these people?"  We're not permitted to, because the administration has implemented policies that tell our investigators -- like the FBI -- things they have to ignore.  And it's all part of the Countering Violent Extremism initiative.  I'll take you back to San Bernardino.  One of the mass murderers in that attack was named Tashfeen Malik.
Some of this, I'm sure, you're gonna remember as I go through it.  "San Bernardino mass-murderer Tashfeen Malik wrote social-media posts," like on Twitter, Facebook and wherever else, "that endorsed jihad and expressed disdain for America. Yet, that did not cause US immigration agents to question her admission into our country... In fact, our government consciously avoided learning about Malik’s Islamist rants," because they were required to by law.  They're not allowed to go there!
Writing at National Review, Andrew McCarthy says, "Commentators stunned by this dereliction are attributing it to 'secret' guidance issued by the Department of Homeland Security."   Folks, again, I want to tell you: This is not my opinion.  This is not anybody's opinion.  This is fact.  It's the same thing with Mateen here.  They had to ignore. The background check people on the guns, whatever this guy had written on social media, hatred for America -- go, go ISIS! -- jihad. We're not allowed to even investigate it! If it was discovered, we had to forget it.
Our agents had to forget it.  They were not permitted to because of Obama's policy, Countering Violent Extremism.  I'm not making this up.  I mean, it puts a new light on what Trump said, you know, there may be something going on with Obama here.  None of this is making sense, and it doesn't make sense.  When it was learned in the aftermath of San Bernardino that one of the killers had practically telegraphed her intention all over social media and that investigators ignored it, people said: Well, you know, must be some secret guidance issued by Homeland Security, 'cause nobody's this stupid.
Well, "there is nothing secret about it. The instruction to refrain from scrutinizing social-media commentary," which is a huge source of intelligence!  You got people all over this country vomiting everything about themselves because they want to be famous.  They want to be noticed.  Social media is all about, "Notice me!  Notice me!  I matter.  I'm important."  So people put everything about themselves on social media -- and some of them put the most outrageous stuff -- hoping to get noticed.  They crave followers.  And these clowns are no different.
And yet our investigators are under orders to ignore all of that.
"The instruction to refrain from scrutinizing social-media commentary ... is a straightforward application of what passes for the official Obama administration 'anti'-terrorism strategy, known as 'Countering Violent Extremism.' Malik, a native Pakistani, who immigrated to the United States in July after living for a time in Saudi Arabia," as did Mateen, "joined her husband, Syed Rizwan Farook, in [killing] 14 people in San Bernardino, California... Government officials now concede that Malik was inadequately screened before being permitted to relocate to the United States on a K-1 visa, issued because she was the fiancee of Farook, an American citizen.
"The couple married soon after her immigration. Malik's visa approval was already the stuff of scandal even before the latest revelations -- especially in light of President Obama's plan to admit thousands of immigrants from Syria and other bastions of Islamic supremacism, which inevitably breeds violent jihadism. Right after the massacre, it emerged that Malik had provided government screeners with a fake Pakistani address. She may also have been educated in a notoriously anti-Western madrassa. Neither fact was discovered during the vetting process,"   because the investigators are not allowed to pay attention to it.
And if they see it they are required to ignore it because they are not allowed to factor it in.  You're saying, "This doesn't makes sense, Rush."  It doesn't!  I know!  But remember the original point I made about the CVE.  FBI investigators admit they're frustrated.  They cannot themselves investigate Muslim communities because Islam is a religion of peace.  Muslim communities are thought to already have no violence in them.  This is straight from Obama, straight from the Regime.  The only way the FBI can learn of potential problems coming out of a Muslim community is if their partners -- community outreach specialists within that Muslim community -- inform them.
Well, it turns out that the people the FBI interact with happen to be Muslim Brotherhood or CAIR or other such representatives.  That's the only way the FBI can learn officially what's going on.  They're not allowed to do it! I know this doesn't... Folks, I can imagine you're saying, "Rush, this doesn't make sense.  You have to have something wrong here."  I know you're thinking that.  Even though you trust me implicitly -- even though after 28 years, 27, whatever it is, you know instincts I don't lie or make things up -- you still can't believe this.  This doesn't make sense.
