Sen. Tommy Williams added the sanctuary city provision back to HB 12 and it was then passed out of the committee. It now goes to the Senate where it needs a vote of 21 to be heard on the Senate floor. As you know, in the Senate there are 19 Republicans and 12 Democrats. WE NEED 2 DEMOCRAT VOTES FOR THE BILL TO BE HEARD ON THE SENATE FLOOR!







BE PREPARED, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT HB 12 WAS PASSED OUT OF COMMITTEE ONLY BECAUSE THE COMMITTEE KNEW THAT IT WOULD NEVER MAKE IT TO THE SENATE FLOOR! WE SHOULD HOLD OUR SENATORS TO ACCOUNT.











YOUR MESSAGE SHOULD BE:



"Pass HB 12 this session to end the dangerous practice of providing sanctuary to illegal aliens in Texas. Law enforcement officers, citizens, and other residents (both legal and illegal) have been killed and suffered severe injury because criminal illegal aliens are being allowed to live in our communities without fear. Violence from drug cartels are threatening our cities through this dangerous policy! This "magnet" must end this session."
