No Laughing Matter: Samantha Bee Show Pranks Kids, Tells Them They Were Almost Aborted

An interesting story from www.lifenews.com about Samantha Bee. This follows this post about Christians getting abortions! For two very interesting books click HERE.

Samantha Bee isn’t just pushing for abortion on her Full Frontal show. She and husband Jason Jones are shoving the issue into the broader entertainment world now too.
During the latest episode, The Road, the parents, Nate and Robin, revealed to their kids that they were lucky to be alive today.
The story began with a flashback where Robin (Natalie Zea) held a positive pregnancy test while sitting on the toilet.

“We don’t have to decide right now,” she calmed Nate (Jason Jones). “We’ll weigh the options and I will make the decision.”
Another flashback showed a technician giving Robin an ultrasound. As Nate and Robin watched the ultrasound on a screen revealing twins, Nate and Robin argued back and forth about whether or not to go through with the pregnancy.
Back in present time, their daughter Delilah (Ashley Gerasimovich) interrupted, “I’m really confused right now. You’re pregnant. So what was there to decide?”
Robin searched for a euphemistic term to describe abortion.
“Well, I had to make a choice,” she began. “I had to make a choice, uh… about whether or not I was gonna keep you?”
Confused, the kids asked, “You were thinking about giving us up for adoption? Well, who was gonna be our mom and dad?”
Robin finally found a way to describe abortion: a “trip to Europe.”
“I had to, uh, make a choice a-about whether or not I wanted to take a-a trip to the… um, Europe,” she responded.
She then went into a monologue about the “right to choose”:
“See, the – they’re a lot of women, who, um, find themselves in a position where they feel like they have to choose between being a mom and going to Europe, and – and it’s a – it’s a very, very serious decision and one that should never be taken lightly. And make no mistake, every woman deserves the right to choose… Europe, if she so desires.”
“But just know this,” she admitted, “Every time I look at you, I am so thankful that I decided to stay in Syracuse.”
The story ended with Robin confessing that she had gone to Europe (aka received an abortion) before her pregnancy with the twins.
“Just once,” she said. “Last year of high school.”
The abortion agenda is a favorite of Samantha Bee. Earlier this month, her Full Frontal show called pro-lifers “assholes” and “dickheads.”

Patience in the Face of Tragedy in Indiana

An interesting article from http://www.ucg.org/ about Indiana's tri-state area. This follows this post about civilization. This follows this post about LGBT homosexuality. For a free magazine subscription or to get the books recommended for free click HERE! or call 1-888-886- 8632.

Here in southwest Ohio, an area often called “the tri-state” since it borders southern Indiana and northern Kentucky,we had our first wave of tornadoes last Friday afternoon. Powerful tornadoes touched down just south of my home and leveled some small towns in southern Indiana. Today the residents of those areas are picking up the pieces and relief efforts are underway.
The story of a fifteen month old little girl is the most tragic of all the stories that emerge from this event. She was found ten miles from the spot where she lived with her parents in a trailer. Both parents died in the storm and this little girl suffered severe brain trauma. She survived a couple of days but died yesterday. The poor girl was carried through the air and fell to earth in a field.
The reason I can't get this out of my mind is because I have a fifteen month old granddaughter. I can imagine the size and weight of this little girl who died. I can see the length of her hair and know that she must have been walking only a few months and probably had learned to climb stairs and pull things out of their place and run hesitantly around her home making loud noises. She was probably the delight of her family. Was she the first grandchild? Did she have a cute smile? How many words was she trying to form as everyone looked into her eyes and acted just plain silly to evoke a response from her?
Now all that is but a memory for those who knew her.
Your heart breaks when you stop to think of the horror of such a tragedy. The questions that always come at such a time now arise. “Where was God?” “Why did God allow this to happen to this innocent little girl and all the the other who died and suffered loss?”
I have been asked these questions many times through the years. Standing at the grave of infant children, middle aged men and those who died before their time - I have had to give an answer that somehow provides hope and satisfaction. At times no answer removes the pain of loss.
For any who come to this moment in life, these “descents into darkness”, have only one purpose in the end. It is to bring us closer to the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. We cannot know the answer to “why” in every case of suffering and tragedy in this life. There is simply too much within this so-called “vale of tears”. It overwhelms us when we try to consider. Many have abandoned any faith in God as a result of the evil and suffering in this world.
The one answer I have arrived at is this. Do not abandon God in your moment of suffering. Let it draw you to Him in a way no other event could do, Cry out to Him for grace and help. James writes to us, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have  its  perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing”. (James 1:2-4)
Patience is a key to eventually understanding why bad things happen to good people. It is a difficult virtue to build into our life, but if we can master this we stand on the threshold of greater understanding of this life and all its challenges.
God watched while this tornado bore down on a small trailer in southern Indiana and sucked a fifteen month old girl into its vortex. But He also has watched while every other unspeakable tragedy happened to every infant in history, and one day He will bring those children back to life and they will live to adulthood. The Bible teaches this comforting truth and it is sure.
This truth does not remove the pain of the moment for those who remain and watch. But there will be a time when He will wipe away every tear and with it the lingering pain of memory. Let us pray for all at such a time the the the peace of God will comfort and encourage.