I'm telling you, there's not a syllable, there's not a consonant, there's not a vowel of exaggeration in this.  The reason why this has all come up is because the CVE is about out of money.  It needs an infusion, and the Republicans are prepared to send Obama another $40 million to keep it going.  And people are asking, "Why?  Why?"  The thing is, what happened in the case of the San Bernardino Two and what happened in the case of Mateen whatever, these are not glitches.  These are not examples of our system not working.
These are examples of the system doing what it was designed to do: Ignore certain inarguable signs of who we're dealing it, under the premise that Islamic is a religion of peace and that there is no terrorism.  These people claiming they're conducting terrorist acts in the name of Islam are not Islamic, not Muslims.  That's Obama!  That's apparently his belief, and therefore the official belief US government.  A Power Line story today. I think this is John Hindraker. I'm not sure, but headline: "How Not to Counter Domestic Terrorism --
"Sources tell me that Speaker Paul Ryan is pushing this week to fund the Department of Homeland Security's 'Countering Violent Extremism' (CVE) program to the tune of $40 million. If you didn't know anything about this program, it might seem like a good idea for Ryan to get CVE funded in the wake of the Orlando massacre. ... You can tell from the name of the program that it's misguided," and it's designed to mislead.  Countering Violent Extremism?  You mean...? Why don't you just...? This is why the whole business of labels is important.
Obama, why won't you say militant Islamic terrorism, extremist Islamic terrorism?  Why won't you say it?  Precisely 'cause of this!  It doesn't exist, in his world.  Countering Violent Extremism imagines movies being shot up by wacko members of the Tea Party.  Of course, the things they imagine right wingers doing doesn't happen, don't happen.  "'Violent extremism' didn't produce the Orlando shootings..." Now, wait.  Now, wait.  See, this is important.  You're thinking, "Rush, now, come on."  No, no, no.  "'Violent extremism' didn't produce the Orlando shootings..."
Violent extremism did not cause the San Bernardino massacre.
Islamic terrorism did it. Islamic militant whatever you want to call it. Militant Islamic extremism, militant Islamic terrorism, Islamic extremist terrorists, that's who is responsible for Orlando and San Bernardino, not "violent extremism."  Violent extremism is specifically meant -- the way it's worded and structured by this administration -- to omit Islam.  And, in fact, that's the practical application.  Muslim communities are ignored as investigators try to find the answers to violent extremism.  Well, you can't find the answer when you not allowed to go look at the cause.  The cause is Islamist terrorism.

RUSH: Here's Josh in Brick, New Jersey.  You're next.  Great to have you on the program.  Hello.
CALLER:  Hi.  Thank you for taking my call, Rush.
RUSH:  Yes, sir.
CALLER:  You referenced before about how the Obama administration is basically spending more resources targeting people that are going after Muslims, than the actual Muslim extremism itself. And I think the answer is very simple:  Obama has said very clearly that he views these Islamic terrorists as, you know, they just happen to get extreme information "off the internet," as if it's a computer virus that could happen to me, can happen to you, can happen to anyone.  It doesn't really represent an ideology.  But the people that don't like Muslims, they're bigots, and they really represent an ideology that has to be defeated.  That's just how I see it from here.
RUSH:  Well, you've got a point.  If I understood what you're saying, you're saying that Obama's saying that militant Islamic extremists, there's nothing really Muslim about 'em or Islamic.  They're just being radicalized.  We gotta forgive 'em, gotta accommodate, gotta explain 'em.  But the people that oppose 'em, they are really the problem. These are bigots, these are racists, these are Islamophobes, and we've gotta stop 'em.  Is that what your point is?
CALLER:  Exactly.  And he even said that they became radicalized over information on the internet, as if it was just a virus.
RUSH:  Right.  That's when Hillary is saying, "I don't know how you build a wall to keep the internet out."  Same thing.  These... Look, there's a -- I don't know -- willful denial.  Folks, I'll tell, when I found out about this CVE program today that I led off discussing, Countering Violent Extremism. When I read through that and I learned about it, I told a friend, "You know, I may not be able to talk about this today 'cause this has me so enraged. I might say things here that would get me in deep trouble, because it doesn't make any sense."
I just have to tell you flat-out: To tell the FBI you can't investigate Muslim communities when going after potential terrorism, because there isn't any in those communities because Islam's a religion of peace -- and the terrorists are not really Islam or Muslim, they're bastardizing it -- and the only way the FBI can actually learn, legally learn anything about those communities as if an appointed representative of that community shares the information with the FBI, such as in one of these appointed entities is the Muslim Brotherhood?
