As an analysis of Barack Obama's nominee for Secretary of Defense, there is a good review by Debbie Schlussel here. Many conservative Republicans seem to be coming out against his, and the president's "Blame America and Israel" foreign policy stance, but we shall see if he receives the confirmation votes after all! Of course this can be weighed against the President's previous nominees such as his Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor and her judicial activism against Hobby Lobby.