New Documents Make It Clear: Obama Wants to Force Christians to Pay for Abortions

An interesting story from www.lifenews.com about abortion payment. This follows this post about Kamala Harris. For two very interesting books click HERE.
Please follow me here.

As a general rule, one is typically on the wrong side of the issue if they are fighting against a group of nuns providing care for the elderly and poor. “One,” in this case, is unsurprisingly the Obama Administration.
The pending U.S. Supreme Court case Zubik v. Burwell involves the Catholic charity the Little Sister of the Poor and other religious organizations’ desire to not provide services in their health plans that violate their religious beliefs. Namely, this includes free access to contraceptive drugs, including some that may cause abortions.
The Obama Administration claims that they include a workaround that should satisfy objectors, but the religious groups are not buying it. New evidence makes it appear that the administration has little interest in finding a solution that satisfies the religious organizations.
The Washington Post details some of Professor Michael McConnell’s thoughts about new developments in the case. After oral arguments, in a rare move, the Supreme Court ordered both sides to submit supplemental briefs to entertain potentially less restrictive alternatives to Obama’s current contraception mandate.
SIGN THE PLEDGE: I Pledge to Vote for a Pro-Life Candidate for President
The government’s response to the court request was long-winded, unclear and unhelpful. In sharp contrast, the petitioners for the religious groups said in response to whether a possible solution exists, “The answer to that question is clear and simple: Yes.”
McConnell says in his case against the government’s position: “I continue to think that the best accommodation is to allow petitioners’ employees to do what the millions of other Americans without access to employer plans covering contraceptive do: buy a plan from an Obamacare exchange, with the same subsidies everyone else gets. The government has never explained why this is not a sensible solution to this problem.”
The government exempted a number of big companies from the mandate, but it refuses to provide exemptions or special accommodations for these religious groups.
Yuval Levin writes in National Review, “It’s important to see that the Obama Administration picked this fight.” He argues that Obama deliberately did this to stir up a cultural fight over a problem that is not an actual problem.
It says something unfortunate that the administration chose to pursue a case so weak, all in the effort to prevent religious organizations from helping the vulnerable.

Abortion and Planned Parenthood A Cause for Righteous Anger!

An interesting article from http://www.ucg.org/ about Planned Parenthood in light of Kamala Harris's raid. This follows this post about the major unreported attack in India. This follows this post about homosexuality. For a free magazine subscription or to get the books recommended for free click HERE! or call 1-888-886- 8632.

Why should abortion—and the merchandising of the body parts of murdered babies—fill us with godly, righteous anger?
Every day I read at least some news, so I spend my fair share of time feeling sad or shocked or simply perplexed at the things seemingly regular people do to other seemingly regular people. Thankfully, information saturation hasn’t numbed me to human suffering, and I can still get shocked and upset by what I see. I really wish there was enough good news to offset the bad, and I really wish I could walk away from a news report feeling happy and hopeful for everyone whose stories I read and hear about. It doesn’t happen very often.\
Godly, righteous anger is about justice , not revenge.
Every now and again I read a story that goes beyond the everyday shock and awe at the darker sides of human nature. You probably had the same reaction when you read about it or watched the videos that were shared around. I’m talking about the revelation that representatives of Planned Parenthood, the United States’ largest abortion provider, were caught on video bartering over body parts from aborted children.
Sure, I was shocked. I felt stunned and sad. But I felt another emotion as well—something deeper and rawer than sadness or shock. I was  angry.
Was it right for me to be angry? Should you be angry about abortion? Is it possible to be angry in a godly way? I’ll come back to America’s abortion crisis, but first let’s lay some groundwork on the complex concept of righteous, godly anger.

