President Obama’s campaign organization, Organizing for America, goes way, way too far.
Team Obama wants to use 9/11 to push back against protesters, referred to as “Right-Wing Domestic Terrorists” by calling Senators in support of the Obamacare public government option.
Today, the Obama campaign folks sent out a notice to “grassroots” supporters about the planned 9/11″health care organizing event”:

What day? Our US Senators return to DC the Tues after Labor Day. That next FRIDAY, Sep 11, is Patriot Day, designated in memory of the nearly three thousand who died in the 9/11 attacks.
All 50 States are coordinating in this – as we fight back against our own Right-Wing Domestic Terrorists who are subverting the American Democratic Process, whipped to a frenzy by their Fox Propaganda Network ceaselessly re-seizing power for their treacherous leaders.
The offensive notice has been scrubbed from the Organizing for America website, but I was able to get the following screenshot [click for larger image].

How dare they? Don’t contemplate the nearly 3,000 innocent souls murdered by the terrorists. Instead, politicize a day of remembrance. Whatever happenedto what presidential candidate Obama said on September 11, 2008:

Americans across our great country came together to stand with thefamilies of the victims, to donate blood, to give to charity, and tosay a prayer for our country. Let us renew that.
What happened to all that hope?

Don’t let team Obama get away with hijacking Patriot Day, a day that should remain a day of remembrance. Don’t wait until the Obamatons launch the planned Senate assault. Call your Senators and your Representatives now.
Let them know what you think about this despicable effort to politicize 9/11.
Tell them what you think of the president’s campaign organization calling protesters terrorists. Do it now.

Fire Napolitano?

A very interesting case made by www.moveamericaforward.org about firing Janet Napolitano for her memo on so-called "domestic terrorism."


SHAME ON YOU JANET NAPOLITANO!! OBAMA SHOULD FIRE DHS DIRECTOR OVER DISGRACEFUL REPORT THAT ATTACKS U.S. TROOPS
Barack Obama’s appointee to head the Department of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, has attacked American war veterans, saying they’re a risk to the homeland because right-wing extremists could enlist them to terrorize the United States. Napolitano allowed the offensive DHS threat “assessment,” entitled “Right Wing Extremism,” to be sent to over 800,000 law enforcement officers nationwide. The report included a controversial theory that supposedly “disgruntled” troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan are prime candidates for domestic terror. This smear of our heroic war veterans who have served so diligently and honorably in Iraq and Afghanistan is outrageous and unacceptable. And Napolitano’s half-hearted apology does nothing to reverse the damage done with her libel of our troops. In fact her comments since the report was released only further dishonor our brave troops who don’t deserve this slander. “In retrospect,” she told The Hill, “anything can be written differently to prevent politicization. But I think any fair reading says this is very consistent with other reports that have been issued before.” Napolitano is NOT apologizing for the inaccuracy of the report; she’s just trying to downplay it as being politicized! Well there is nothing POLITICAL about supporting our troops and Napolitano should lose her job for attacking them!
It is WRONG to have the Director of Homeland Security attacking our troops for being terrorists! Please make a donation to Move America Forward and our continuing efforts to get her FIRED!

She then even had the gall to refer to terrorist attacks as MAN-CAUSED DISASTERS. But, she has no hesitancy in suggesting that returning American troops could become “terrorists.” The United States cannot stand for outrageous attacks against our troops from Barack Obama’s cabinet. As citizens, we must stand against those who demean and libel our troops.

Congressman King says DHS should be watching mosques, not "right-wing extremists"

Leftist/Jihadist Alliance Update: the lefties at Think Progress posted this video. They think they have caught Congressman Peter King (R-NY) in a "Gotcha" moment on this one, but not unexpectedly, they play fast and loose with the facts. In their post they quote King thusly:
“[Y]ou could say that 80-85 percent of mosques in this country are controlled by Islamic fundamentalists,” he said in 2004.
The impression one might get from this is that King originated this figure -- pulled it out of his hat, made it up. In reality, he is on very firm ground here, but Think Progress doesn't tell you that. The Naqshbandi Sufi Sheikh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani said this in a State Department Open Forum on January 7, 1999: “The most dangerous thing that is going on now in these mosques, that has been sent upon these mosques around the United States – like churches they were established by different organizations and that is ok – but the problem with our communities is the extremist ideology. Because they are very active they took over the mosques; and we can say that they took over more than 80% of the mosques that have been established in the US. And there are more than 3000 mosques in the US. So it means that the methodology or ideology of extremist has been spread to 80% of the Muslim population, but not all of them agree with it.”
Kabbani based his statement on personal investigation of 114 American mosques, and never retracted his words, despite enormous pressure from American Muslim advocacy groups. In October 2001 the New York Times reported: “Sheik Kabbani said that he stood by his claim in his State Department speech that 80 percent of American mosques had been taken over by extremists, because of the 114 mosques he first visited in the United States, ‘Ninety of them were mostly exposed, and I say exposed, to extreme or radical ideology,’ based on their speeches, books and board members.”

This estimate has been borne out by more recent studies.

And is there any evidence of jihadist plotting in American mosques? Yes. Yes, there is.
