GOP Wouldn't Challenge Black Voter Fraud in 2008—Why Would It Challenge Trayvon Martin Lynch Mob Now?

Here is an interesting article from www.vdare.com about the latest on the Trayvon Martin shooting case. This follows this prevous post about it or this post about a white person who was burned by a black gang from http://nicholasstixuncensored.blogspot.com/ and this post about the Congressional Black Caucus that you can contact and you can read the very interesting book that is being shown HERE!

GOP Wouldn't Challenge Black Voter Fraud in 2008—Why Would It Challenge Trayvon Martin Lynch Mob Now?

A month after the Trayvon Martin killing, protests continue to mount, spurred on by the White House and President Obama blatantly attempting to incite the Democratic Party base and demoralize that of the GOP.
At the same time, helpfully publicized by guerilla websites like Drudge, VDARE.com and my own SBPDL, the Left-wing narrative is unwinding with embarrassing speed—see for example, Trayvon Martin case: Martin was the aggressor, police sources say, by Rene Lynch, Chicago Tribune, March 26, 2012.
But that will do no good if the GOP leadership behaves with the cowardice that Senator John McCain displayed about challenging Democratic voter fraud in the 2008 election.
The shooting of Trayvon Martin has become the defining moment in the Obama Presidency. It’s becoming obvious that, as the 50 black teenagers shouted at the white Marshall family when they attacked their home in Akron, Ohio, after the 2009 July 4th weekend: “This is a black world.” [Akron police investigate teen mob attack on family, By Phil Trexler, Akron Beacon Journal, July 7, 2009]
(Not much seems to have been done about this—see follow-up stores from the same reporter: FBI asked to investigate attack on white family near Firestone Park, July 10, 2009 and Akron Attack Victims Frustrated With Police ResponseJuly 20, 2009.)
Obama did not go on record or call it a “soul searching” moment:
  • when The Detroit Free Press published a special investigative, multiple-part work (Living with Murder, November 12, 2011) that reported in 89 percent black Detroit, 3,313 lives have been taken since 2003?
Almost of all the black people murdered in America are killed by other black people. This is one of the primary reasons that cities with high populations of minorities have lower property values and a discernible lack of a business district: people are fearful of raising a family there. And they are right to be fearful.
Indeed, in a number of cities with impossible high rates of black-on-black crime, city leaders, police, officials, and members of the black community have appealed for extraordinary measures (even “martial law”) to stabilize the situation.
The Harrisburg Chapter of the NAACP is calling on Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell to suspend some civil liberties and impose martial law in the city to halt the wave of recent lawlessness.
Chapter President Stanley Lawson also called on Rendell to bring in the state National Guard for at least 30 days and to impose a curfew. In June, there have been at least 12 shootings, many of them in the daytime, including a man killed Wednesday at a busy city intersection during the lunch hour.
  • In Cleveland, Ohio, an emergency curfew was passed—to the objection of the ACLU over the racial connotations—because of black Flash Mobs attacking law-abiding citizens, the first step toward martial law being declared and freedom for everyone being eroded.
  • In Columbia, SC, an emergency curfew was passed after the beating of Carter Strange. The ACLU objected to the idea of a curfew because it would be primarily black people affected by the rule). [Columbia curfew proposal faces opposition]
  • In Newark, New Jersey, Mayor Cory Booker was forced to create a Safe City Task Force and suspend freedoms for everyone by implementing an emergency curfew.
  • In Indianapolis, because of the high numbers of shootings of black people by fellow black people at the 2010 Indiana black Expo, the 2011 version had hundreds of extra police and volunteers in a bid to keep the peace. But at what cost? Erika Smith, writing for the Indy Star, reported happily that no one was shot, but noted: “It looked like the government had declared martial law after the sun went down Friday.”
In Louisiana, State Rep. Austin Badon has stated that the National Guard should patrol New Orleans’ Bourbon Street again—not because of Hurricane Katrina looters, but because of high rates of black-on-black crime. The New York Times was appalled to find that the “killers and their victims are overwhelmingly young black men”. [New Orleans Struggles to Stem Homicides, By Campbell Robertson, December 7, 2011] black people cried foul when a new curfew was introduced in The Big Easy in early 2012, even though the law was enacted on their behalf.