God’s anger is righteous

We don’t often think of anger as a Christian emotion—and for the most part, that’s probably a good thing. Christians are to be defined by their relationship with God the Father and Jesus Christ. They are measured by the character of Jesus Himself. And He perfectly modeled self-control, patience and mercy. But He was also capable of anger when the situation called for it.
All four Gospels record Jesus’ anger at the moneychangers in the temple for profaning God’s holy house. Maybe when you think about our Savior shouting, flipping over tables and using a makeshift whip to drive animals out of the temple it makes you uncomfortable. Maybe you have a difficult time reconciling this very real image of Jesus with other very real images of Jesus defending the weak, healing the sick and taking up the cause of the poor.
If we honestly and humbly read the Bible, though, we’ll see that this instance of Jesus’ life is 100 percent, entirely consistent with His righteous character as it’s displayed throughout the Bible. The author of Hebrews gives us an essential truth about Jesus: He is “the same yesterday, today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). That means the same godly character that produced anger at the temple moneychangers also produces great mercy every day. The same godly character that commands care for widows and orphans commands justice and judgment on those who reject God’s way.
Psalms 7:12 tells us, “God is angry with the wicked every day.” It should come as no surprise then that God is very angry at the senseless killing of helpless children. We shouldn’t be shocked that God is angry that people are profiting from the killing of His precious children. We also shouldn’t be afraid to feel some of that anger ourselves and to “sigh and cry” over the evil actions we see (Ezekiel 9:4).
When we read about callous violence and injustice, it’s right to be angry. We need to tread carefully however. Anger is a powerful and potentially very destructive emotion that, in the wrong context, wrong frame of mind and wrong spirit, can wreck our spiritual lives and cause us to hurt others.

Is your anger righteous?

Christianity is all about becoming more and more like God as Jesus modeled His righteous character for us to follow. It’s important that we keep close tabs on our thoughts and actions to make sure that we’re following His lead and not the pulls of the flesh and allowing human nature to dictate our responses. That’s why we need to constantly examine ourselves to make sure we’re staying on the “straight and narrow.” How do we know if we’re right or wrong in being angry at something?
Many scriptures show us there’s a vast gulf separating righteous and unrighteous anger. In the very beginning of mankind’s history, Cain’s anger drove him to murder his own brother (Genesis 4:8). Unfettered anger—or misdirected anger—can lead us to great sin. God Himself tells us that it is good to be angry as long as we don’t sin through misdirected, unrestrained anger (Ephesians 4:26).
So what is godly anger? One condition of righteous anger is that it should be directed toward sin. Just as Jesus was furious at the profaning of His Father’s house, we should hate sin and the negative consequences it brings on people—especially the innocent or helpless.
Proverbs 6 lists seven things that God actively hates. The common denominator is sin and its effects on people: “These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren” (Proverbs 6:16-19).
A second aspect of godly anger is that it isn’t quickly or easily kindled. God’s anger at sin isn’t explosive. He’s not a “walking time bomb” like some people are.
No one likes to be around other people who have a reputation for their quick tempers. Sometimes people with explosive anger can be very dangerous. God Himself testifies to His slow temper: “The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth” (Exodus 34:6).
If we want to cultivate only righteous anger, we need to follow His lead, being “slow to wrath” (James 1:19). In fact, this quality of God is one of the fruits of His Holy Spirit that develops in us as we grow close to God and He begins producing His character within us. Paul wrote that “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23, emphasis added). Notice here self-control —another essential trait of those who don’t sin in anger.
A third factor in godly, righteous anger is that it’s about justice, not revenge. Do we get angry at people and hope for the time when they “get theirs”? If I’m being honest, I have to admit that sometimes my anger over horrific events like the mass slaughter of infants gets me going down this path.
But that human desire for punishment isn’t even remotely related to God’s promise of true justice for the innocent and the guilty. Paul tells us that we should “give place to wrath, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord” (Romans 12:19). Wait for God’s time of judgment and justice.
God will ultimately deal with evildoers. And it helps to always keep in mind what God is well aware of—that people are misled in their thinking and actions by a powerful malevolent spirit—Satan the devil (see 1 John 5:19 and “An Evil Spirit World: Where Did It Come From? ”).

