When people say, "Have a merry Christmas," how should you respond?

An interesting article from http://www.ucg.org/ about Merry Christmas. This follows this post about Star Wars. For a free magazine subscription or to get the books recommended for free click HERE! or call 1-888-886- 8632.

For those of us who do not celebrate Christmas, knowing how to respond to someone who might be sincerely wishing us well is difficult. Here are a few principles that are important to keep in mind:
1) Most people wishing us well about Christmas have no idea that Christmas is pagan in its origin, and are often unaware that we do not celebrate it.
2) There is usually not enough time to respond to that person by giving a short explanation of either the origin of Christmas or the fact that you don't celebrate it for reasons of conscience.
3) To most, saying “Merry Christmas” or “Have a happy Christmas” becomes so commonplace, it is very similar to saying “Have a good day.” Most people say it out of obligation or common courtesy.
4) To simply say “Thank you” to someone who has wished you such would not be wrong—given the circumstances. It thanks them for the sentiment, but is not responding “in kind” by implying you observe Christmas.
As for the similar spelling of the words Santa and Satan , this is purely a coincidence, as these words originate in different languages and are wholly unrelated. Santa is a Latin word meaning “saint” or “holy.” Satan , on the other hand, is a Hebrew word which means “Adversary” or “Accuser.”

#RaceTogether

Starbuck's short lived campaign to dialogue about race in America produced mixed reactions.

[Darris McNeely] Did you happen to get one of these cups of coffee at Starbucks last week when you went in for your favorite brew, as they were going through a promotional idea, #RaceTogether? An effort by Starbucks, initiated by its CEO to start a dialogue on race in America. They cancelled it after one week, and of course, the cancellation caused as much comment as the actual event itself, that went on for several days, as people from all walks of life commented about the effort to establish a dialogue on racial discrimination and racial problems in the United States, in Starbucks. The idea was that the barista would write this #RaceTogether on their coffee cup and then engage you, the customer, in a discussion about a very sensitive issue that could really erupt – who knows where that would go, because of the barista not being trained, perhaps, in how to discuss this with people, and just your frame of mind on an early Sunday morning, all you want your cup of coffee, not really to get into a discussion about that.
One famous American, Karima Abdul Jabar himself, said he was in shock and awe at the effort by Starbucks to do this – in shock that they would think that it might work, but in awe that they would try it, to do something to correct what indeed is a social problem in the United States and other parts of the world, and still, so many years after so much progress has been made, does elicit some very strong feelings.
And so, this particular program has gone; there’ll be others. And unfortunately, there’ll probably be other eruptions of racial discrimination, racial violence, and tension in our world to remind us that relations between mankind at all levels, of all races, creeds, or ethnicities, are not exactly what they should be.
I think for each one of us, we need to just stop and analyze what’s in our heart and think about this in our background, in our thoughts, in our actions – to make sure that before God and before our fellow man, there is no racial discrimination, there are no thoughts of evil in any way, or thinking of matters of inequality. For a Christian, for a son of God, those ideas, those thoughts should find no place in one’s heart.
In Romans:14:19, the apostle Paul makes a statement about this, as he’s talking about relationships between people on a spiritual basis, and he says, “Therefore, let us pursue the things which make for peace, and the things by which one may edify another.” Strive for peace in your words, in your relationships, and in your heart. Strive for that peace with God and strive for that with your fellow man. If that’s the case, and if that works, then we can have the help to deal with discrimination and get along together at a better level than what we may have done in the past.

Tens of thousands tweet #illridewithyou hashtag over cafe jihad backlash fears

A very interesting post from www.jihadwatch.org about the hashtag, #Illridewithyou. This follows this post about the President threatening sanctions against Israel. This follows this article about American energy independence and preventing money from going to hostile countries. For more, you can read two very interesting books HERE.