Black on black killings have been on the rise in the Music City. The Washington D.C. based Violence Policy Center noted Nashville had 42 African American murders in 2008, with an even higher rate than Memphis in 2009. Nearly half the murder total can be pinpointed to the large public housing communities such as Napier and Tony Sudekum Homes.
Unlike Memphis where years of concerted effort by the city to pursue federal grants resulting in the abolishment of 5 infamous housing projects, Nashville has been slow in tearing down such violence-breeding enclaves
There’s a silver-lining to all this though: High rates of “urban” crime in St. Louis —invariably black-on-black—helps prepare Air Force trauma surgeons for the type of blunt wounds they’ll see in combat.
Similarly, high levels of black on black crime in Baltimore makes the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center an excellent place for training military doctors before they are deployed to conflict zones around the world.
It’s not polite to report on black-on-black crime. You might upset the black community.
Thus in 2010, the Buffalo News was attacked by the black community in the city after daring to publish a story that acknowledged high levels of black criminality:
Black community voices outrage over story on City Grill victims
By Harold McNeil, September 1, 2010
About 700 members of Buffalo's African-American community tonight shared their grievances with Buffalo News Editor Margaret Sullivan over an Aug. 22 article on the criminal backgrounds of victims of the shooting at the City Grill three weeks ago. [7 of 8 shooting victims had criminal past | Some suggest lifestyle, associations may have put them in harm's way February 19, 2011]
The forum, held in True Bethel Baptist Church, 907 E. Ferry St., was one that Sullivan had requested following negative reaction to the report.
Many in the crowd expressed outrage that the police records of the shooting victims were reported at all. They called the report a gross departure from how The News traditionally treats crime victims and that it was disrespectful to the victims, their families and the African-American community.
One of the most important, and overlooked, news items to come out of Wikileaks: the news that black Democrats in Philadelphia and Ohio engaged in voter fraud during the 2008 President of the United States election. Andrea Shea King of WND.com reported that
“2008 Republican presidential candidate John McCain decided not to pursue legal action against the Democrats for engaging in voter fraud, believing that to do so would have thrown the country into civil unrest…” [Wikileaks reveals Democrat 2008 election crimes, March 5, 2012]
According to one leaked email on Wikileaks.org:
After discussions with his inner circle, which explains the delay in his speech, McCain decided not to pursue the voter fraud in PA and Ohio, despite his staff's desire to make it an issue. He said no. Staff felt they could get a federal injunction to stop the process. McCain felt the crowds assembled in support of Obama and such would be detrimental to our country and it would do our nation no good for this to drag out like last go around, coupled with the possibility of domestic violence.
But since Obama’s election, we’ve had nothing but “domestic violence” in communities across the country—with the rights of law-abiding citizens restricted due to the actions of, primarily, black males.
Looking at the landscape of the America in 2012, seeing how many cities require curfews to keep the peace, it is easy to discern the type of “civil unrest” McCain feared. [VDARE.com Note: From our we-told-you-so files, see The Riots Next Time? Racial Violence Looms If Barack Obama Loses—Or Wins, By Matthew Richer on October 24, 2008]
Why does Obama demand “soul-searching” over the death of Trayvon Martin, when every day in America there are hundreds of incidents that should cause all of us to stop and think?
If the eventual GOP nominee is smart, he’ll make this moment—when Barack Obama interjected himself into a sub judice situation whose details are still emerging—decisive in the 2012 race for the White House.
He will demand that President Obama explain why all those murdered black people (forget white people) in Detroit and elsewhere—killed by other black people – aren’t worthy of a “soul searching” moment.
How about it, Mittens?
Mittens?
Ah, fuhgeddaboutit.

Current Events & Trends: Sexual abuse, rape widespread in America

Current Events & Trends: Sexual abuse, rape widespread in America

Printer-friendly version

We are so far from the true sexual intimacy men and women were divinely intended to experience in godly marriage!