So if say the Neighborhood Watch commander in a Muslim neighborhood senses that something might be happening with one of the people that lives there. He can call the FBI and tell 'em, "Hey, there's something going on."  But the FBI cannot learn it on its own.  It cannot investigate it on its own.  That's federal law, as we sit here today.  The San Bernardino terrorists broadcast their intention all over social media.  FBI, under law, had to ignore it.  Ditto the Orlando terrorist.
In the aftermath, we learned that he was all over the internet telling people his anger, what was enraging him, and what his intentions were.  The guy called the FBI during the act.  He was on the FBI watch list.  They didn't do anything about it.  People said, "Why not?"  Now we know.  They're not allowed to.  The guy called the Washington Post in the middle of the act.  He calls 911; he calls the Washington Post.  When I heard that, I said, "Aand it still happened?"  He calls 911 in the middle of his rampage!  When you discover this, when you learn this, you say, "Wait a minute! This doesn't make any sense."
There's no amount... Talking about critical thinking, there's no amount of logic that explains any of this to me.  And I seriously... I thought about it. When I came across information last night and into this morning, I weighed whether or not to even get started talking about it, 'cause I had to put a muzzle on myself.  It's so senseless.  It doesn't seem that you can assign this to willful blindness.  It doesn't seem that you can assign this to willful ignorance.  Something like this does not... You can't categorize this as good intentions gone awry.  It has never made sense to me.
Every time there is a terror attack -- I don't care if it's in Paris, I don't care if it was in Belgium, I don't care if it's San Bernardino or Orlando -- what's the first thing we hear from authorities?  "Do not rush to judgment! We must guard against a backlash against Muslims."  That has... I can't tell you how often I have been profoundly suspicious of that.  It makes no sense.  There isn't a backlash.  We aren't committing acts of terror against Muslim communities in this country.  It just doesn't happen.  I can't think of a single instance!  It's the other way around.  And every time we're told, "You better watch out!  You can't afford any backlash here!" It's just... None of it makes any sense -- on the surface.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: This Obama.  This is from Tuesday afternoon.  We've heard the CIA director today, John Brennan, testify under oath before a Senate committee that ISIS is as big and bad as ever and that they're infiltrating America via our refugee program and immigration, and that we should be very concerned.  And this is exactly the opposite what Obama said two days ago.  So again I ask: Who are we to believe?  And I mean that.  Look, I... The CIA director's under oath.
The CIA director just threw Obama under the bus.  But it's budget time in Washington at the same time.  And the CIA has many budgets, including the black budget that nobody ever sees.  Got all kinds of money in it for black ops that nobody ever sees and that we never know.  But it still has to be appropriated.  Here we have the first of two.  This is Obama at the Treasury department.  This from the press conference where he got all defensive about people accusing him of never using the term "militant Islamic extremism" or "terrorism."
OBAMA:  All told, ISIL has now lost nearly half of the populated territory that it once controlled in Iraq.  And it will lose more.  ISIL continues to lose ground in Syria as well. Assisted by our Special Operations Forces, the coalition of local forces is now pressuring the key town of Manbij, which means the noose is tightening around ISIL in Raqqa as well.
RUSH:  Well, all well and good. But it's not what we were told today by the CIA director.  The next one...
OBAMA:  Our coalition continues to be on offense, ISIL is on defense, and it's now been a full year since ISIL has been able to mount a major successful offensive operation in either Syria or Iraq.  As ISIL continues to lose territory, it also continues to lose the money that is its lifeblood.  As a result of our strikes against its oil infrastructure and supply lines, we believe that we've cut ISIL's revenue from oil by millions of dollars per month.  In destroying the storage sites where they keep their cash, we've deprived ISIL of many millions more.  Cutting off ISIL's money may not be as dramatic as military strikes, but it is critically important, and we're seeing the results.
RUSH:  Okay, now, don't be distracted by the details. Because those details could be true, and ISIS could still be inspiring attacks here.  The point is, the president's intention, after Orlando, was to comfort the nation. "Hey, look, this stuff? Don't be concerned about it! We're beating 'em.  I mean, they're lashing out. These are last gasps."  But, on the other hand, they continue to happen.  Regardless what ISIL's strength or weakness is, acts of terror continue to happen that we somehow don't seem able to stop.  So these efforts to calm everybody and comfort us, and then the CIA director goes out there and directly contradicts this.  It's not good.

