The Usual Suspects (With a Twist): US Muslims Use Kosher Deli for Fraud

A very interesting post from http://www.debbieschlussel.com/ about tax evading Muslims. This follows this post about the campaign in Nevada and this article about the recent news about the  former ban on offshore drilling which would encourage American energy independence. This is a key issue to prevent money from going to hostile countries such as Iran and Venezuela. For more that you can do to get involved click HERE!

The Usual Suspects (With a Twist): US Muslims Use Kosher Deli for Fraud

By Debbie Schlussel

So, three Mohammeds and an Islam start a kosher deli . . . and use it for massive tax fraud against the U.S. No, it’s not the beginning of a bad joke. It’s the beginning of a bad reality perpetrated by a ring of several Florida Muslims.

This is one of those times when Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar can leave the room, as can anyone else who still refuses to face facts. Because this involves not just ONE guy named Mohammed–but THREE of them–and another guy named Islam . . . and a particular religion of the same name whose adherents make up a significant percentage of those involved in fraud by convenience store and gas station owners–numbers way beyond their percentage of the American population. But, hey, I’m sure the fact that half of ‘em are named Mohammed or Islam is well . . . as the French would say, Quelle Coincidence! Right?

Three Mohammeds & an Islam Perpetrate Massive Tax Fraud

What isn’t a coincidence is that these Muslims used a kosher deli to begin perpetrating their massive fraud. (New here, but not in Israel, where Palestinian Islamic terrorists frequently dress up as Orthodox Jews to conduct terrorist attacks.)

At least eight Palm Beach County residents – including the two alleged kingpins – are among 23 people arrested this morning in a 5-county sweep of 13 South Florida convenience stores and service stations that authorities say withheld more than $1 million in sales, unemployment and corporate taxes.

Arrested were 22 owners or employees of stores, all Bangladeshi natives, as well as the operation’s Delray Beach-based accountant, according to a 131-page affidavit that details a 3-1/2 year investigation.

Agents said employees at the stores – none were in Palm Beach County – would sell taxable items but ring them up as tax-exempt, or would round totals down to even numbers.

All the arrestees were charged with racketeering and other offenses.

Mohammed Khan, 53, the alleged head of the operation, and his wife Jharna Khan, 47, were arrested at their home west of Delray Beach by Florida Department of Law Enforcement Agents and booked into the Miami-Dade County Jail, according to Mike Driscoll, resident agent in charge of the FDLE’s West Palm Beach office.

Khan’s number two man, Mansural Islam, 49 and his wife Pervin Begam, 45, were among five suburban Boca Raton residents booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.

The other three: Mohammad Abu Samad, 51, Mohammad Sohid, 39, and Rana M. Khan, 27 . . . .

According to the affidavit, filed today in Miami-Dade Circuit Court, the Florida Department of Revenue began investigating the operators in February 2007 because they consistently reported suspiciously low sales on state tax returns.

The summary says Mohammed Khan and Mansural Islam began working in South Florida convenience stores in the 1980s and, in April 1990, opened the Manzu & Khan kosher deli and market in Delray Beach.

Over the next three decades, the two and their wives set up more than 118 corporate entities to own or control convenience stores, in some case using imaginary people as partners.

In several cases, the partners would buy a store and, where possible, the land under it, and then offer to sell the business – but not the real estate — to partners or employees, even helping them with financing.

That allowed them to continue as landlords, the affidavit said.

And, it said, in many cases, the new owners were simply “straw owners” for the two heads of the operation.

“Manzu & Khan kosher deli?” Sadly, what was really coming out of there was “halal money”–Islamic money made from ripping off infidels.

Ain’t nothin’ kosher ’bout that.