USA Today reported these shocking statistics at the end of last year: "Sexual violence is a widespread problem in the USA that strikes the majority of its victims early in life, according to a major government study released Wednesday. Nearly 1 in 5 women...report being raped in their lifetime," according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Janice Lloyd, "Study: Sexual Violence 'Widespread,’" Dec. 16, 2011).
In 2009 there were just over 155 million females in the United States, and probably somewhere near 160 million presently. Some 32 million women residing in America (ideally the land of the free and the home of the brave) have been raped at least once in their lifetime. These numbers are horrendous beyond words—and our sexually obsessed media culture bears a heavy responsibility.
"The study is the first to examine the prevalence of rape, sexual violence other than rape, stalking and intimate partner violence, and to report the damaging health consequences that last a lifetime," the article continued.
What callous and unfeeling men do to very young women and girls can only be called horrific and unconscionable. "Among female victims, 30% report being first raped when they were between 11 and 17 years old; 12% were 10 or younger." Clearly child abuse, especially of teenagers and very young girls, is a staggering problem in the United States.
Further, "nearly 1 in 2 women (44.6%) and 1 in 5 men (22.2%) experienced sexual violence other than rape at some point in their lives." How far from the true sexual intimacy men and women were divinely intended to experience in godly marriage! The master deceiver, Satan the devil, has turned what was meant by God to be the most pleasurable of human experiences between a husband and a wife into a living nightmare for the victims while inciting the brutality of callous perpetrators (see Revelation 12:9; 2 Timothy 3:1-4).
If you have been a victim of any type of sexual abuse, your life can be turned around by a genuine encounter with the living God. Read our free Bible study aid booklets Who Is God? and Marriage and Family: The Missing Dimension plus the PDF article "Dealing with Abuse ." (Source: USA Today. )

Trayvon Martin: Black Law Prof Says Suspecting Black Youths A Hate Crime

Trayvon Martin: Black Law Prof Says Suspecting Black Youths A Hate Crime

Tibbs
Professor Tibbs: Supporting Black Legal Privilege
The Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman lynch mob incited by President Obama continues to gather.
This situation has the merit of revealing the blatant Minority Supremacism which increasingly motivates the new American Nomenklatura
"He was not suspicious. What makes him suspicious in the moment is the fact that he was black. If Trayvon Martin was white, would any of this have happened?"
This absurd remark (If he had been white, why would anyone have been afraid?) is from US could bring hate charge in Fla. teen shooting By Curt Anderson Boston.com March 25, 2012
The source is one Donald Tibbs a black “Law Professor” at Drexel University (Boston.com suppressed Tibb’s race). Tibbs also said

"It sounds pretty obvious to me…If that was a racial epithet that preceded the attack on Trayvon Martin, we definitely have a hate crime."
What Tibbs (email him) suggests here is very ominous
  • The fact that young black men commit fantastically disproportionate quantities of violent crime has to be ignored.
  • An expletive uttered in the course of violent combat should project the case to a much serious and dangerous level.
These Black Law Professors are a problem.
At the national level the Trayvon Martin case is about privilege: treating the Black community as if it is not in fact disproportionately criminal – to the detriment of Whites.
As in the Duke case, Nicholas Stix Uncensored is indispensible: see Barack Obama: Because Trayvon Martin was Black, and Vaguely Resembled Me, “All of Us Have to Do Some Soul-Searching”

I’ll tell you what, John Doe/whatever-your-name is: When you start calling for soul-searching on behalf of all of the thousands of white victims of black racism just since your election, then I’ll set aside a minute or two for soul-searching about Trayvon Martin. Bet?
And Angry White Dude has rallied to the Colors:

IF ZIMMERMAN WAS BLACK, THE TREYVON MARTIN STORY WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN HEARD

Obama and his racist, anti-American minions are working overtime to create a race war or some other type of violence before the November election.
All of this was completely predictable.

Lynching George Zimmerman—Overwhelming America’s Historic White Majority

Here is an interesting article from www.vdare.com about the latest on the Trayvon Martin shooting case. This follows this prevous post about it or this post about a white person who was burned by a black gang from http://nicholasstixuncensored.blogspot.com/ and this post about the Congressional Black Caucus that you can contact and you can read the very interesting book that is being shown HERE!