RUSH: Dallas, Texas.  Chuck, great to have you on the EIB Network.  Hello.
CALLER:  Hi, Rush.  Thank you for taking my call.
RUSH:  Yes, sir.
CALLER:  Rush, I don't believe this is all just happenstance. I believe it's been pretty methodical.  I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything like that, but it's a very methodical way to change.  And the best way to do things sometimes is what you tell people. Tell 'em what you're gonna do and just leave it open.  We've known all along that this country was supposed to change, and I think targeting all Western countries as soft targets is the way to change the mind-set of how we do everything.  Everything from religion --
RUSH:  Wait, wait.  I need to catch up with you.
CALLER:  Yes, sir.
RUSH:  What do you think is all part of a plan? What are we talking about here?  You mean the CIA director contradicting Obama?
CALLER:  CIA director contradicting Obama? How about the DOJ telling the FBI not to do certain things?  You don't have to make giant transition points.  You just have to whittle away a little at a time.
RUSH:  Okay.  So you said something about soft targets.  You've jumped into... You think I know your point halfway in, and I don't know what your starting point here with.
CALLER:  Starting point is: This has all been methodically planned out for a long time.
RUSH:  What has been methodically planned out?
CALLER:  The deconstruction of Western Civilization.
RUSH:  Oh, you're talking about a macro issue.
CALLER:  Yes, sir.
RUSH:  And so the assault and the desire to destroy Western Civilization, Western culture devised long ago, and it's been implemented piece by piece? So we're just seeing it now finally come to fruition, and we're just now catching up with it?
CALLER: I mean, what else could it be? What other theories are out there?  Nobody's doing it to the Chinese.
RUSH:  Well, oh, yeah, a lot of people tried.  Just the ones that do end up in jail --
CALLER:  Or dead, right.
RUSH:  -- or lynched or, you know, run over by a tank.
CALLER:  Yeah.
RUSH:  Look, hang on here.  Now that I know your starting point... Don't misunderstand my tone.  It's not your problem.  I just want to make sure I knew what you're talking about before I comment.  Hang on through the break and we'll pick it up when we get back right after this.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Okay, back to Chuck in Dallas.  So your premise is that there has been a long-thought-out, long-implemented strategy amongst enemies of ours around the world to effectively destroy Western Civilization; and it sounds like you think that we're actually helping them do it?
CALLER:  Yes, sir.  Just take, for example -- you'd mentioned it just today -- the CRVE (sic) that Obama wants to put through that --
RUSH:  No, it already exists.
CALLER: It already exists.  Okay.  Well, when did it start existing?  Did it start existing when Obama came into office?  If that --
RUSH: Yes, although -- although -- George Bush was sympathetic to this whole notion that we shouldn't --
CALLER:  I'm not -- I wouldn't exclude any president.  This is just one doc that just says: "Hey, we have to do this to not allow the FBI to do this so we can move forward with our overall plan."
RUSH:  Well, you made the point that the ChiComs are not letting it happen to them.  It seems to be Western civilization, which is the Western European democracies, which are now socialist democracies. They're under assault. Europe is under assault.  It's so bad over there that Great Britain's hoping to get out of it.  That's what the Brexit debate is all about, British exit from the European Union.
CALLER: Right.
RUSH:  Because it's been stampeded by enemies of Western civilization, and they're here, and they're coming across borders. Not just the southern border. They're coming in through New York. They're coming in the visa program. They're coming in as refugees.  And we're welcoming 'em in with open borders, under the presumption that that's what America is.  We actually have people saying that. To a certain extent, Chuck, I understand what you're saying, because it looks like... If you just casually glance at it, we have people who think the Constitution's a suicide pact.
That in the name of openness and in the name of human rights and in the same of civil rights, and in the name of whatever the hell else rights that you want to conjure up, we have a duty to let anybody come into this country with any purpose whatsoever "because that's what our values are. That's who we are.  We let anyone in, whatever and whoever they are."
And it seems like lately the more grievances they have against America, the better.  I don't like getting started on this 'cause I get so ticked off. I get so ticked off. I get ticked off at people that voted; I get ticked off at Republicans that won't stand up to this.  I got... What was I thinking about earlier?  It was about how some of this stuff is gotten away with.  I don't know.  I can't think of it now.  It will come to me later.