Why be angry about abortion?

Back to the Planned Parenthood controversy: Why should abortion—and the merchandising of the body parts of murdered babies—fill us with godly, righteous anger?
Consider that our society—our culture—is murdering, wholesale, the most precious and helpless among us. Psalm 127 tells us that children are a gift from God. They are precious to Him and should be to us. They’re not a burden, not a negative consequence, and certainly not a “parasite” in the womb as some characterize the unborn.
To say that we can choose to, at any point in a nine-month window of time, kill the next generation of the human family—all potential members of the divine family of God—is a great evil and a curse. We should be furious at the very notion.
Let’s be honest: Almost all abortions, by some estimates more than 99 percent, are performed for the reason of convenience.  The baby was conceived at an “inconvenient time” for the parents. No one has yet explained why a child can be given the death penalty because of the circumstances of their conception.
A fairly conservative estimate—based on numbers collected by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention—puts the number of legal abortions performed in the United States since the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion in 1973 at approximately 51 million. That’s 51 million lives cut short, 51 million untold stories, immeasurable potential thrown away and sacrificed to the false god of convenience and personal choice. Does that make you angry? It should.

Godly anger should lead to repentance

It should make you angry because, as Ezekiel warned Israel, sin twists people’s lives (Ezekiel 7:13, New Living Translation). The sin of murder through abortion twists the lives of those affected. And on a bigger scale, the widespread acceptance and support of abortion and organizations like Planned Parenthood twists the moral fiber of a people. If America’s national conscience can tolerate the dismembering of a child and the merchandising of its body parts, what can’t it tolerate?
There’s one last element to godly, righteous anger, and it’s the most important element. The anger that comes from God should convict us to change and become more like Him. It should motivate us to fix our problems and turn toward the mercy and love God desperately wants to extend to us.
God doesn’t want people to suffer the bad consequences that sin produces, and He doesn’t want any nation to suffer these consequences either. God is patient and “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:8).
It’s not too late for those whose lives have been twisted by the sin of abortion to repent and live by God’s high standard of respect for the sanctity of life. And, while it would require a great miracle, it’s also not too late for America and other countries where abortion is legal to experience a nationwide repentance and to turn away from this sin.
God is waiting with arms wide open to accept those who turn away from sin to seek Him. Will America respond? Will you?

David Daleiden: Kamala Harris Stole Unreleased Video Footage Exposing Planned Parenthood

An interesting story from www.lifenews.com about Kamala Harris. This follows this post about Hillary Clinton. This follows this post about the Chair of the Democratic Party. For two very interesting books click HERE.
Please follow me here.