Lynching George Zimmerman—Overwhelming America’s Historic White Majority

The Obama White House continues to incite the lynching of George Zimmerman, although he has not even been charged in the death of Trayvon Martin—yet. And with typical uselessness, the Righteous Right has rolled over on its back like a spaniel.
On the Sunday morning CNN talk show State of the Union, White House spokesman David Plouffe doubled down on President Obama’s controversial comments on the case, calling GOP Presidential contenders Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum’s wimpy criticisms “reprehensible” and an appeal to [white?!!!??] “people’s worst instincts”. [Transcript]
On ABC’s The Week, George Will, perhaps the prototypical Main Stream Media [MSM] professional token conservative, took refuge in condemning Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law—designed to avoid the crazy cases where homeowners have gone to jail for resisting burglars. He did, however, caution that the MSM and “certain well-known agitators” ended up looking like fools in the Duke Rape Hoax.
For it’s not just blacks and white Lefties who are spouting this false narrative. Sean Hannity has sounded just like the liberals on his radio and TV show—though, like Will, he has dutifully intoned that we still need all the facts. And that’s essentially the line Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich have parroted also.
National Review’s ignominious contribution to the issue: a now-notorious column by Editor Rich Lowry titled “Al Sharpton is Right.”
As it happens, of course, the shooter, George Zimmerman, is Hispanic. According to reports, Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, had a head wound and was heard screaming for help prior to shooting Martin. Zimmerman claims the boy attacked him from behind after trying to walk away from the confrontation. Over the weekend, a new witness surfaced who seemed to corroborate this. [Witness: Martin attacked Zimmerman, Fox Tampa, March 23, 2012]
Almost none of this has been mentioned in the MSM coverage. And the facts certainly don’t trouble the black race advocates and Leftist journalists who are hyping the case:
  • Black radio host Joe Madison called the case a “hate crime” and claims, “In America, we are culturally conditioned to believe that white is superior, black is inferior. The manifestation of that cultural valuing is that black people are undervalued, underestimated and marginalized.”
  • MSNBC’s Al Sharpton, perhaps remembering his glory days of the Crown Heights Riots and Tawana Brawley fraud, told a rally of angry blacks, “Some people said to me in the media — ‘Let me get this straight,’ they said. ‘Reverend, it seems like there’s a lot of people who are angry — are you afraid of violence?’ I said, ‘No. I’m afraid of the violence you already had.’”
“Violence is killing Tray Martin,” Sharpton continued. “Don’t act like we are the ones [who are] violent. We didn’t shoot nobody.” [Sharpton emcees racially-focused Sanford rally, warns against use of violence [!!!], by Matthew Boyle, March 22, 2012]
  • Louis Farrakhan took to his Twitter account to tweet, “Where there is no justice, there will be no peace. Soon the law of retaliation may very well be applied.”
  • Jesse Jackson claimed the shooting proves blacks are under attack. "Targeting, arresting, convicting blacks and ultimately killing us is big business." [Trayvon Martin case: 'Blacks are under attack,' says Jesse Jackson, By Rene Lynch, LA Times, March 23, 2012]
  • MSNBC host and Democratic strategist Karen Finney blamed Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich – among others – for the killing. [Video at Breitbart.com]
These claims are even more jarring given a recent case where the roles were reversed. In 2006, a black Long Island man, John White, shot an unarmed white teen, Daniel Cicciaro, 17, who had come to his house to fight his son. But in December 2010, black New York Governor David Patterson commuted the sentence of White, who had served a mere 5 months for the killing.
None other than Al Sharpton who came to the defense if his co-racialist and applauded Gov. Patterson for letting White off.
Needless to say, this issue remained strictly local—with no marches, rallies or Presidential demands for justice for the unarmed white teen. Paterson commutes sentence of man who killed teen, WABC, December 23, 2010.
This is fundamental question: even if Trayvon Martin were attacked because he was black, why has it become a national issue?
Whites (and other non-blacks) are robbed, raped and murdered by blacks on a daily basis—with barely an eyebrow raised in the Main Stream Media or by politicians and race activists.
In the same time period as the Trayvon Martin incident, a multitude of anti-white attacks by blacks occurred that remained strictly local news.
No Marches For Them?
  • Haley Pettersen, a 15-year-old white girl in a leg cast in O’Fallon, Illinois was out walking her dog when she was attacked by two black girls who said, ‘this is our territory white girl.” One girl grabbed Haley by the hair, and the other one started hitting her in the face. The blacks ran off only when some neighbors came out but the attack left Haley with a swollen left eye. [O’Fallon teen attacked near her home, By Jamie Forsythe, BND.com, March 19, 2012]
  • In Kansas City, an unnamed 50-year-old white man was left with a fractured hip and other injuries after being beaten by a group of blacks shouting racial epithets. [Man Says Youths Beat Him as Part of Racially Motivated Attack, kctv5.com, March 16, 2012]
  • Gary Allder, a white man in San Antonio, came home to find that his house had been burglarized, ransacked and tagged with racial slurs such as “Die Whitey.” Home tagged with racial slurs, profanity; victim offers reward, by Mayra Moreno, KENS 5, March 7, 2012
Die Whitey!
  • Travis Eugene Winemiller, 16, a white Polk County, Florida inmate, was beaten, choked and strangled until he was unconscious by three black inmates. They then hogtied Winemiller and said, “this is how you slave a real cracker” and threatened to kill him. 3 teens charged in jailhouse inmate attack , WTSP.com, February 29, 2012
  • Jacob Appel, a 15-year-old autistic white boy, was attacked by three blacks at his bus stop in Palm Bay, Florida. The blacks taunted, used racial slurs, and chased the victim into the street where he was nearly struck by a car. The only reason the blacks were caught is that one of the attackers posted the video on his Facebook page. Police: 3 charged with hate crime after video shows bullying of autistic teen, wftv.com, February 12, 2012