Tens of thousands tweet #illridewithyou hashtag over cafe jihad backlash fears

Australia police“Reprisal attacks are something that should not happen.” Indeed so. They should not happen, and for the most part they don’t. Jihad attacks are also something that should not happen. Where are the Muslims offering to ride with Infidels in order to defend them against other Muslims who may wish to bomb them, behead them, or take them hostage as they step into a coffee shop today?
“#illridewithyou supports Muslims amid Sydney siege,” AFP, December 15, 2014 (thanks to Lookmann):
Australians came out Monday in solidarity with the Muslim community following a siege at a Sydney cafe, as tens of thousands tweeted the hashtag #illridewithyou to counter concern about an anti-Islam backlash.
The hostage-taking at the Lindt chocolate cafe triggered a security lockdown in the heart of Australia’s biggest city, with the government and Muslim leaders condemning the attack and calling for unity.
Amid uncertainty about the hostage-taker’s motives and fears of reprisals after an Islamic flag was raised in the cafe, an Australian woman reportedly started the #illridewithyou hashtag to show solidarity with Muslims who might feel threatened on public transport.
“#373 bus between Coogee & Martin Place. #illridewithyou @ me if you just want to wear your headdress & not be bothered,” @sirtessa tweeted.
Within hours, Australians around the country repeated the hashtag, with more than 40,000 tweets helping #illridewithyou become one of the top trends on the social media site.
“I make a commitment, right now, to always say something when I see any kind of abuse on public transport. #illridewithyou,” one user tweeted.
Another user in South Australia wrote, “If you wear religious attire, & need to get from #Adelaide’s west suburbs to the city on Tues but don’t want to travel alone #illridewithyou.”
Others offered help beyond travel support: “I’m mostly housebound so Im not useful for #illridewithyou but if you’re ever in tarneit VIC and need somewhere safe to hide out, contact me.”
Australia’s race discrimination commissioner Tim Soutphommasane said he was heartened by the campaign, adding: “let’s not allow fear, hatred and division to triumph.”
Anti-Islam groups had earlier expressed outrage about the siege, with the Australian Defence League writing on Facebook: “Here it is folks, homegrown islamic terrorism in our backyard, courtesy of successive australian governments and their brainwashed voters.”
New South Wales Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione said officers were working with the Muslim community.
“Reprisal attacks are something that should not happen,” he added.
More than 40 Muslim groups condemned the siege, saying in a statement that they rejected “any attempt to take the innocent life of any human being or to instil fear and terror into their hearts”.
Note the key word “innocent.” Which human beings exactly are innocent?

Queen Esther on Starbucks?

If you read the book of Esther while celebrating Purim recently, or if you go to Starbucks you might find this an interesting read. Hat tip www.jewishworldreview.com

Ah yes, Starbucks: home of the Zionist genocidal apartheid bean.

In January, Egyptian Cleric Safwat Higazi brought viewers of al Nas TV urgent news about the Starbucks logo:

Has any of you ever wondered who this woman with a crown on her head is? Why do we boycott Starbucks? ... The girl on the Starbucks logo is Queen Esther. Do you know who Queen Esther was and what the crown on her head means? This is the crown of the Persian Kingdom. This queen is the queen of the Jews. She is mentioned in the Torah, in the Book of Esther. The girl you see is Esther, the queen of the Jews in Persia...
Can you believe that in Mecca, Al-Madina, Cairo, Damascus, Kuwait, and all over the Islamic world, hangs the picture of beautiful Queen Esther, with a crown on her head, and we buy her products.[...]We want Starbucks to be shut down throughout the Arab and Islamic world. We want it to be shut down in Mecca and in Al-Madina. I implore King Abdallah bin Abd Al-‘Aziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques: It is inconceivable that in Mecca and Al-Madina, there will be a picture of Queen Esther, the queen of the Jews.

As anyone can see, however, the female figure in the Starbucks logo (pictured on the link below) has two fish tails. This is a clue that she is not Esther, queen of the Jews in Persia. She is instead a twin-tailed siren of Greek mythology. This is because the company is apparently named in part after Starbuck, Captain Ahab’s first mate in the book Moby Dick.
What we are up against within the Islamic world is quite simply a wholesale negation of reason; nothing less.