In a new interview with Fox News, the director of the Center for Medical Progress said officials working for pro-abortion California Attorney General Kamala Harris stole unreleased video footage concerning Planned Parenthood. CMP has exposed Planned Parenthood with multiple videos showing the abortion business selling the body parts of aborted babies.
California authorities seized a laptop and hard drives containing the video footage collected during Daleiden’s 3-year investigation of Planned Parenthood’s involvement in the illegal sale of aborted baby remains, according to a written statement made by Life Legal Defense Foundation, which is helping to defend Daleiden.
Harris, a pro-abortion Democrat, chose to focus her investigation on Daleiden and his associates rather than Planned Parenthood, even though the video footage so far released by Daleiden’s Center for Medical Progress shows clear evidence that Planned Parenthood was illegally altering abortion procedures to endure intact organs targeted for harvesting then selling the organs for profit.
Since the California Department of Justice, under the leadership of Democratic State Attorney General Kamala Harris, searched the home of David Daleiden on Tuesday, there have been numerous news stories noting an apparent conflict of interest in Harris’ investigation of Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress that ignores obvious evidence of illegal conduct on the part of Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood has donated $81,000 to Harris and, because of the massive conflict of interest, pro-life groups are calling for her resignation.
SIGN THE PETITION: Drop the Charges Against David Daleiden and Charge Planned Parenthood
Now, Daleiden is telling Fox News about what Harris’ officials took from his home:
DALEIDEN: “The very worst baby body parts violations and Planned Parenthood’s baby body parts harvesting program took place in California. Those clips your viewers just saw were all filmed with Planned Parenthood representatives and Planned Parenthood business partners in the state in California. But instead of investigating them, and instead of going after them, Attorney General Kamala Harris (D), who’s running for Senate, and fundraising on her website off of Planned Parenthood, receives money from Planned Parenthood, just invaded my home the other day, and took all of the video footage, including unreleased video footage.”
HANNITY: “Do you have duplicates?”
DALEIDEN: “We’re still assessing the extent of what they took, and what kind of backup copies might be available. They took — they took everything, including footage that has not seen the light of day yet.”
Harris also was endorsed by the pro-abortion National Organization for Women. NOW describes her as a “longtime, vocal supporter of Planned Parenthood” who promised to investigate CMP and fight for taxpayer funding of the abortion business.
Harris oversaw the raid — but she has significant conflict of interest problems. She is funded by Planned Parenthood and her web site is currently promoting a petition for the abortion business.
“To storm into a private citizen’s home with a search warrant is outrageously out of proportion for the type of crime alleged.  It’s a discredit to law enforcement, an oppressive abuse of government power,” said Matt Heffron, a former federal prosecutor in Phoenix AZ and now a legal adviser to David Daleiden.
Daleiden’s legal team at the Life Legal Defense Fund highlighted the issues with Harris in an email to LifeNews:
“California Attorney General Kamala Harris has obtained a warrant to search and seize David Daleiden’s property in retaliation for his investigation into Planned Parenthood’s trade in fetal body parts. Harris threatened to pursue Daleiden after the first undercover video was released last July and is now making good on her threat,” it said. “Yesterday, Department of Justice agents searched David’s home and took away many of his personal belongings.”
“The timing of the warrant appears suspect, as only days ago the Los Angeles Times taunted Harris by asking ‘What’s taking California so long?’ to dispense ‘swift poetic justice’ to David Daleiden,” it added.
“Kamala Harris is a staunch supporter of Planned Parenthood and has received campaign donations from numerous Planned Parenthood affiliates. These affiliates are the beneficiaries of millions of dollars in state and federal funds annually—a portion of which is funneled into political campaigns so the billion-dollar abortion cartel can call in favors as needed,” Life Legal continued.
It added:
In video after video, David Daleiden exposes Planned Parenthood officials skirting or violating federal and state laws governing fetal tissue harvesting. The CEO of California-based StemExpress is shown discussing “making it financially beneficial” for abortion providers to sell aborted tissue to fetal tissue brokers. StemExpress is currently resisting requests from Congress seeking information related to buying the bodies of intact and dismembered human fetuses aborted at California Planned Parenthood facilities.
Nevertheless, California’s Attorney General has decided that her loyalty to Planned Parenthood requires her to turn a blind eye to the abortion giant’s unlawful activity. Instead, she has launched an inquisition into David Daleiden, starting with the seizure of his private property and papers.
In contrast, when an undercover investigation of a meat-packing plant revealed potential violations of the law, Kamala Harris defended legislation to stop the barbaric treatment of animals. At no time fit the Attorney General’s office call for an investigation into the undercover journalist who exposed the illegal activity.
Daleiden is facing politically-motivated attacks on multiple fronts. Earlier this year, a Texas grand jury whose task was to investigate Planned Parenthood turned on the pro-life citizen journalist instead.
A Texas grand jury indicted Daleiden and another pro-life activist, Sandra Merritt, behind the videos. Instead of prosecuting Planned Parenthood for selling aborted baby parts, Daleiden was indicted for buying them.
Daleiden rejected a deal for probation on those charges in February, and his attorney said he demands an apology from the Texas district attorney who filed the bogus charges.