Unlike the Trayvon Martin shooting, there were clear and obvious signs of racial motivations—for example, racial slurs—in most of these attacks.
Almost all of the black-on-white attacks involved multiple black attackers against white children, the elderly or the handicapped.
Also, unlike the Martin incident, these attacks were strictly local news—and caused no national outrage.
Of course, if President Obama had a son, he would not look like Jacob Appel or Allen Coon. So apparently he did not feel the need to comment on these attacks.
Given Obama’s racially-obsessed history, perhaps he does not feel too bad about these attacks, assuming he knew about them.
There has certainly been no call for “soul searching” from Obama—or the MSM.
But it is worth asking: why do these every-day, black-on-white and black-on-non-black attacks, not register in the national news?
The rule seems to be that the (almost non-existent) combination of black victim and white attacker will always be fair game for national outrage.
But as the U.S. gets more diverse, Asians and Hispanics like Zimmerman seem set take on the role of honorary whites if they attack a black—even in self defense.
Black-on-black crime can be officially, albeit discreetly, deplored.
But blacks must never be cast as the perpetrators of hate crimes—even though they are easily the most prominent perpetrators of racial violence.
And it is in the interest of a lot of people that this double standard persist—until immigration policy overwhelms America’s historic white majority.

“The Hunger Games”: Long, Boring, Unoriginal, Feminist Snuff Film Marketed to Kids

Here is an interesting article from http://www.debbieschlussel.com/ reviewing some of the movies that came out over the past weekend. This follows this post some of the movies from last week and THIS POST about some movies that have been released over the past few years that you might have missed! This all follows this post about guidelines to chosing good movies to watch yourself!

“The Hunger Games”: Long, Boring, Unoriginal, Feminist Snuff Film Marketed to Kids

By Debbie Schlussel
In seven years as a movie critic, I’ve learned a few undeniable truths of the box office. One of them is: don’t believe the hype. You’ll always get burned. Another: there is little originality. Everything is either derivative or flat-out ripped off from something else. And so it goes with “The Hunger Games,” the much overhyped, overrated, and totally ripped-off movie that debuts in theaters, today. Sadly, this disgustingly violent and mostly soulless and unentertaining movie is marketed to kids, as the natural evolution from popular “Young Adult” lit. And it logs in at a slow-paced, sluggish two-and-a-half hours of undue self-importance.
In 2007, I reviewed “The Condemned,” a WWE-produced movie about 10 killers dropped on an island for a live reality-show game. The object was to be the one remaining survivor and would be rewarded with freedom and fame. Only one could live and the rest would have to die, mostly from being targeted by the others for death. I panned this sick “killing porn” movie, as did most critics. But, now, the same critics are gushing over a rehash of virtually the exact same plot in the long, slow, and extremely boring, “The Hunger Games.” The only difference is that, in “The Condemned,” the master of the game is a billionaire TV producer. In “The Hunger Games,” the master of the game is the President of a new fictional country, residing with his fellow elitist rich people in the “Capitol.” Both are typical lefty Hollywood constructs of capitalist creeps, who have no regard for human life, creating televised reality shows involving torture and death of “the little people” a/k/a “the 99 percent.”

It’s amazing how typically left-wing movie critics will gush over something as “high brow” when it is dressed up with Donald Sutherland (the President), Woody Harrelson, Elisabeth Banks, and young up-and-coming stars and wrapped in the phony label of “social commentary,” when it’s really just a repeat of the WWE product starring Stone Cold Steve Austin. (A reader of this site, “Ghostwriter,” notes that the storyline of “The Hunger Games” also sounds like a rip-off of “Battle Royale,” a Japanese movie about a bunch of teenagers that were taken to an island and forced to kill each other under the “Battle Royale Act.” You have to wonder if “Hunger Games” author Suzanne Collins saw either of these movies. I wouldn’t bet against that, as plagiarism is rewarded in America, and she’s rolling in cash from these books and now as executive producer of the movie.) I understand that the movie follows the first “Hunger Games” book very closely.
The thing is, “The Condemned” was rated “R” and meant only for adults. “The Hunger Games” is marketed to young teens with a PG-13 rating. But it is just as violent. That it isn’t an “R” movie is appalling. It deserves it . . . unless you think a close-up scene of one boy smashing another boy to death, with repeated bloody hits of a rock to his head, is good for kids. Sadly, so many “parents” in America are sperm and womb/egg donors who just want to be friends with their kids. And they will send their kids to see this, even take them there. Anyone who allows their kids–even teens–to see a snuff film, as this definitely is, should be tried for child abuse. At the very least, they are pimping out their kids to Hollywood violence and killing porn.

And part of the violence in this crappy flick is of the phony feminist variety–that women can kick butt and beat men much bigger than them. It’s not believable. Sadly, the movie has already made millions in advanced ticket sales and Thursday Night Midnight showings, which will falsely lead Hollywood to believe that America wants to buy into the BS that a slim, athletic girl can beat muscular guys twice her size and outlast them in the wilderness while they are trying to kill her. Sorry, but America doesn’t want that kind of fantasy, no matter how much feminists wish to make it so. In this movie, the male love interest to Katniss Everdeen, the heroine of the movie, is a crybaby, very weak, and an effeminate wimp with frosted hair, whose life is saved several times by the more masculine chick. Several women’s studies professors have been quoted in articles hyping this chick-kicks-butt movie. That ain’t real life, hags.

The story is more anti-capitalist left-wing bull-crap. It is a dystopian future and what used to be America is now called Panem. It’s divided into twelve districts of different types of working-class poor: farmers, coal miners, electrical workers, etc. They are not allowed to hunt for food, and, instead, the kids, aged twelve and up, must put an extra ticket with their name into a lottery, each time they want more food. Once a year, two names are drawn from each district: a male and a female, who must fight to the death–killing each other to survive and win–in a televised reality show in the Capital, a place filled with very rich, gaudy people in bright, clown-like clothing, make-up, and hairstyles. It’s sort of a modern day man-versus-man in the coliseum minus the culture and history, in this case mixed with a little bit of the most unreal Gloria Steinem/Betty Friedan feminist BS fantasy imaginable. The weak, nonsensical story is that because there was a violent revolution and war, the Hunger Games, as the contest is called, are held to remind the different districts of the cost of war and revolution.

Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) is an expert bow-hunter from District 12 (the coal miner district). She illegally hunts animals to sell and to feed her family, which consists of her inept, mentally
weak mother and her sister, who has just turned 12. When the annual drawing of names for the Hunger Games occurs, Katniss’ young sister is chosen, and Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and a guy from District 12 (Josh Hutcherson) are the chosen two and make their way to the Capital, where the residents snobbishly examine them and watch the Hunger Games.
As I said, Katniss outlasts all the others, and it’s just not believable. And it’s neither exciting or interesting. Just warmed over. I didn’t like the killing porn the first time when I saw it as the WWE’s “The Condemned.”

I like it even less as the regurgitated, feminist version aimed at “young adults.”

But America is made up of a bunch of suckers and sheep, so many of them racing to see this movie, having bought online tickets months ago. They eagerly ingest and digest the swill served up to them, without thought or hesitation. The other night, actress Kristen Bell uttered the most airheaded and sad comment of all about the books from which the movie was made:

This is the piece of literature that in a hundred years we’ll look back on and it will be the best thing we’ve ever written.

Spoken like a true moron. But, then, as the popularity of this movie and the books behind it proves, we are a nation of morons.

Are We Living in the Time of the End?

An interesting article from http://www.ucg.org/ about the Time of the End. This follows this post about teen ethics. F For a free magazine subscription or to get this book for free click HERE! or call 1-888-886-8632.

Are We Living in the Time of the End?

Many biblical prophecies leave us in no doubt that increasingly cataclysmic events will occur before God's direct intervention in human affairs.

For thousands of years people have been fascinated with predictions of the end of the world.
People who read and study the Bible are not the only ones concerned about where our world is headed. The late author Isaac Asimov, in his book The Choice of Catastrophes: The Disasters That Threaten Our World, listed and explained at least 15 dangers that could jeopardize human survival. Many of these potential global disasters, including nuclear war, have arrived at our door only in the last few decades.
At times people thought they understood when and how our age would end. But failed expectations about the end of the age have brought profound disappointment to scores of sincere religious individuals and groups. They thought they were correctly discerning the time and manner of the fulfillment of prophecy. But all have been wrong, or at least premature.
In spite of centuries of such disappointments, they haven't put an end to attempts to associate world events and conditions with biblical prophecies concerning the end time. This is especially true in America, where books, television and radio programs focusing on biblical prophecy abound.
If we look into the inspired writings of the Old Testament prophets and Jesus Christ's apostles, we find many prophecies that refer to the time of the end. Should we take them seriously? Should they mean anything to us? Are world conditions such that the predictions could be fulfilled in our day? Are we near the climax of the prophesied period in which the world is faced with insurmountable problems and globaldistress of holocaust proportions? Are we approaching Armageddon?
Jesus Christ Himself talked of a future time so horrendous that "if that time of troubles were not cut short, no living thing could survive"—everyone alive would die if that time was not cut short (Matthew 24:22, Revised English Bible, emphasis added throughout). Was He speaking of our time?
Many Bible prophecies leave us in no doubt that increasingly cataclysmic events will occur before God's direct intervention in human affairs. These terrifying prophetic occurrences will see their fulfillment at some future time. The crucial question is when.
Much confusion surrounds the timing of these prophecies. But this need not be so. The Bible itself reveals certain vital keys that will help us place these forewarnings in an understandable prophetic framework. We must let the Bible itself interpret its prophecies.
In this booklet we examine exactly what Jesus Christ, His apostles and the prophets of old really said about the perilous days they referred to as the time of the end.

“The Hunger Games”: Hollywood Markets Sick “Twilight” Killing Spree w/ She-Man Heroine, Girlie-Men

By Debbie Schlussel
Later today, I’ll be attending a critics’ screening of “The Hunger Games,” the much ballyhooed silver screen version of the best-selling “Young Adult” book series. I put “Young Adult” in quotation marks because the books are about a sick, violent vision of the future in which young people are selected to kill each other once a month, with only one survivor. When you teach teens that the future is dark, that fantasy should be dark, they’ll act and think dark in real life. Makes the “Twilight” contest between two girlie-men over a sullen chick sound like child’s play, huh?

Some are saying this is the new “Twilight,” and the movie is expected to garner a $100 million-plus opening when the movie debuts at Midnight Thursday Night/Friday Morning. But, to me, this sounds like just a more violent remix of “Twilight.” I’ve written that the Twilight movies are just about a girl who is the man and two “men” who are the chicks fighting over her with their sensitive sides. This looks like more of the same, with a “valiant” she-man chick as the heroine and the two men, with girlie-sounding names, “Gale” and “Peeta,” as the male chicks fighting over her. Her name is even more manly than theirs: Katniss Everdeen. The actress playing her, Jennifer Lawrence, is, in many ways, far more masculine than the carefully waxed, manicured, moussed, and gelled “guys” who play her romantic suitors, Liam Hemsworth (Miley Cyrus’ boytoy) and Josh Hutcherson. But, hey, they are suitable arm candy, the role women once played in movies like this.
And Hollywood is working overtime to market this to guys. It’s sad. We’ve already conditioned young men and 20-somethings to be slacker boys living at home with the parents. Now, we’re conditioning them in movies, more and more, to assume the role of the gushing, shrieking girls to a woman far more masculine than they are in a violent setting. Awwww. How cute. What ever happened to the movies where the guy is the hero with two hot chicks fighting over him? It’s basically true to call it a passe trend. The roles have been reversed in so many hard-to-believe movies, I’ve lost count.
Check out how the movie is being marketed to lull men-in-development into girlie-mandom and submission:
For the producers behind “The Hunger Games,” a movie based on a young-adult novel about a teenage girl fighting for survival and struggling with a love triangle, the guys matter.

The movie doesn’t open until March 23, but soothsayers are already predicting an opening-weekend gross in excess of $100 million. Barclays Capital estimates that the movie will generate $275 million domestically, on par with the most recent installment of the “Twilight” series. The studio, Lionsgate, is hoping to launch a multibillion-dollar franchise. Expectations have already sent its stock price soaring.
To avoid falling short of such lofty predictions, Lionsgate has been picking its way through a minefield of gender issues: reeling in male moviegoers without alienating core female fans. But male audiences, long the driver of blockbuster openings, have proved increasingly fickle as they divide their attention with videogames and other diversions.
Set in a dystopian future, “The Hunger Games” centers on Katniss Everdeen, a 16-year-old girl who is called upon to fight 23 other teens to the death in a twisted annual survival competition that is televised to the nation of Panem. The quick pace, strong characters and blood sport of author Suzanne Collins’s trilogy helped attract a robust male readership. . . .
From the start, the books were aimed at a crossover audience. The publisher, Scholastic, considered dozens of cover designs, including portraits of Katniss, before settling on a more “iconic” image of a bird pendant that plays a role in the story, said Rachel Coun, Scholastic’s executive director of marketing. When the book was first released, young male readers were targeted with a promotional videogame online. . . .
Some guys could be turned off by the perception that female cult fandom has sprung up around the movie, reinforced by the boisterous crowds—predominately girls—that have gathered at malls where “Hunger Games” cast members have appeared on a promotional tour. The mall strategy is pure “Twilight.” . . .
Says Vincent Bruzzese, president of Ipsos MediaCT’s Motion Picture Group, which does market research for movie studios and filmmakers: “What they are doing is marketing the archetypal themes that are gender-neutral.” Mr. Bruzzese says young men will watch action heroines.
Uh-huh, heroes are no longer male onscreen. They are “gender neutral,” which is code for: they’re women. Far too many guys have already assumed the position of Lois Lane, Veronica, and Betty (not to mention, Jughead). I know: I’m dating myself with these references, as fans of these flicks probably never heard of any of these characters, none of whom is tough and unfeminine enough for them. And this movie won’t help things.
If you don’t think that Hollywood and pop culture are shaping American males and teaching them how not to be men, you haven’t been paying attention.
And as I always say, not a single matriarchy in history has succeeded. Not one has lasted.
We are fooling ourselves in programming the genders for one.
Stay tuned for my review of the movie on Friday. In the meantime, watch the trailer (which they won’t allow anyone to embed from YouTube).
